The Redskins are expected to start undrafted rookie Willie Smith at left tackle in Sunday's game against the Giants.

They'll have Tyler Polumbus at right tackle against a fearsome Giants pass rush. While Jason Pierre-Paul is likely to bolster his Defensive Player of the Year resume on Sunday, we'd have serious reservations about the Redskins' passing game. NFL Films' Greg Cosell described Smith as a "waist bender" with technique issues on this week's Yahoo.com Shutdown Corner podcast. The winds are blowing toward a turnover-filled day for Rex Grossman.

The Redskins may be forced to start undrafted rookie Willie Smith at right tackle in Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

It's a scary situation with Rex Grossman at quarterback, and DeMarcus Ware and Anthony Spencer on the other team. RT Jammal Brown hinted Friday that his groin is torn. "It ain’t really about sucking it up," Brown said. "If you’ve got a tear, you’ve got a tear." The Cowboys' defense is a recommended Week 11 play.
