Brian Quick wasn't targeted in the Rams' Week 11 loss to the Ravens.
After seeing a team-high seven looks last week, Quick barely played on Sunday. It's become a guessing game. Quick can be left on waiver wires. Nov 22 - 5:30 PM

Brian Quick caught 1-of-7 targets for 37 yards in the Rams' Week 10 loss to the Bears.

The targets were a team-high, but Nick Foles' inaccuracy played a big role in Quick not having a more productive day. We also wouldn't read too much into Quick's seven targets; this offense can't support many pass catchers, and the snaps out wide in St. Louis are too much of a mess at this time.
Nov 15 - 6:27 PM

Brian Quick failed to catch his lone target in the Rams' Week 7 win over the Browns.

Quick actually caught the pass, but previously ran out of bounds before coming back in to make the grab. It was an illegal play that wiped out a 30-plus-yard gain. Quick has some serious depth chart climbing to do in St. Louis.

Brian Quick caught 1-of-3 targets for 10 yards in the Rams' Week 5 loss to the Packers.

Quick played only six snaps in his 2015 debut last week, but was more involved today. Unfortunately, he failed to make an impact, with one of his missed connections being a truly dreadful drop. Quick jumped for no reason, screwing up his hands and timing. Quick's other look was a deep shot to the back of the end zone, but there was a ton of contact on a play where the refs refused to throw a flag. In theory, Quick continues to offer upside as a WR5 stash in 12-14 team leagues, but the Rams' "passing attack" is so anemic, he's not a must hold, even as he finally begins to play.
Oct 11 - 5:16 PM

Rams WR Brian Quick is active for Week 5 against the Packers.

Quick should see more than the six snaps he played in his Week 4 debut, but he remains off the starting radar for the time being. Inactive for the Rams are WLB Alec Ogletree, QB Sean Mannion, S Maurice Alexander, LB Jo-Lonn Dunbar, OT Darrell Williams, OG Cody Wichmann and DT Ethan Westbrooks.
Oct 11 - 11:33 AM

Brian Quick played six snaps in Sunday's win over the Cardinals.

It remains a bit of a mystery why the Rams are taking things so slow with a player who was their best receiver before injuring his shoulder last season, but his role can obviously only increase. Quick should eventually have value in 12-14 team leagues.
Oct 5 - 2:20 PM

Brian Quick wasn't targeted in the Rams' Week 4 win over the Cardinals.

Active for the first time this season, we could probably count Quick's snaps on one hand. Being active was the first step, but now he has to carve out an offensive role sitting behind Kenny Britt, Tavon Austin, and Stedman Bailey on the depth chart. Quick isn't yet worthy of adding or holding in 12-team leagues.
Oct 4 - 8:42 PM

Rams coach Jeff Fisher said Brian Quick will play Sunday against the Cardinals.

Quick hasn't played since suffering a torn rotator cuff last season, though we're not convinced the shoulder injury had anything to do with his absence during the first three weeks. Regardless of why Fisher has kept Quick under wraps, he's back now and should breathe life into a Rams receiving corps that desperately needs it. Unfortunately for Quick, he gets a tough matchup right out of the gate against a red-hot Cardinals squad.
Oct 2 - 3:16 PM

Coach Jeff Fisher said there's a "chance" Brian Quick will be active Week 4 against the Cardinals.

If Fisher was smart, which we're not sure he is, Quick will be on the field playing meaningful snaps at receiver. When you're as bad as the Rams are on offense, it's time to quit worrying about how much Chris Givens, Stedman Bailey, and Bradley Marquez bring on special teams and start worrying about scoring points. Givens and Marquez bring nothing to the offense. Quick is the most talented receiver on the roster, yet is being held back for unknown reasons.
Sep 28 - 6:44 PM

Rams WR Brian Quick is a healthy scratch for Week 3.

Quick just can't get up to speed after missing essentially the entire offseason and summer. He should be back before the Rams' Week 6 bye.
Sep 27 - 11:45 AM

Brian Quick said he's "just being patient" and trying to "get the feel back" after missing so much time with his shoulder injury.

"I just missed a lot last year," Quick said. "I’ve still got to get the flow of things. I did camp, but I did it with the yellow (no contact) hat and defense wasn’t able to tackle me or hit me, no contact." Quick also played 30 snaps across two preseason games, but wasn't targeted. Rams receivers have done next to nothing through two games. Quick deserves to be out there on game day.
Sep 25 - 10:12 AM

Rams coach Jeff Fisher confirms Brian Quick is "physically able to play."

Fisher said Quick hasn't been ruled out for Week 3 after being a "healthy scratch" in Weeks 1 and 2. Quick is behind in his conditioning after missing nearly all of the offseason and camp as he recovered from shoulder surgery, but it's time for the Rams to see what their best receiver can do. Nick Foles needs someone who can make plays down the field.
Sep 22 - 7:38 PM

Brian Quick is inactive for Week 2 against the Redskins.

He was a healthy scratch in Week 1 and is again this Sunday. Quick hasn't been on the injury report each of the past two weeks following a long rehab from 2014 shoulder surgery. The Rams will start Kenny Britt and Tavon Austin at receiver with Stedman Bailey as the No. 3. Also inactive for the Rams are QB Sean Mannion, RB Chase Reynolds, OG Cody Wichmann, and DE Eugene Sims.
Sep 20 - 11:42 AM

Coach Jeff Fisher said Brian Quick is "just going to have to be patient" before returning to the game-day roster.

"He’s coming," Fisher continued. "He’s missed a lot of time. He’s coming." It doesn't sound like Quick will be active Week 2, either, after being a scratch for Week 1. Quick is no longer on the injury report following 2014 shoulder surgery that required a long, slow rehab, but he apparently isn't ready for games. He's no longer a must-keep in redraft leagues for owners that need immediate help.
Sep 16 - 9:52 AM

Coach Jeff Fisher said Brian Quick was a healthy scratch Week 1 against the Seahawks.

Fisher said it was "numbers related", not "physically related." In other words, Quick isn't a top-five receiver in St. Louis at the moment, as he's behind Kenny Britt, Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey, Chris Givens, and special teamer Bradley Marquez. Quick wasn't on the Week 1 injury report following last year's shoulder surgery, but the initial feeling was the Rams wanted to give him more time to recover after bringing him along slow over the summer. Quick needs more reps in practice with the No. 1 offense. He's no longer a must-keep in redraft.
