Giants re-signed LB Keenan Robinson.

Robinson visited both the Bills and Bengals, but he will be back to compete for a starting role in New York. While he is an above-average athlete for the position, Robinson has been a below-average linebacker throughout his career. The Giants still have work to do.
Mar 20 - 10:37 PM

The Bills hosted free agent LB Keenan Robinson for a visit.

With thumpers Reggie Ragland and Preston Brown currently headlining their linebacker corps, the Bills are looking for speed for an outside spot. Robinson is an above-average athlete. He can play any of the three linebacker positions.

Free agent LB Keenan Robinson will visit the Bengals.

Robinson and the Giants reportedly had mutual interest in a new deal, but there hasn't been a peep since the start of free agency. Cincinnati is his first outside visit. Robinson had a mediocre 2016 as the G-Men's nickel 'backer.

ESPN's Jordan Raanan reports the Giants "would like" to re-sign WLB Keenan Robinson.

Robinson has already said he wants to re-up with the Giants, so it sounds like this deal should happen. Signed to a one-year deal last March, Robinson played a lot of snaps as the Giants' nickel linebacker, but he struggled against the run. New York should be aiming higher as they look to upgrade their linebacking corps.

Impending free agent WLB Keenan Robinson wants to re-sign with the Giants.

Signed to a one-year deal last offseason, Robinson appeared in all 17 games, but graded out as Pro Football Focus' worst 4-3 outside linebacker, receiving poor marks both against the run and in pass coverage. The Giants had a dominant defense in 2016, but they need to upgrade at the linebacker spots.
Jan 13 - 10:30 AM

NJ Advance Media's Jordan Raanan reports newly-signed LB Keenan Robinson is expected to start at middle linebacker for the Giants.

The Giants did a great job adding talent along the defensive line, but their linebacking and safety corps remain a work in progress. Robinson started 21 games for the Redskins over the last two seasons, but he was completely ineffective last year before being demoted to a reserve role. The new defensive line should help hide some deficiencies, but the Giants have to add more talent at linebacker before Week 1.

Giants signed ILB Keenan Robinson, formerly of the Redskins, to a one-year contract "worth up to $3.5 million."

Robinson started 21 games over the past two seasons, but should be arriving in New York as a reserve. At least going by Pro Football Focus' ratings, he was one of the least effective players in the league in 2015. The Giants shouldn't be done adding to their linebacker corps.

The Washington Post considers the Redskins "lukewarm" on free agent ILB Keenan Robinson.

Robinson has made 21 starts over the past two seasons, but is a poor tackler who graded out as one of the worst players in the league in Pro Football Focus' ratings. If Robinson is back with the Redskins, it will probably be on a one-year deal after free agency has already started.

Redskins declared LB Keenan Robinson, QB Robert Griffin, WR Rashad Ross, S Trenton Robinson, DE Frank Kearse, G Arie Kouandjio and TE Anthony McCoy inactive for Week 11 against the Panthers.

Keenan Robinson is dealing with a shoulder injury, but he is reportedly getting close. Trenton Robinson missed Thursday and Friday with a hamstring issue. The rest are healthy scratches.

Redskins ILB Keenan Robinson is dealing with a "slightly" fractured rib, but is expected to be fine following the bye week.

Robinson is an every-down player. Through seven games, he's graded out as a bottom-15 inside linebacker in Pro Football Focus' ratings.

ILB Keenan Robinson left the Redskins' Week 7 game against the Buccaneers with an abdominal strain and his return is questionable.

Robinson returned briefly after injuring himself early in the second quarter but now he's headed to the locker room. He had four tackles before leaving.

Redskins ILB Keenan Robinson (knee) is listed at doubtful for Week 16 against the Eagles.

Robinson has been sidelined since Week 13 with a sprained MCL. He got in limited practices all week, but will likely miss his third straight game. Robinson's replacement Will Compton has struggled in pass coverage since taking over.

Washington coach Jay Gruden raved about ILB Keenan Robinson’s athleticism and ability to cover sideline to sideline.

Robinson is the favorite for the starting spot next to Perry Riley, and has potential for a three-down role. He received first-team reps in OTAs and minicamp. Riley struggles in pass coverage and could be removed in sub packages. Limited to 11 games the last two seasons, Robinson needs to stay healthy to win the job.
