Raiders backup FB/TE Richard Gordon suffered a broken hand against the Patriots in Week 4.
Gordon played through the injury with Marcel Reece out last week, but he's not practicing this week. Reece remains sidelined as well, so the Raiders are reviewing their options. Raiders agreed to terms with sixth-round TE Richard Gordon on a four-year deal.

Gordon will fall in line behind Zach Miller (once he's re-signed) and Brandon Myers. There's not much upside here despite Gordon's 6'3/267 frame.

Raiders selected Miami TE Richard Gordon with the No. 181 overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft.

Gordon possesses great size at 6-foot-3, 267 pounds, but was known as an under-achiever at Miami. He has decent speed and is a capable blocker, but his ceiling is probably that of a third tight end.
