Dontrelle Inman caught 3-of-6 targets for 25 yards in the Chargers' Week 17 loss to the Broncos.
Inman took on an increased role when Keenan Allen went on injured reserve after lacerating his kidney in Week 8. Inman was elevated to the No. 3 receiver, but was mostly the No. 2 because both Stevie Johnson and Malcom Floyd missed games over the second half of the year. Inman finished with a 35-486-3 line and should earn a longer look next season with Floyd set to retire. He could take over Floyd's role on the outside, but Inman would certainly face competition for the gig. Jan 4 - 1:45 AM

Dontrelle Inman caught 8-of-13 targets for 82 yards and a touchdown in the Chargers' Week 16 loss to the Raiders.

On a night where he was the Bolts' leading receiver, Inman also played some defense, spending time at safety for San Diego's injury-ravaged secondary. With Stevie Johnson set to return and the Bolts traveling to Denver for their 2015-16 finale, Inman will be off the fantasy radar for Week 17.

Dontrelle Inman caught 3-of-5 targets for 78 yards in the Chargers' Week 15 win over the Dolphins.

Inman made an impact between the twenties on chunk-yardage gains. With Malcom Floyd playing ineffectively and Stevie Johnson showing no signs of overcoming his groin injury, Inman figures to remain the top bet for production in San Diego's wideout corps next week against the Raiders.

Dontrelle Inman (neck) is listed as probable for Week 15.

He'll get the start against Miami's sieve-like pass defense. With Malcom Floyd struggling mightily and Antonio Gates running like a dad, Inman is a sneaky long-shot bet to lead the Chargers in targets against the Fins.

Dontrelle Inman (neck) is practicing in full for Week 15.

Inman is ready to start opposite Malcom Floyd against the Dolphins. Although Miami has one of the worst secondaries in the league, Inman still can't be trusted as more than a low-end WR4.

Chargers WR Dontrelle Inman (neck) returned to practice Wednesday.

Stevie Johnson (groin) remained sidelined. Inman has a chance to return against the Dolphins and could potentially start opposite Malcom Floyd. The Chargers started Javontee Herndon opposite Floyd in last Sunday's loss to Kansas City. Herndon caught five balls for 47 yards on seven targets.

Dontrelle Inman (neck) is out for Week 14 against the Chiefs.

Inman is still recovering from a neck injury suffered Sunday against Denver. Malcom Floyd and Javontee Herndon will lead the Chargers' patchwork receiving corps in Week 14. Philip Rivers won't be a recommended fantasy option this week.

Dontrelle Inman (neck) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice.

Inman was stretchered off Sunday against Denver but was able to avoid a serious injury. He's a longshot to play this week. With Stevie Johnson (groin) also banged up, Javontee Herndon will likely start opposite Malcom Floyd against Kansas City. Injuries have decimated the Chargers' offense this year.

Dontrelle Inman (neck) did not practice Wednesday.

He escaped Week 13 with just a neck strain after being stretchered off the field, but Inman looks to be questionable at best for Sunday against the Chiefs. With Stevie Johnson (groin) also hurt, the Chargers will merely have to piece a receiving corps together. Philip Rivers will be tough to start.

Dontrelle Inman (neck) emerged with only a day-to-day injury after being stretchered off in Week 13.

Chargers coach Mike McCoy deemed Inman's injury a neck strain. It's a sliver of good news in a season where San Diego's roster has been decimated by injuries, particularly on the offensive line and in the pass-catcher corps. Inman's status for Week 14 against Kansas City remains up in the air.

Chargers coach Mike McCoy said tests came back negative on Dontrelle Inman's neck.

Inman had to be stretchered off the field in the first quarter against Denver, but he has movement in all his extremities and has already been released from the hospital. This is obviously great news, but his recovery timetable is still unknown. His status will be updated by Wednesday at the latest. San Diego also lost Stevie Johnson to a groin injury, continuing one of the worst runs of injury luck in the league.

Dontrelle Inman (neck) was stretchered off the field in Sunday's Week 13 game against the Broncos.

Inman went down midway through the first quarter and appears highly unlikely to return after being attached to a backboard. The Chargers will likely use more two-tight end sets for the rest of the game.
Sun, Dec 6, 2015 04:39:00 PM

Dontrelle Inman caught 5-of-9 targets for 65 yards and one touchdown in the Chargers' Week 12 win over the Jaguars.

Even with Malcom Floyd (shoulder) active, Inman was the bigger part of the offense, trailing only Stevie Johnson (10) in targets. Floyd will be a rotational player the remainder of the season, as he tries to play through the torn labrum in his shoulder. Inman kicked the scoring off with a two-year touchdown early in the second quarter. He'll be a WR4 next week against the elite Broncos.

Dontrelle Inman snared three of five targets for 51 yards in the Chargers' Week 11 loss to the Chiefs.

Inman had San Diego’s longest gain of the afternoon, a 27-yard catch-and-run in the fourth quarter. Unfortunately he also committed an unforgiveable drop late in the third quarter on a play where no one else was near him. It looked like he just took his eye off the ball. With Keenan Allen gone for the year and Malcom Floyd’s status in doubt, the opportunities will be there for Inman. He’ll face the Jaguars in Week 12.
Sun, Nov 22, 2015 08:30:00 PM

Dontrelle Inman will be the Chargers No. 2 receiver this week.

With Keenan Allen (kidney) out for the season and Malcom Floyd (shoulder) likely to join him soon, Inman and Stevie Johnson will serve as the top two receivers for the foreseeable future. "We talk about it all the time," Inman said. "We’ve got to carry the load. We’re going to go out there and give it our all. Expect the best game out of both of us." Inman recorded back-to-back 79-yard games to close out last season, but he struggled when thrust into a bigger role before the bye this year. Against a Kansas City defense playing better as of late, Inman is nothing more than a WR3 in PPR leagues this week, but he could develop into a usable fantasy asset down the stretch.
