Brian Quick caught seven passes for 74 yards in the Rams' Week 2 win over the Bucs.
Quick was once again the clear No. 1 receiver for the Rams, seeing a team-high nine targets for the second consecutive week. He could have had a bigger day if he'd made a play on a deep ball in the second half. But Quick is up to 14-173-0 on 18 targets through the first two weeks. The St. Louis offense can only support one receiver, and it's looking like it'll be Quick. He's a WR4. Sep 14 - 9:01 PM

Brian Quick caught seven passes for 99 yards in the Rams' Week 1, 34-6 blowout loss to the Vikings.

Quick was targeted nine times, and was the lone Rams player on the field to show up for this one. He was making it look easy from the start, catching 23- and 19-yard passes on deep in routes early on. Quick also had a 20-yard catch-and-run nullified by his own silliness; an offensive face mask penalty. Reports were glowing on Quick all summer, and he backed them up in the opener. Unfortunately, the Rams have major quarterback problems. It'll be hard to trust Quick as anything more than a WR4. St. Louis goes to Tampa next week.

ESPN Rams reporter Nick Wagoner says Brian Quick has "put together the best training camp of his young career."

Wagoner has been on the Rams' beat for each of Quick's first three years. He believes the Rams "have to be encouraged by his consistency in camp and preseason." A third-year wide receiver breakout candidate, Quick just turned 25. He caught 4-of-6 targets for 47 yards and a touchdown in Saturday night's third preseason game, and is very much worth a flier late in fantasy drafts.

Starting opposite Kenny Britt, Brian Quick caught 4-of-6 targets for 47 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason game against the Browns.

Quick got the start opposite Kenny Britt and made the most of it, drawing targets on three of the Rams' first five plays. Quick was creating his own space, and on the same page with Sam Bradford. The lowlight was a borderline drop on a potential touchdown, but Quick bounced back to burn first-rounder Justin Gilbert for a score on the next drive. The bad news is, Bradford went down with a knee injury, but Quick's score was tossed by backup Shaun Hill. Quick now has five grabs for 88 yards and a touchdown through three preseason games. It would be premature to say the switch has flipped, but there's light at the end of the tunnel. You could do worse for a late-round flier.

Sam Bradford has noticed a "night and day" difference with Brian Quick this year compared to his first two seasons in the league.

"He’s always been tremendously talented, but I think we’re starting to see him really put everything together," Bradford continued. Coach Jeff Fisher chimed in, "I believe that he’s crossed the line now." Quick has consistently been running with the first-team offense all summer opposite Kenny Britt, and could be primed for a third-year breakout. He's currently going undrafted in 12-team leagues.

Brian Quick failed to reel in his lone target in Friday night's preseason opener against the Saints.

Quick was the starter opposite Kenny Britt, though, and saw plenty of run with the starting offense. Britt has the edge for No. 1 duties, while Quick and sophomore Stedman Bailey fight for the No. 2 role. Working in Quick's favor is that Bailey is suspended for the first four games of the season. We hope to see more from Quick this preseason, especially with all of the training camp hype.
Aug 8 - 11:38 PM

The Rams are hoping Brian Quick is "ready to make a leap forward" this season.

Quick has just 29 catches, 458 yards, and four touchdowns since the Rams took him 33rd overall in 2012. He's getting the majority of first-team reps opposite Kenny Britt and could push for the starting X-receiver role. Quick is entering his third season, where receivers traditionally make their biggest statistical leap. The Rams believe his size-speed combo could finally translate into production, and project to field a more competent passing game with Sam Bradford returning. Quick is a post-hype sleeper worth monitoring in deeper leagues.
Aug 1 - 6:19 PM

The Rams have been "very encouraged" by the play of third-year WR Brian Quick through the opening week of training camp.

Phil Savage, the Senior Bowl director and former Browns GM, visited Rams camp Tuesday and came away impressed with Quick. Rams coaches believe the production is finally matching Quick's raw speed-size combo. Quick is getting a ton of first-team reps, along with Kenny Britt, and appears to be putting his game together. Quick (6'3/218) has 4.50 wheels and was drawing Terrell Owens comps when the Rams took him 33rd overall in 2012.
Jul 30 - 10:54 PM

Rams OC Brian Schottenheimer called third-year WR Brian Quick the "most improved player I've seen" at OTAs.

"He’s competing for playing time," Schottenheimer said. "He’s made the most of his opportunities." Quick is becoming a bit of a summer superstar in shorts and t-shirts. It didn't translate to the field last season, and we're not taking the bait this year until he proves it in September. With Kenny Britt, a similar player to Quick, now in the fold, Quick's snaps may be even harder to come by in 2014. Quick has mostly been a red-zone-only option since being the No. 33 overall pick in 2012.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch expects Brian Quick's playing time to suffer most if the Kenny Britt signing works out.

In two seasons since getting selected 33rd overall, Quick has totaled just 29 catches for 458 yards and four touchdowns. And like Britt, he's a big-bodied outside wideout that profiles as an "X" receiver. If Britt's knee is right and his head is on straight, Quick may not even get the 361 snaps he saw in 2013.
Apr 2 - 8:11 AM

GM Les Snead said he doesn't think the Rams need another receiver.

Tavon Austin led all Rams receivers with just 40 grabs in 2013, and Chris Givens (34 catches) / Austin Pettis (38) project as complementary receivers down the line. That leaves the 6'4/220 Brian Quick as the only real candidate to develop into a go-to wideout on the outside. We haven't seen any real signs of that yet, but Snead appears confident in his corps. "I think our receivers right now, I truly believe as they progress ... we cannot have another receiver around here," he said. "And we're going to be a good football team." The Rams hold the Nos. 2 and 13 overall picks in the draft.
Jan 20 - 12:06 PM

Brian Quick was held without a catch on one target in the Rams' Week 17 loss to the Seahawks.

The 33rd pick in the 2012 draft, Quick is the most talented of St. Louis' receivers but the light has yet to flip on for the mild-mannered Appalachian Stat alum. Quick ends his second NFL season with 18 receptions for 302 yards and two touchdowns. The Rams have publicly compared Quick to Vincent Jackson, who similarly began his career slowly. We like Quick's Dynasty upside, but he's clearly not yet been ready for prime time. He'll be a late-round flier in 2014 re-draft leagues.

Brian Quick caught three passes for 41 yards and one touchdown in Week 13 against the 49ers.

Quick saw four targets on the day, with him mostly getting his action in garbage time. That's when the touchdown came. Quick reeled in a three-yard touchdown on a fade pass with 18 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Quick remains intriguing in dynasty formats, but he's not on the re-draft radar.

Brian Quick caught two passes for 19 yards in St. Louis' Week 12 win over the Bears.

Quick's grabs were his only two targets of the afternoon. Still incapable of anything more than bit duty in the Rams' newly run-based offense, Quick has yet to catch more than two passes in a game this season, and has only 13 grabs on the year. Patience is likely wearing thin in the Rams' front office.

Brian Quick caught two balls for 30 yards in the Rams' Week 9 loss to the Titans.

Quick outproduced Austin Pettis (1-13), behind whom he's played all season. Quick remains an intriguing long-term talent, but he's the Rams' No. 4 receiver behind Pettis, Chris Givens, and Tavon Austin in a Kellen Clemens-quarterbacked offense. Quick is only worth owning in Dynasty leagues.
