Larry Donnell caught 1-of-3 targets for eight yards Week 7 against the Rams.

His biggest contribution was a lost fumble. Donnell should be on the wire.
Oct 23 - 2:21 PM

Larry Donnell is not on the Giants' Week 6 injury report.

He's been cleared from his concussion and will play against Baltimore.
Oct 14 - 1:41 PM

Larry Donnell (concussion) was upgraded to "full" on Thursday.

Donnell will be returning against the Ravens, rendering both himself and Will Tye no-go TE2s.
Oct 13 - 6:36 PM

Larry Donnell (concussion) practiced on Thursday.

After getting in a limited session Wednesday, he looks on track to play this week. Donnell's return does more to hurt Will Tye's fantasy value than it does to help his own.

Oct 13 - 12:07 PM

Larry Donnell (concussion) is expected to resume practicing on Wednesday.

As is S Nat Berhe. Will Tye didn't do anything to pull away from Donnell in their target race as Donnell missed Week 5. They'll remain low-end TE2s upon Donnell's return.
Oct 11 - 4:43 PM

Larry Donnell (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 5.

Will Tye will be the Giants' primary pass-catching tight end against the Packers, who are allowing the fifth most fantasy points to tight ends. Rookie Jerell Adams will take over as the No. 2 tight end. Tye makes for an enticing Week 5 streamer at the thinnest position in fantasy football.
Oct 7 - 1:39 PM

Giants TE Larry Donnell (concussion) did not practice Thursday.

He is not going to play on Sunday night. Will Tye should get the start at tight end.
Oct 6 - 11:59 AM

Larry Donnell (concussion) didn't practice Wednesday.

Donnell is in the early stages of the concussion protocol. He's not expected to play Sunday night against the Packers. Donnell should be considered week to week.
Oct 5 - 4:31 PM

Larry Donnell exited Week 4 against the Vikings with a concussion.

Donnell, lined up in the backfield, got lit up by SLB Anthony Barr on a blitz. It knocked him into next week, leaving Donnell not knowing where he was. Consider Donnell week to week. Will Tye will handle tight end.
Oct 3 - 9:27 PM

Larry Donnell caught 1-of-2 targets for a 15-yard touchdown in New York's Week 1 win over the Cowboys.

Donnell was splitting snaps with Will Tye. Until a clear leader emerges in the Giants' tight end corps, Donnell won't be a viable TE2 in fantasy leagues.
Sep 11 - 8:25 PM

Larry Donnell caught 1-of-2 targets for eight yards in Saturday's preseason game.

There hasn't been much clarity to Donnell's "battle" with Will Tye, but Donnell seemed to spend more time with the first-team offense this evening. His catch tonight was his first of the summer. If nothing else, Donnell is going to remain a big body who can box out defenders in the red zone, but it's quite possible he and Tye cancel each other out from a TE2 perspective.
Aug 27 - 10:49 PM

ESPN New York reports Larry Donnell has "regularly been making plays" in Giants camp.

Per reporter Jordan Raanan, Donnell looks back to full speed after the G-Men thought he was "playing a little slow" in the spring as he returned from his neck injury. Donnell is battling Will Tye and Matt LaCosse for the team's starting job. Unless either Donnell or Tye has clearly emerged by the end of camp, it's a situation to avoid in fantasy leagues.
Aug 9 - 6:56 PM

The New York Daily News expects TE Larry Donnell to regain his starting job.

Donnell has been practicing without limitations at OTAs. He should be fully healthy for training camp, but his role is up in the air after his injury-filled 2015. Will Tye is strong competition for Donnell.
Jun 10 - 7:06 PM

Larry Donnell says he had a broken bone in his neck last year, and that the injury was "worse than I thought."

Donnell has since recovered, returning to the Giants on a $1.67 million restricted free agent tender. Donnell is a red zone threat, but the G-Men may have discovered a higher-upside option in Will Tye. It's hard to see Donnell having fantasy relevance in 2016.
