Chris Owusu had his knee scope on Thursday and will miss at least three weeks.
The Jets are looking thin at wide receiver this week with Owusu already ruled out and Eric Decker dealing with a PCL injury. That's good news for Brandon Marshall, who should get as many targets as he can handle against an Eagles secondary led by slow-starter Byron Maxwell. Sep 24 - 1:56 PM

Scratch Owusu off your Week 3 DFS sleepers list. The Jets will be forced to sign a receiver if Eric Decker (knee) also can't go against the Eagles. Jeremy Kerley is about to be forced back into a role on offense. Quincy Enunwa has logged 43 percent of the Jets' snaps so far and could be a starter in Week 3.

Jets WR Chris Owusu is dealing with a leg injury, and the team is unsure of the severity.

Owusu is a candidate for a bigger role if Eric Decker (knee) misses Week 3, but now appears just as questionable as Decker. Owusu isn't on the radar in 12-14 team leagues.
Sep 22 - 5:00 PM

Chris Owusu failed to catch any of his three targets in the Jets' Week 2 win over the Colts on Monday night.

Owusu got the start in the Jets' three-wide set to open the game, but he's a distant third or fourth option in the passing game as the deep threat. Ryan Fitzpatrick took a couple shots to him, but came up empty. Owusu isn't a fantasy option.

Chris Owusu caught 4-of-6 targets for 55 yards in Week 1 against the Browns.

Owusu was the No. 3 receiver behind Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker. It's a surprise after the Jets waived him during final cuts. Owusu isn't on the redraft radar.
Sep 13 - 5:17 PM

Jets re-signed WR Chris Owusu.

Owusu was waived at final cuts, but cleared waivers and the Jets apparently didn't see anything they liked better on the waiver wire. Owusu returns to provide depth at wide receiver. He can also contribute on special teams.

The Newark Star-Ledger considers Chris Owusu the leading candidate for the Jets's No. 5 receiver job.

Owusu was cut by the Bucs in Week 3 and appeared in five games with the Jets last season. The Jets like his kick return value after he impressed in limited action. Owusu is battling T.J. Graham, Devier Posey, and Shaq Evans for one of the final receiver spots.

Bucs WR Chris Owusu secured 2-of-2 targets for 20 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's Week 1 loss to Carolina.

He's clearly the Bucs' No. 3 receiver, ahead of rookie Robert Herron. Owusu runs in the 4.3-4.4 range and caught a 19-yard dart from Josh McCown for his score. Owusu could become something of a deep sleeper if something happened to Mike Evans or Vincent Jackson, but he's roughly at WR6 at the moment.

Bucs WR Chris Owusu says he's "preparing as if he's the starting slot receiver" for Sunday's Week 1 game versus Carolina.

Vincent Jackson and rookie Mike Evans are locked in as Tampa Bay's two-wide set. The team's website suggests the Bucs' third receiver will either be Owusu, Louis Murphy, or rookie Robert Herron. Whoever it is may still not be heavily involved on offense. With Austin Seferian-Jenkins and Brandon Myers at tight end, Tampa Bay is going to predominately be a "12 personnel" team.
