Lance Kendricks was held without a catch on four targets in Los Angeles' Week 3 win over the Bucs.
One of Kendricks' missed connections was a should-have-been touchdown where he failed to get both feet down in bounds. Kendricks hasn't been threatened by rookie Tyler Higbee, but hasn't done nearly enough to warrant a TE2 roster spot in fantasy leagues. Sep 25 - 8:38 PM

Lance Kendricks caught 4-of-6 targets for 61 yards in the Rams' Week 2 win over the Seahawks.

With the Seahawks' linebackers keyed in on stopping Todd Gurley and the run game, Kendricks was able to find space to operate in the middle of the field. He could have had a 30-yard gain added to his line, but Kendricks was only able to get one foot in bounds. Kendricks is barley on the TE2 map.
Sep 18 - 7:49 PM

Lance Kendricks caught 2-of-3 targets for 15 yards in the Rams' Week 1 loss to the 49ers.

The pass that wasn't completed was thrown way behind Kendricks and resulted in a Case Keenum interception. Kendricks isn't on the fantasy radar heading into Week 2 against the Seahawks. He's more of a blocker.

Rams TE Lance Kendricks caught 3-of-3 targets for 36 yards in Saturday night's third preseason game.

Kendricks is the Rams' starting tight end, but rookie Tyler Higbee is coming hard after his job. While Kendricks' plus blocking ability should keep him active with the first-team offense, the Rams' shortage of passing volume as an offensive philosophy has Kendricks low on our list of TE2 targets.

ESPN Rams reporter Nick Wagoner believes TE Lance Kendricks could have a bigger role following the release of Jared Cook.

Never a dynamic receiving threat, Kendricks has averaged under 10 yards a reception each of the last three seasons. He is a solid blocker with some red-zone ability, but Kendricks is unlikely to find fantasy relevance in the Rams' run-heavy offense. Los Angeles should look to add a young receiving tight end.

Rams TE Lance Kendricks caught 5-of-5 targets for 37 yards in St. Louis' Week 17 loss to San Francisco.

Kendricks shared time with Jared Cook in 2015, finishing with a 25-245-2 receiving line. The Rams re-signed Kendricks to a four-year, $18.5 million contract last March, which was pretty head scratching. 28-year-old Kendricks can hold his own at times as a blocker, but offers next to nothing as a receiver.

Rams TE Lance Kendricks is week to week with a concussion.

The Rams' No. 2 tight end has 17 catches in 11 games this season.

Lance Kendricks (thumb) did not practice Wednesday.

Kendricks had thumb surgery during the bye week and appears unlikely to suit up Sunday against Cleveland.

Lance Kendricks is recovering from thumb surgery, and is questionable for Week 7.

According to coach Jeff Fisher, Kendricks has been playing hurt since Week 1. That could explain some of Kendricks' costly drops. He should be considered week to week, and will likely be back by Week 8.

Lance Kendricks took a slightly smaller offer to re-sign with the Rams rather than sign with the Falcons.

One of the reasons Kendricks stayed (at four years and $18.5M) was due to a promise of an expanded role in the passing game. We'll believe it when we see it, especially with Jared Cook still looming. Kendricks, whose value is more tied to versatility and blocking, is coming off a meager 27-259-5 campaign. The Falcons settled for cheapies Tony Moeaki and Jacob Tamme as free agent additions at tight end.

Rams re-signed TE Lance Kendricks to a four-year, $18.5 million contract.

It's a mild upset, as Kendricks has always been a disappointment as a pass catcher in St. Louis. He offers a big frame in the red zone, however, and is an adequate blocker. He's a more well-rounded player than Jared Cook. Kendricks will remain well off the fantasy radar in 2015.

The Falcons are expected to pursue free agent TE Lance Kendricks.

Kendricks can block and has some red-zone chops, though he isn't much of a "move" tight end. He would upgrade on Levine Toilolo under new Falcons OC Kyle Shanahan. Shanahan has a history of funneling targets to tight ends.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch thinks the Patriots could make a run at free agent TE Lance Kendricks.

Patriots OC Josh McDaniels was the play-caller in St. Louis when the Rams drafted Kendricks 47th overall in the 2011 draft and went as far to "pound the table" for him. It proved to be a significant reach, as Kendricks never developed into a pass-catching threat for the Rams. But he's a solid do-it-all tight end who could make for a solid running mate with Rob Gronkowski in New England.

Free agent TE Lance Kendricks is seeking $4 million annually.

A blocking and red-zone specialist, Kendricks had a 27/259/5 line as the No. 2 tight end behind Jared Cook last year. The Rams are fully expected to let him test the open market. Kendricks will be one of free agency's bigger overpays if teams are willing to meet his asking price.

Lance Kendricks caught one pass for 17 yards in the Rams' Week 17 loss to Seattle.

The Rams’ red-zone specialist and blocking tight end, Kendricks is a valuable piece. He knows how to get open at the goal line and can make the tough catches. But Kendricks isn’t a high-volume pass-game target. The Rams will likely try to re-sign Kendricks as a free agent. He’s not going to break the bank.
