Bills OT Zebrie Sanders is recovering from surgery to both hips.
A fifth-round pick last spring, Sanders tore his right labrum in training camp, landing on injured reserve. He then tore his left labrum two months later. He's still rehabbing his left hip, and won't be 100 percent for OTAs. Sanders was billed as the Bills' "swing tackle of the future" last year, but he'll need a healthy and productive camp to earn a roster spot. Mar 22 - 8:56 AM

The Bills envision fifth-round pick Zebrie Sanders as their swing tackle of the future.

Sanders made starts both at left and right tackle in college. GM Buddy Nix believes Buffalo may have gotten a steal in Sanders. "He had a bad Senior Bowl," said Nix. "He had tried to lose some weight. They worked him in there at guard and that kind of threw him off. ... We say all-star games never move a guy up or down, but once you see it it’s hard not to remember that."

Bills selected Florida State OT Zebrie Sanders with the No. 144 overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft.

Sanders started his career at right tackle but spelled an injured Andrew Datko on the blindside during his senior season. His tape is much better than his Senior Bowl performance, as Sanders has strength once locked in when under balance, but too often he overextends himself. Sanders flashes sitting back in his stance to absorb strong pass rushers, but his feet are too heavy to play on the left side. The Bills added offensive line depth on their right side with this pick.
