Nov 14 - 3:08 PM

Broncos LE Derek Wolfe (elbow) will miss at least two weeks.

Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said Wolfe was only day to day, but he's facing a 2-4 week timetable. Wolfe could return after Denver's Week 11 bye in a best case scenario. Billy Wynn and Adam Gotsis will pick up Wolfe's snaps.
Nov 9 - 4:20 PM

Broncos coach Gary Kubiak insisted Monday that LE Derek Wolfe (elbow) is merely "day to day."

Kubiak said Wolfe's injury is "not as bad as we thought" after reports had Wolfe dealing with a fractured elbow. Still, it would be a major surprise to see Wolfe in the lineup ahead of Denver's Week 11 bye. The absences of Wolfe and Aqib Talib (back) will make life slightly easier on the Saints' offense this week.
Nov 7 - 5:23 PM

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports Broncos LE Derek Wolfe (broken elbow) won't be sidelined longer than a month.

Wolfe's hairline fracture doesn't require surgery. Billy Wynn and Adam Gotsis will pick up the slack during Wolfe's absence. It's a steep downgrade for the Broncos.
Nov 7 - 2:35 PM

Broncos LE Derek Wolfe suffered a hairline fracture in his elbow Sunday night against the Raiders.

Wolfe told ESPN's Josina Anderson he would be "alright," but this injury is sure to cost him at least a couple games. Losing Wolfe is a big blow for a defense which has struggled to stop the run all season. Billy Winn and second-round rookie Adam Gotsis should see a bump in snaps with Wolfe out.
Nov 7 - 9:11 AM

Broncos LE Derek Wolfe left Week 9 against the Raiders with an elbow injury.

Wolfe is done for the night after getting carted off late in the third quarter. Billy Winn replaced Wolfe.
Nov 6 - 11:04 PM

Broncos LE Derek Wolfe (neck, questionable) returned to practice on Friday.

Wolfe's status seemed to be in doubt after missing the week's first two practices with a neck injury. Now he at least has a fighting chance to play Sunday against Indianapolis. Billy Winn would start if he can't go.
Sep 16 - 1:27 PM

Broncos LE Derek Wolfe (neck) didn't practice on Thursday.

He suffered the injury in last week's win over Carolina. Wolfe hopes to suit up Sunday against the Colts but that seems unlikely unless he returns to at least a limited practice on Friday. If Wolfe sits, Billy Winn would likely draw the start in his place.
Sep 15 - 4:12 PM

Broncos LE Derek Wolfe exited the season opener with a neck injury.

He is officially questionable to return. After losing Malik Jackson in free agency, the Broncos need Wolfe to stay healthy.
Sep 8 - 11:32 PM

Broncos spokesperson Patrick Smyth said the Broncos are aware of the situation involving LE Derek Wolfe and are handling it "internally."

"Derek talked to us on Monday about the issue," Smyth said, "and it’s been addressed internally." A video purportedly shows Wolfe throwing a punch during a fracas at a Denver-area nightclub on April 2. It is not clear in the video if the punch landed, and TMZ reports police were not called to the scene. Denver Police said they will not pursue a case unless someone files a complaint or new evidence is presented, and NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy said the incident "doesn’t appear on its face to be something that would lead to league discipline." It sounds like Wolfe will be able to quickly put this situation behind him.

Watt.
