ESPN Redskins reporter John Keim left Brian Quick out of his listed top-six receivers at minicamp.
Keim listed Ryan Grant No. 4, Maurice Harris No. 5, and rookie Robert Davis No. 6 behind the top three of Terrelle Pryor, Jamison Crowder, and Josh Doctson. Quick signed a one-year, $855,000 deal in March, receiving a mere $80,000 signing bonus. Quick will not be guaranteed a spot on the 53-man roster. Jun 14 - 8:31 PM

Redskins signed WR Brian Quick, formerly of the Rams, to a one-year contract.

The Rams reached for Quick at No. 33 overall in the 2012 draft, and it took him years to figure out the pro game coming out of small-school Appalachian State. Rams staffers were comparing him to Vincent Jackson and Terrell Owens coming out of college. Obviously, those comps never materialized, but Quick has good size at 6'3/218 and has a strong 14.3 career YPR average. Quick figures to slide in as the No. 4 receiver as long as Josh Doctson is healthy.

Brian Quick reeled in two-of-seven targets for 15 yards Sunday in the Rams' Week 17 loss to the Cardinals.

Quick set career-highs in every receiving category this year while settling in as the Rams’ No. 3 wideout. He’s a passable complementary receiver but nothing more. Quick will hit the market as a free agent this offseason.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Brian Quick needs one catch and one receiving yard Week 17 against the Cardinals to reach two separate incentives in his contract.

The catch will net him $150,000 for reaching 40 for the season, and the yard will get him $125,000 for breaking the 550-yard barrier. With Kenny Britt out, Quick should reach both milestones, but he is still not a viable fantasy play against the Cardinals.

Brian Quick was held without a catch on four targets Saturday in the Rams' Week 16 loss to the 49ers.

He was the intended target on Jared Goff’s game-ending interception. Quick didn’t run the smoothest route but Goff deserves most of the blame for forcing a bad pass into tight coverage. Quick’s last touchdown came against the Cardinals in Week 4. He gets a rematch with Arizona in next week’s regular season finale but remains well off the fantasy radar.

Brian Quick caught 3-of-5 targets for 46 yards in the Rams' Week 15 loss to the Seahawks.

This is Quick's ceiling. Headed back to free agency, Quick might finally be moving on from the Rams with the team likely to clean house this offseason.

Brian Quick caught 5-of-8 targets for 48 yards in the Rams' Week 13 loss to the Patriots.

Quick has been hit or miss all year as the Rams' third receiver. He was Los Angeles' best receiver in this game, giving New England's secondary problems particularly in the first half. Albeit an intriguing talent, Quick has minimal value in fantasy leagues. We're excited to see where Quick lands as a 2017 free agent. The former second-round pick needs to get the heck out of L.A.

Brian Quick caught 3-of-5 targets for 21 yards in the Rams' Week 11 loss to the Dolphins.

He's been held to 48 yards or less in three-straight games and hasn't found the end zone since September. Quick is a nice deep threat with good size, but this offense is going to take even fewer chances downfield with Jared Goff now under center. Quick shouldn't be owned in 12-team leagues.

Brian Quick caught 2-of-4 targets for 16 yards in the Rams' Week 10 win over the Jets.

The only Rams pass catcher who paid dividends was Kenny Britt (7-109) in a game where Case Keenum managed 165 passing yards. Quick has flirted with fantasy relevance at times this season, but he remains a No. 3 receiver in a dysfunctional passing game and therefore can be difficult to trust. He'll be a fringe WR4/flex when Los Angeles faces off with the Dolphins in Week 11.

Brian Quick caught 4-of-6 targets for 48 yards in the Rams' Week 9 loss to the Panthers.

Quick has now cleared 48 yards in six straight games. Not exactly awe inspiring, but a big improvement on his pre-2016 production. On pace for 48/810/6, Quick has some WR4/5 appeal in standard leagues.

Brian Quick caught 4-of-9 targets for 92 yards Week 7 against the Giants.

Quick made a couple big plays, going for 48 yards on a double move in the first half and converting a fourth down on the final drive of the game. Unfortunately, Quick miscommunicated with Case Keenum with the Rams driving for a tie, leading to Keenum's fourth and final interception in the end zone. Coach Jeff Fisher seemed blame Quick after the game for the miscue. Despite the final play, Quick tied for second on the team with nine targets and once again looked good. He will be worth a dart throw in deep leagues against the Panthers after the bye.

Brian Quick caught all five of his targets for 61 yards Week 6 against the Lions.

Quick was not the star of the receiver group, but he showed up with several chunk gains. He now has at least 50 yards in each of the last four games, but he is difficult to trust as the third option in a poor passing attack.

Brian Quick was added to the injury report Friday with a calf issue.

The limited designation suggests he suffered the injury in practice. He is officially listed as questionable, but late-week downgrades are always a concern. Quick will not be a fantasy option even if he plays.

Brian Quick corralled three-of-four targets for 51 yards Sunday in the Rams' Week 5 loss to the Bills.

Quick was the hero last week with two touchdowns in an upset of Arizona. He actually had more catches this week but it came with fewer yards and no touchdowns. Quick has settled in as the Rams’ No. 3 wideout behind Kenny Britt and Tavon Austin but his feast or famine results probably won’t interest many fantasy owners. He plays the Lions in Week 6.

Rams coach Jeff Fisher believes the game is "starting to slow down" for fifth-year receiver Brian Quick.

Quick has eight catches for 153 yards (19.1 YPC) and three touchdowns. "He’s had a really solid couple of weeks on the practice field making (big) plays," Fisher said. "I think, in Brian’s case, the game is starting to slow down a little bit for him. Now, you just go and make those plays." Quick is 27 years old and in his fifth year in the league, so it's probably a good time for the game to be slowing down. Quick was an emerging playmaker in 2014 before having a lost 2015 as he battled through shoulder rehab. There's upside here, but probably not consistency. Quick profiles as a classic "best ball" player.
