Lions signed FB James Bryant.

As far as fliers go, this one is an extreme long shot. A fullback at Miami (Fla.) and Louisville, Bryant has vacillated between football and boxing the past couple of years. He was released by the CFL's B.C. Lions last October. The Lions don't use a fullback, leaving Bryant without an offensive role.
