He avoided trial by agreeing to the 12-month probation period. Reid was accused of head-butting, punching, and kicking a man during a March 9 dust-up at a Key West (FL) strip club. He is one of four Ravens players arrested during the offseason, joining Ray Rice, Lorenzo Taliaferro, and Deonte Thompson.

Ravens G/T Jah Reid pleaded not guilty to two charges of misdemeanor battery stemming from his March 9 arrest at a Key West strip club.

Reid is accused of head butting, punching, and kicking a man following an argument. It's believed the man "bumped into" Reid at the strip club. Reid, who is 6-foot-7, 340 pounds with 34 1/4-inch arms, also wound up punching security guards, per the police report. On the field, 25-year-old Reid has been a disappointment as the 85th overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft.

Ravens G/T Jah Reid's early Sunday morning arrest was a result of a fight at a Key West strip club.

Key West police are describing Reid as the aggressor. According to the arrest affidavit, security footage shows a man bumping into Reid, which triggered an argument. He allegedly charged the man and head-butted him, followed by the NFL player punching the man and causing him to fall to the ground, according to the affidavit. Reid allegedly began kicking the man once he was on the ground. The 6'7/340 reserve lineman also allegedly punched a security guard in the face.

Ravens G/T Jah Reid was arrested on two misdemeanor charges of battery in Key West, Fla. early Sunday morning.

Reid, 25, was booked at 3:14 AM. No other details are known, but that makes three Ravens to be arrested the past month. Reid joins WR Deonte Thompson and Ray Rice. The 2011 third-rounder played just 23 offensive snaps in 2013.

Reid landed on injured reserve during the playoffs, and was promptly Wally Pipped by Kelechi Osemele, who is now locked in as the Ravens' left guard. Reid should serve as the Ravens' top reserve interior lineman this season.

Ravens LG Jah Reid (toe, injured reserve) underwent surgery on Tuesday, but expects to be ready for OTAs.

"It's a good prognosis, I'll be ready for minicamps definitely," Reid said. "I just started a three-month rehab. I don't know exactly when it's going to be. I'll be fine for next season." Coming off an up-and-down sophomore campaign, Reid won't be guaranteed a starting job next summer.

Reid was inactive last week, as the Ravens offensive line played one of its best games of the year with Bryant McKinnie at left tackle and Kelechi Osemele at left guard. The Ravens wanted Reid to run with the starting job, but he's not yet one of the team's best five linemen. He may have to compete for a starting job in training camp. CB Asa Jackson was activated from suspension in a corresponding move.

Jah Reid has ousted veteran Bobbie Williams as the Ravens' starting left guard.

Reid has been a liability in three starts, committing three penalties, allowing six QB pressures and two more QB hits. The Ravens will give their 2011 third-rounder a chance to turn it around, but they have to turn back to Williams for the playoffs.
