Broncos WLB Brandon Marshall (foot) is expected to be 100 percent by training camp.
He could be limited during minicamp and OTAs. Marshall struggled with a right foot injury last season but only missed two games because of it. The Broncos are transitioning from a 4-3 defense to a 3-4 scheme under new coordinator Wade Phillips. That means Marshall, who mostly played on the outside last season, will be making the move to inside linebacker. Mar 23 - 9:26 AM

Broncos WLB Brandon Marshall (foot) is listed as questionable for the Divisional Round versus the Colts.

Broncos WLB Brandon Marshall (mid-foot) sprain has resumed practicing, getting in limited sessions ahead of Sunday's Divisional Round game.

Broncos WLB Brandon Marshall has been diagnosed with a mid-foot sprain.

The injury is to Marshall's left foot. It's big news, as the under-the-radar Marshall has been one of the Broncos' best defenders this season. Mid-foot sprains are often season-ending injuries, and Marshall will likely miss the rest of the regular season. Depending on the severity of his sprain, he could be ready to go for the playoffs. A 2012 fifth-round pick of the Jags, Marshall has graded out as Pro Football Focus' No. 3 4-3 outside linebacker this season. He has 113 tackles, two sacks, one interception and a forced fumble.

Jaguars selected Nevada LB Brandon Marshall with the No. 142 overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft.

A three-year starter, Marshall racked up huge numbers in the WAC, leading Nevada in tackles the past two seasons. He's under-sized at 6-foot-1, 242 pounds, but is excellent at reading a play and reacting. Marshall could see snaps in the Jaguars' patchwork linebacker corps as a rookie, but at least early on, most of his playing time should come on special teams.
