Jarius Wright secured 4-of-6 targets for 49 yards in the Vikings' Week 15 loss to the Lions.
Wright contributed four chain-moving receptions, but was mostly quiet as usual as the Vikings' third receiver behind Charles Johnson and Greg Jennings. Wright lacks re-draft value and has very limited Dynasty league appeal. Dec 14 - 7:25 PM

Jarius Wright had four catches for 123 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's Week 14 win over the Jets.

Wright scored the game-winning touchdown on a 87-yard screen pass in overtime. It's was a blown coverage from the Jets, and Wright finished with just five targets. Wright can continue to be avoided in fantasy leagues.
Dec 7 - 5:19 PM

Jarius Wright is active for Week 12 against the Packers.

With both Wright and Greg Jennings active, Charles Johnson figures to remain in his No. 4 receiver role despite last week's mini-breakout.
Nov 23 - 11:56 AM

Jarius Wright (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 12.

Wright participated in practice on a limited basis on both Thursday and Friday, which suggests he's a solid bet to face the Packers. The Vikings are also expected to have Greg Jennings (rib) for Sunday's intra-division showdown.
Nov 21 - 3:03 PM

Jarius Wright (hamstring) is not practicing Wednesday.

Wright exited Week 11 early. His status for Week 12 is up in the air.
Nov 19 - 12:45 PM

Jarius Wright is questionable to return in Week 11 with a hamstring injury.

Minnesota's No. 3 receiver, Wright hasn't been heard from much since the Vikings' fluky offensive explosion against the Falcons in Week 4. Wright was targeted once before exiting, but did not secure it.
Nov 16 - 2:26 PM

Jarius Wright caught two passes for 29 yards in Sunday's Week 9 win over the Redskins.

Wright is only playing in three-wide sets and not seeing bubble screens. Since that Week 4 explosion against the Falcons (8-132-0), Wright has been held under 30 yards five times in six games.
Nov 2 - 5:03 PM

Jarius Wright secured 2-of-3 targets for 13 yards in the Vikings' Week 8 win over the Buccaneers.

Minnesota's third receiver, Wright is a WR6 in fantasy leagues.
Oct 26 - 5:16 PM

Jarius Wright had four catches for 60 yards in Week 7 against the Bills.

Wright was targeted mostly on screens, but was able to get open for a 28-yard catch in the fourth quarter. He's the No. 3 option in the pass game, behind Greg Jennings and Cordarrelle Patterson. Wright can continue to be avoided in fantasy leagues.
Oct 19 - 5:32 PM

Jarius Wright caught 4-of-6 targets for 17 yards and rushed once for 21 yards against the Lions.

Wright's big run came on the first drive of the game. Since his eight catch breakout Week 4, Wright has seven catches for 41 yards in two games. He is best left on the waiver wire in all but the deepest of leagues.
Oct 12 - 5:13 PM

Jarius Wright caught three passes for 27 yards in Thursday night's Week 5 loss to the Packers.

Wright was targeted a team-high eight times by Christian Ponder. He's been more involved the last two weeks with Kyle Rudolph sidelined, and has shown good chemistry with both Ponder and Teddy Bridgewater. Cordarrelle Patterson exited in the second half with a hip injury, leaving Wright to play opposite Greg Jennings in two-wide sets. Wright could see an expanded role in Week 6 if Patterson misses time.
Oct 3 - 12:37 AM

Jarius Wright played on 42-of-79 snaps (53.1 percent) in Sunday's win over the Falcons.

Wright was the clear No. 3 receiver as Greg Jennings got 76 snaps and Cordarrelle Patterson got 70. But Wright was the apple of Teddy Bridgewater's eye as the Vikings used more three-wide sets than they did all season, in part thanks to Kyle Rudolph's injury. The result was a team-high 10 targets that yielded eight catches and 132 yards. Wright and Teddy clearly have chemistry after spending so much time together on the second unit, putting him on the WR4/5 radar for Thursday's game against the Packers.
Sep 29 - 10:28 AM

Jarius Wright caught eight passes for 132 yards in the Vikings' Week 4 win over the Falcons.

Wright led the team with 10 targets, six more than the next Viking on the list. Teddy Bridgewater was consistently hitting Wright on screens and quick passes. Wright broke one for 52 yards before getting caught from behind in the red zone. He was also overthrown by Bridgewater on a deep bomb that would have been a 75-yard touchdown. We'd like to chalk this up as a bit of a fluke. Wright would ideally be the third or fourth option in the passing game. But Wright is certainly worth monitoring into a Week 5 date with the Packers.
Sep 28 - 8:16 PM

Jarius Wright caught two passes for 25 yards in the Vikings' Week 1 win over the Rams.

Wright filled the No. 3 receiver role with Jerome Simpson out on a three-game suspension. He saw three targets in the passing game, and may keep the No. 3 job even when Simpson returns. However, it's not a big enough part of the Minnesota offense to make Wright fantasy relevant. He's the No. 5 option.
Sep 7 - 5:54 PM

Jarius Wright caught his lone target for 14 yards in the Vikings' third preseason game Saturday night.

Wright got the "start" over Greg Jennings, although that may have been due to Minnesota's personnel package. The team views Wright as a superior run blocker to Jennings. Still, it's clear Wright is locked in as the Vikings' No. 3 receiver, ahead of rotational deep threat Jerome Simpson. Wright has three catches for 38 yards and a 17-yard rushing attempt this preseason.
