Jets signed WR Vidal Hazelton to a reserve/future contract.
When we last checked in on Hazelton, he was signing a reserve/future deal with the Bengals last January. The third-year undrafted free agent has never appeared in an NFL game, and is unlikely to do so in 2013. Jan 23 - 4:02 PM

Vidal Hazelton - WR - Jets

Bengals signed WR Vidal Hazelton, FB James Develin, LB DeQuin Evans, LB Micah Johnson, CB Rico Murray, T Matthew O'Donnell, and QB Zac Robinson to reserve/future contracts.

These players spent most or all of the 2011 season on Cincinnati's practice squad. Hazelton is an undrafted rookie out of the University of Cincinnati. Johnson and Evans are both thumping, two-down middle linebacker prospects.

Vidal Hazelton - WR - Jets

Chargers waived WR Vidal Hazelton.

Hazelton was considered a mid-to-late round prospect coming out of Cincinnati, but he ended up going undrafted. He lost out to Seyi Ajirotutu and special teamer Richard Goodman. Fellow undrafted WRs Travon Patterson and Cameron Kenney were also waived along with OG Michael Huey and CB Stephen Harrison.
