Dontrelle Inman caught 2-of-5 targets for 49 yards and touchdown in the Chargers' Week 13 loss to the Bucs.
Now playing ahead of Travis Benjamin, Inman starred early in this game with both of his catches coming in the first quarter, including a 35-yard touchdown where Bucs CB Alterraun Verner fell down on the play. Inman has moved past Travis Benjamin on the depth chart and is now San Diego's No. 2 wideout behind Tyrell Williams. Inman will be a fringe WR3/4 in Week 14 at Carolina. Dec 4 - 7:41 PM

Dontrelle Inman was cleared of a concussion after leaving late in the fourth quarter Week 12 against the Texans.

Inman was not placed in the protocol. It is a break for the Chargers, who also saw Tyrell Williams leave late with a shoulder injury. If Williams' injury turns out to be serious, Inman could end up serving as the No. 1 receiver over Travis Benjamin after exploding for 119 yards and a touchdown against the Texans. He should be a hot name on the wire this week.
Nov 27 - 4:42 PM

Dontrelle Inman exited Week 12 against the Texans late in the fourth quarter with a possible concussion.

Inman had a great game before exiting, hauling in all six of his targets for 119 yards and a touchdown. He broke open what had been a limited passing game with a great double-move to shed Quintin Demps on a 52-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Inman stayed involved after the break, catching a perfectly thrown ball by Philip Rivers in the third quarter and converting a big third down in the fourth. With Tyrell Williams also leaving the game late with an arm injury, the Chargers could be in trouble at receiver next week against the Bucs.
Nov 27 - 4:08 PM

Dontrelle Inman caught 5-of-9 targets for 43 yards Week 10 against the Dolphins.

Inman had a solid if not spectacular day. He came up with several big grabs late in the game to keep drives alive, and he drew three penalties. Two of those converted third downs, and the other set San Diego up with first-and-goal at the one. Inman's fantasy value will depend on Travis Benjamin's (knee) health coming out of the bye. Even in a tough matchup, he will have WR3 appeal if Benjamin sits.
Nov 13 - 8:02 PM

Dontrelle Inman caught 6-of-9 targets for 56 yards in the Chargers' Week 9 win over the Titans.

The Chargers' slot man was forced to play a bigger role due to Travis Benjamin's recurring knee injury, which sidelined Benjamin in the second half. Inman isn't necessarily a big-play receiver, but he is a trusted target for Philip Rivers and will be worth WR3/flex consideration if Benjamin can't play against Miami in Week 10. Inman now has 55-plus yards in three straight games.
Nov 6 - 8:08 PM

Dontrelle Inman caught 4-of-7 targets for 72 yards in the Chargers' Week 8 loss to the Broncos.

Inman's highlight-reel catch went for 37 yards down the right sideline in a critical second-half moment. Inman hasn't put much in the box score on a consistent basis, but he logs a ton of snaps at slot receiver in San Diego's offense and can pop off at a moment's notice. Still, he will be a shaky WR3/flex option when the Chargers take on the Titans next.
Oct 30 - 8:08 PM

Dontrelle Inman caught 3-of-6 targets for 58 yards in the Chargers' Week 7 win over the Falcons.

The yards were Inman's second most of the season. Inman is a full-time member of the Chargers' pass catcher rotation, but it isn't translating to fantasy value. Even in PPR, he can't be trusted as a WR5.
Oct 23 - 8:15 PM

Dontrelle Inman caught his lone target for 11 yards in San Diego's Week 6 win over the Broncos.

The Chargers' slot man has two catches for 14 yards over his past two games. There will be the occasional blowup, but owners won't see them coming in standard leagues, where he's best left on the waiver wire.
Oct 14 - 12:48 AM

Dontrelle Inman caught 1-of-3 targets for three yards in the Chargers' Week 5 loss to the Raiders.

With Antonio Gates (hamstring) back in the lineup, Inman was a non-factor after his Week 4 explosion (7-120-1) against the pathetic Saints. It'll surely go down as Inman's best game of the season. Inman doesn't need to be rostered outside of 14-team PPR leagues. He's more of a WR5/6.
Oct 9 - 8:33 PM

Dontrelle Inman caught 7-of-11 targets for 120 yards and a touchdown in the Chargers' Week 4 loss to the Saints.

Inman entered the game with just five catches for 45 yards through three games, but he exploded with Travis Benjamin and Tyrell Williams struggling to get anything going in the first half. Inman’s touchdown came on broken coverage by New Orleans, but he did break a tackle before outrunning the defense for the 57-yard score. He also drew a DPI in the end zone to set up the Chargers’ fourth-quarter touchdown, but he dropped what would have been a third-down conversion on the final drive of the game. The ball might have been tipped, but it was still a terrible play at a crucial moment. Inman is still likely behind Benjamin and Williams on the depth chart, but he is worth an add in deeper leagues. The Chargers have another good matchup next week against the Raiders.
Oct 2 - 8:10 PM

Dontrelle Inman caught 3-of-4 targets for 32 yards in the Chargers' Week 3 loss to the Colts.

Inman did all of his damage in the first half, leading the team in receiving at the break. After halftime, Tyrell Williams took over with 6-69 to lead the Bolts. Inman is a tough sell as an add in 12- and 14-team leagues.
Sep 25 - 8:28 PM

Dontrelle Inman caught 1-of-3 targets for seven yards Week 2 against the Jaguars.

Inman worked with the first-team with Keenan Allen sidelined, but he appeared to be behind both Travis Benjamin and Tyrell Williams in the pecking order. He does not have value outside of deep PPR formats.
Sep 18 - 8:09 PM

Chargers re-signed WR Dontrelle Inman to a one-year, $600,000 contract.

Inman was an exclusive rights free agent. Forced into heavy snaps by the Chargers' biblical wave of receiver injuries last season, Inman ended up catching 35 passes. He shouldn't open 2016 higher than No. 4 on the depth chart.
Mar 9 - 5:09 PM

Dontrelle Inman caught 3-of-6 targets for 25 yards in the Chargers' Week 17 loss to the Broncos.

Inman took on an increased role when Keenan Allen went on injured reserve after lacerating his kidney in Week 8. Inman was elevated to the No. 3 receiver, but was mostly the No. 2 because both Stevie Johnson and Malcom Floyd missed games over the second half of the year. Inman finished with a 35-486-3 line and should earn a longer look next season with Floyd set to retire. He could take over Floyd's role on the outside, but Inman would certainly face competition for the gig.
Jan 4 - 1:45 AM

Dontrelle Inman caught 8-of-13 targets for 82 yards and a touchdown in the Chargers' Week 16 loss to the Raiders.

On a night where he was the Bolts' leading receiver, Inman also played some defense, spending time at safety for San Diego's injury-ravaged secondary. With Stevie Johnson set to return and the Bolts traveling to Denver for their 2015-16 finale, Inman will be off the fantasy radar for Week 17.
