Bengals declared WR Greg Little, WR James Wright, QB A.J. McCarron, OL Tanner Hawkinson, OLB Emmanuel Lamur, and CB Chris Lewis-Harris inactive for Week 16 against the Broncos.
None are real surprises. Little is a healthy scratch. McCarron is sick. Lamur has a hamstring injury, and Wright is battling a knee problem. Dec 22 - 7:16 PM

Greg Little caught 1-of-4 targets for eight yards in Cincinnati's Week 10 loss to the Browns.

Seeking "revenge" against his former team, Little was instead limited to one garbage-time grab, which was thrown by backup Jason Campbell. Little was also the target on one of Andy Dalton's three picks, and committed a personal foul. Little remains a thoroughly-ineffective player.
Nov 7 - 12:35 AM

Greg Little secured 3-of-5 targets for 42 yards in the Bengals' Week 8 win over the Ravens.

Little contributed a handful of chain-moving receptions, taking over as Cincinnati's No. 2 receiver opposite Mohamed Sanu. This usage will be short lived as A.J. Green (toe) is due back in Week 9 against the Jaguars.
Oct 26 - 4:27 PM

Bengals signed WR Greg Little.

It's an indication the Bengals expect A.J. Green (toe) to miss Week 7, though it could also be related to the status of Marvin Jones (foot/ankle). Either way, Little will bring up the dregs of the Bengals' receiver corps after he couldn't crack the Raiders' 53-man roster this summer.
Oct 14 - 2:12 PM

Raiders waived WR Greg Little.

Little went into the final preseason game needing a big performance to beat out Brice Butler or Andre Holmes. He instead flopped, catching two passes for 10 yards and getting thrown at on an interception. Little, one of the bigger busts of the 2011 draft, has now been waived by two teams in the last four months.
Aug 30 - 3:14 PM

Greg Little caught one pass for six yards in Friday's preseason game against the Packers.

Little was Oakland's No. 4 receiver behind James Jones, Rod Streater and Denarius Moore. He got a few first-team reps on Friday, but predictably did very little with them. Through three preseason games, Little has three catches for 54 yards.
Aug 23 - 12:00 AM

Raiders claimed WR Greg Little off waivers from the Browns.

The 2011 second-rounder didn't make it past many teams on waivers. It's not surprising considering his draft pedigree and affordable $753,750 salary, but Little won't be assured of a roster spot for a team with a crowded, if unsettled, receiver corps. Little has been a massive disappointment despite ideal measurables (6-foot-2, 220 pounds, 4.51 speed), catching just 155 passes in three years while struggling with drops and mental mistakes. Little remains off the fantasy radar.
May 19 - 4:15 PM

The Charlotte Observer reports the Panthers have "discussed" free agent Greg Little but don't plan to put in a waiver claim on him.

Little was waived by the Browns on Friday and will very likely get claimed by someone before Monday at 4 PM ET. He has just one year left on his rookie deal at a meager $753,750. The Panthers seem content with Jerricho Cotchery, Kelvin Benjamin, and Jason Avant atop the depth chart. Little went to North Carolina.
May 18 - 10:30 AM

Browns waived WR Greg Little.

Even with Josh Gordon staring down a potential yearlong suspension and Nate Burleson rehabbing a broken arm, the Browns still give up on Little. The former second-round pick out of North Carolina was slated to earn just $753,750 in base salary, so the new regime must have really not liked him. Little has battled drops and mental mistakes during his short career but has the size (6-foot-2, 220) and speed (4.51 forty) teams covet. He has a good chance of being claimed on waivers. Little was part of the Browns' "haul" in the Julio Jones trade.
May 16 - 11:12 AM

The Cleveland Plain Dealer expects Greg Little to "be fighting for a roster spot" in 2014.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported in February that Little was "almost certainly" going to be released had Cleveland's old front office hung around. The Browns have three draft picks in the top 35, and we fully expect one to be devoted to a wide receiver. Cleveland has Josh Gordon locked in at X receiver and Andrew Hawkins in the slot, but no Z receiver (Little's old position).
May 4 - 3:40 PM

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Greg Little was "almost certainly going to be cut" by the old Browns regime.

Rapoport now reports Little "maybe" has a chance to play out the final year of his rookie contract. That's a couple of "almosts" and "maybes," so we truly have no idea what's in the cards for Little. All we know is that Little has been a colossal bust since being the 59th pick in 2011 and seems to be regressing. Little has already previously admitted he doesn't know what his future holds.
Feb 11 - 3:41 PM

Greg Little caught one pass for nine yards in Cleveland's Week 17 loss to the Steelers.

Little was out-targeted by Josh Cooper and Fozzy Whittaker as he closed the book on his worst season yet. Living up to his reputation as a drop machine, Little finishes 2013 with 41 catches for 465 yards and two touchdowns. An underachiever as a rookie in 2011, Little has regressed sharply in both seasons since. He's signed for just $753,750 in 2014, but even Little has admitted he might not be back.

Greg Little isn't sure if the Browns will want him back for the final year of his rookie contract.

It's not often that a former second-round pick's future is in doubt when he's scheduled to make just $753,750. But Little has been that bad throughout his time in Cleveland. Things appeared to reach a tipping point on Sunday as he dropped a pass in the end zone and was benched in favor of Brian Tyms.

Greg Little caught one pass for four yards in Week 16 versus the Jets.

Little was targeted four times, with two of them coming in the end zone. He flat-out dropped an eight-yard touchdown that hit him right in the hands in the back of the end zone in the first quarter and was benched in favor of Brian Tyms. Little continues to be a massive disappointment for the Browns.

Greg Little caught four passes for 68 yards in Sunday's Week 15 loss to the Bears.

Little's big play came early as he took a one-step hitch for 44 yards. After that, he just dinked and dunked with Jason Campbell and somehow ended up leading the Brown in receiving yards. Little, who hadn't topped two catches in any of his previous four games, won't be a fantasy option in Week 16.
