Bengals re-signed LG Clint Boling to a five-year, $26 million contract.
Rotoworld's No. 3 free-agent guard, Boling had been drawing interest from the Vikings and Jets. He's started 44 games for Cincinnati over the past three years, rebounding nicely from a torn ACL last season. Boling is an above-average run blocker who holds his own in the passing game. His return is good news for Hue Jackson's offense. The Bengals field one of the best offensive lines. Mar 10 - 8:29 PM

The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports the Vikings are making a "strong push" for free agent OG Clint Boling.

Boling is Rotoworld's No. 3 free agent guard. He'd be reuniting with Mike Zimmer in Minnesota, though Zimmer obviously didn't coach Boling's side of the ball in Cincinnati.

The Jets are expected to "actively pursue" the free agent guard market.

Orlando Franklin, Clint Boling, and James Carpenter are mentioned as potential targets. Stefen Wisniewski, Justin Blalock, and Todd Herremans are also free agents. The Jets arguably need new starters at both guard spots.

Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official website expects free agent LG Clint Boling to test the open market.

Boling has started 44-of-48 games the past three seasons. The former fourth-round pick out of Georgia turns 26 in May and should have a pretty solid market as our No. 3 free-agent guard available behind older veterans Mike Iupati and Orlando Franklin. Boling still is said to have interest in re-signing with Cincy.

There is mutual interest between free agent LG Clint Boling and the Bengals.

Boling started all 16 games for the Bengals last season, grading out as PFF's No. 19 guard among 78 qualifiers. He's Cincy's top free agent and our No. 5 guard available. The Enquirer calls this a deal that "can easily get done."

Bengals LG Clint Boling (knee) has been cleared for training camp.

Boling's rehab has been termed as "seamless" since he tore his ACL in Week 13. Barring a setback, he'll be the Bengals' starting left guard come Week 1. It's good news for both Cincinnati's run and pass games.

Bengals LG Clint Boling (knee) may be ready for the first day of training camp.

Boling's recovery from a Week 13 ACL tear has reportedly been "seamless." Even if he's not ready for day one, Boling should be ready to roll at some point during camp and suit up as the starting left guard come Week 1 at Baltimore.

Bengals LG Clint Boling (knee) is expected to be ready for Week 1.

Boling tore his ACL in Week 13. He's obviously not going to participate in OTAs or minicamp but could see action at some point during training camp. Tanner Hawkinson is expected to get the majority of the reps at left guard while Boling is sidelined. Boling is an above-average pass protector.

Bengals placed LG Clint Boling on injured reserve with a torn ACL, ending his season.

Boling suffered the injury during Sunday's win over San Diego. He graded out as a top-20 guard in Pro Football Focus' ratings prior to going down, but could struggle to get healthy in time for training camp next season. The Bengals re-signed OL Dennis Roland in a corresponding move to provide depth.

The injury occurred in Sunday's Week 13 win over San Diego. Boling has graded out as a top-20 guard in Pro Football Focus' 2013 ratings, receiving particularly high marks in pass protection. Mike Pollak is Boling's backup.

The Bengals felt comfortable releasing Travelle Wharton because Clint Boling has established himself as their starting left guard.

Boling, 24, replaced an injured Wharton at left guard last season and graded out as a top-11 guard in the entire league, per Pro Football Focus. Signed cheaply through 2014, Boling has proven to be a steal in the 2011 fourth round.

Bengals declared OG Clint Boling, CB Kelly Jennings, DB Robert Sands, LB Dantay Moch, OT Anthony Collins, TE Colin Cochart, and WR Ryan Whalen inactive for Week 5 against the Jaguars.

Boling won't suit up with veteran Bobbie Williams starting in his return from an early-season suspension. The Bengals' run blocking has exceeded expectations over the first month.

Bengals rookie RG Clint Boling was benched after one series in Sunday's loss to San Francisco.

The Bengals' opening drive was actually one of their better ones of the day, with Cedric Benson breaking three runs of four yards or longer to the right side. Boling was replaced by Mike McGlynn. A fourth-round pick, Boling was starting his third straight game in place of suspended Bobbie Williams. He could be shifted back to his natural position of tackle once Williams returns in Week 5.

Rookie Clint Boling will be the starting right guard in the Bengals' Week 1 game against the Browns.

"Boling is good. He’s really smart," insisted OL coach Paul Alexander. "We saw this on the horizon. He’s worked a lot with the ones." Boling played mostly tackle at Georgia, but has guard arm length at 33 1/4". He could hold his own in protection, but run blocking may be a different story right off the bat.
