Known as a hard-hitter at the University of Montana, Wilson could make an impact on special teams this season if he indeed makes the team. If he eventually earns playing time on defense, the Dolphins have projected him as a safety after he played cornerback in college.

He's small for the position at 5-foot-11, 193, but the Dolphins believe Wilson is a physical enough player to hold up "inside." Most likely, Wilson is headed for the practice squad after the lockout stalled his development.

Wilson is likely the only prospect in the draft to spend 25 months behind bars before being acquitted of murder charges. Three years passed between his junior and senior seasons, where he switched to safety from cornerback. Known as a hard-hitter, his future is likely on special teams.
