Bengals re-signed K Randy Bullock.
Bullock spent most of 2016 out of the league and has appeared in just 16 games with five teams since 2014. He went 5-of-6 on field goals with the Bengals, although the one miss would have been a game-winner. Cincinnati should add competition, but Bullock is the favorite to open 2017 as the Bengals' kicker. Jan 26 - 9:57 AM

Bengals claimed K Randy Bullock off waivers from the Steelers.

He replaces Mike Nugent. An ex-Steeler, Jet, Texan and Giant, Bullock is a career 81.3 percent field goal kicker. He'll be a middling fantasy option for the middling Bengals.

Steelers signed K Randy Bullock.

Bullock will likely handle the kicking duties this weekend after Chris Boswell was added to the injury report Saturday morning. Bullock connected on 2-of-3 extra point attempts in one game with the Giants earlier this season, but he has been on the street since Week 1. The Steelers might be even more likely to go for two against Bullock's former team this weekend. CB Al-Hajj Shabazz was cut in a corresponding move.

Giants signed K Randy Bullock, formerly of the Jets.

Bullock bounced between the Texans and Jets last year, ultimately replacing then-injured Nick Folk. Staying in New York with the NFC's version, Bullock will have a chance to kick for the G-Men during Josh Brown's one-game ban.

Free agent K Randy Bullock will work out for the Giants.

New York also brought in Garrett Hartley for a workout on Monday. With Josh Brown suspended Week 1, the Giants are looking for a veteran option. Bullock converted 19-of-23 field goals in 11 games with the Texans and Jets last season.

Jets signed K Randy Bullock.

Bullock will replace Nick Folk, who felt a "little pop" in his quad during pregame warm-ups Sunday. Folk will likely end up on injured reserve. Bullock converted just over 80 percent of his kicks in 35 games with the Texans. He was waived after missing a 43-yard attempt and an extra point Week 3.

Texans waived K Randy Bullock.

Nick Novak will replace him. Bullock sealed his fate by missing a 43-yard attempt and an extra point in Sunday's win over Tampa Bay. He shouldn't be unemployed for long.

Randy Bullock has sewn up the Texans' kicking job.

The club waived competitor Chris Boswell on Friday afternoon. Bullock was a perfect 3-of-3 on field goals this preseason, and also produced four touchbacks on nine kickoff attempts. He's on the K1 streamer radar this season.

Texans K Randy Bullock was 1-of-4 on field goal attempts from beyond 50 yards in 2013.

Bullock's three misses came in the first two games. His only other attempt from 50-plus came against Oakland in Week 11 when he connected on a 51-yard kick. Bullock was just 26-of-35 last season, but he did make his final 12 attempts.

The Texans are sticking with K Randy Bullock for now.

With Bullock 13-of-21 (61.9 percent) on the season, the Texans tried out Neil Rackers, Shayne Graham and Justin Medlock Tuesday. Surprisingly, none were signed. When you're a fifth-round pick as Bullock was, you get more leash than most. Bullock is clearly not a fantasy option while mired in this slump.

Texans K Randy Bullock is 13-of-21 on field goals this season.

Bullock's 61.9 conversion rate ranks 32nd in the NFL. He's 0-of-4 from 50+, including an ugly miss from 55 yards out that could have sent Sunday night's game into overtime. The Texans burned a fifth-round pick on Bullock in 2012, but he's killing his team right now. They need to move on.

Texans K Randy Bullock is 1-of-5 on field goals to start the season.

In Bullock's defense, three of the misses have come from 50+ yards out and the fourth was from 46 yards away. But it's not a good start to the on-field career of a guy that missed his entire rookie season with a groin tear. The Texans are sticking with Bullock, but fantasy owners should look for a kicker with more confidence right now.

Texans K Randy Bullock is 6-of-7 on field goals this preseason.

That includes a 55-yarder against the Saints last week. Bullock, the 2011 Lou Groza Award winner as a senior at Texas A&M, missed his entire rookie year due to a groin tear. Fully healthy since December, he's a reasonable fantasy kicking option heading into Week 1. Shayne Graham's 38 attempts with the Texans in 2012 tied for third in the league.

Texans K Randy Bullock confirmed he's 100 percent recovered from the groin tear that cost him his entire rookie season.

Houston's fifth-round pick in 2012, Bullock suffered the injury in a preseason game. "I feel great," he said. "I’ve been cleared ... (I’m) working out and doing everything normal. It feels good." The 2011 Lou Groza Award winner as college's top kicker, Bullock will be on the fantasy kicking radar this season.
