Rams RE Robert Quinn (shoulder) and LE William Hayes (ankle) are listed questionable for Week 7 against the Giants.

Both are expected to play after practicing in full Thursday. It'll be a big boost to Los Angeles' defense after Quinn missed Weeks 5 and 6. Hayes returned last week after sitting the previous two games. Both will be tasked with wreaking havoc on Eli Manning against a vulnerable Giants offensive line. Out for the Rams are DT Michael Brockers (hip) and CB Trumaine Johnson (ankle).

Rams DE Robert Quinn (shoulder) practiced in full Thursday.

The full practice puts Quinn on track to return this week. Quinn had two sacks in four games before going down.
Oct 20 - 11:57 AM

Rams RE Robert Quinn (shoulder) is inactive for Week 6 against the Lions.

On the bright side, Los Angeles will get back DE William Hayes and DT Michael Brockers. Los Angeles also declared CB Trumaine Johnson, WR Pharoh Cooper, QB Sean Mannion, OT Pace Murphy, TE Temarrrick Hemingway, and WR Nelson Spruce inactive for Week 6.
Oct 16 - 11:37 AM

Rams RE Robert Quinn (shoulder) will play in Sunday's Week 6 game against the Lions.

He's back after missing last week's game with a shoulder injury. Quinn's return helps but the Rams' front line is still banged up. William Hayes (ankle) is expected to miss his third straight game while Michael Brockers (hip) will be a game-time decision. Fortunately for the Rams, they have a favorable matchup against Detroit's patchwork running game.

Rams RE Robert Quinn (shoulder) is questionable for Week 6 against the Lions.

As are DE William Hayes (ankle) and DT Michael Brockers (hip). All three got in limited practices Friday and are expected to be game-time decisions. The Rams struggled to stop the run last week with all three sidelined.

Oct 15 - 11:15 AM

Rams RE Robert Quinn (shoulder) did not practice Wednesday.

Neither did DE William Hayes (ankle) nor DT Michael Brockers (hip). All three sat out last week against the Bills, and LeSean McCoy gashed the Rams for 150 yards on just 18 carries. The Lions do not pose that kind of threat on the ground, but it would be a big boost to get even one of these guys back.
Oct 13 - 9:47 AM

Rams RE Robert Quinn (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Week 5 against the Bills.

Quinn is unlikely to play after not practicing all week. The Rams could also be without DE William Hayes (ankle, questionable) and DT Michael Brockers (hip, questionable). Hayes joined Quinn on the sidelines all week, and Brockers was held out Thursday and Friday. Los Angeles will have to dig deep down the depth chart if all three sit.
Oct 7 - 9:25 PM

Rams RE Robert Quinn (back surgery) said he is not ready to go "full tilt."

"I’m not trying to rush it," Quinn said. "I just listen to the trainers. Whatever they allow me to do, I go out and do. But again, we’ve still got some time before they really let me go full tilt." Quinn has done some individual work during the offseason program, but he has not participated in team drills. Coming off a serious injury, it is possible Quinn is limited into training camp.

Jun 6 - 10:59 AM

Rams RE Robert Quinn (back surgery) is without a timetable for a return, and could miss the beginning of the offseason program.

Quinn is still less than a month removed from going under the knife, and the Rams have zero reason to rush their superstar pass rusher. Even if Quinn missed the entire offseason program, he should be ready for training camp.
Jan 4 - 3:27 PM

Rams placed RE Robert Quinn (back) on season-ending injured reserve.

Quinn will undergo surgery this week. He appeared in just eight games and had been sidelined since Week 10. Quinn will finish with 21 tackles and five sacks in a down season. The Rams will go with a combination of Eugene Sims and Matt Longacre opposite Chris Long. St. Louis' defense has collapsed in the absence of Quinn and WLB Alec Ogletree, going from one of the league's most imposing units to a thoroughly mediocre one.

Rams RE Robert Quinn (hip) is listed as doubtful for Week 13.

St. Louis' defense hasn't been the same in Quinn's absence. At the Edward Jones Dome, Carson Palmer has an above-average matchup against a Rams team that will also be without starting LCB Trumaine Johnson (thigh).

Rams RE Robert Quinn (hip) has been downgraded to out for Week 11 against the Ravens.

Quinn missed Week 9 and has struggled through hip and knee injuries over the last month. With Chris Long (knee) at best a game-time decision, the Rams defense is not the scary matchup it was earlier in the season. Justin Forsett is a sneaky DFS play this week.

Rams RE Robert Quinn (knee) and LE Chris Long (knee) are both listed as questionable for Week 11 against the Ravens.

Both truly look like game-time decisions whose effectiveness is in question, in addition to their playing statuses. The Rams are also badly missing WLB Alec Ogletree after getting torched by the Bears' RBs and TEs last week.
Fri, Nov 20, 2015 04:12:00 PM

Rams RE Robert Quinn admits his knee injury has been limiting his effectiveness.

Quinn tweaked his knee in Week 5, and has only one sack since. He's averaging just 27 snaps since getting injured, and sat out in Week 9. Quinn does claim he's feeling "better and better." The Rams need Quinn back at his normal effectiveness if they're to make a genuine push for a Wild Card spot.
