Colts acquired FB Stanley Havili from the Eagles in exchange for DE Clifton Geathers.
Eagles coach Chip Kelly doesn't use the fullback, instead putting his tight ends in the backfield. He'll do that with James Casey. The Colts are implementing a West Coast offense under rookie coordinator Pep Hamilton, and Havili has a versatile fullback's skill set. 25 years old, Havili is a strong lead blocker with soft hands, even if his receiving stats aren't great. Eagles FB Stanley Havili left Thursday night's game against the Bengals with a hamstring injury.

Havili never made the trip out of the locker room to start the second half and is doubtful to return. Recently promoted TE Emil Igwenagu can play some fullback.

LeSean McCoy rushed 12 times for 88 yards when FB Stanley Havili was on the field in Week 4.

The Eagles rarely use a fullback, but they found something that was working against the Giants and stuck with it. Havili was a beast on kick-out blocks as McCoy ran right up his back. It's a good sign for the Eagles' running game going forward. McCoy, who has just one touchdown on the year, is due for a breakout game.

Eagles signed No. 240 overall pick FB Stanley Havili to a four-year contract.

Havili is highly unlikely to beat out Owen Schmitt after failing to get a chance in offseason workouts. He's a practice squad candidate even with Leonard Weaver likely out for the season.

Seventh-round FB Stanley Havili slid in the draft due to post-season shoulder surgery.

Havili may be fighting an uphill battle to beat out Owen Schmnitt for a roster spot. He showed fine pass-catching skills at USC, but he's going to have to bulk up a bit and improve his blocking skills to avoid the practice squad as a rookie.

Eagles drafted USC FB Stanley Havili with the No. 240 overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft.

A four-year starter lead blocking for the likes of Joe McKnight and Allen Bradford, Havili is athletic if undersized. A prototypical West Coast offense fullback, Havili is a much more effective receiver than blocker. With Leonard Weaver's future in doubt, Havili could make the roster as a rookie.
