Cole Beasley (hamstring) has been cleared for Cowboys training camp.
Beasley played through hamstring tendinitis in the second half of last season and missed all spring workouts, but the Cowboys never expressed significant concern with his health. He's now all systems go. Entering his age-28 season, Beasley was quick to establish a chain-moving rapport with Dak Prescott in 2016, drawing career highs in targets (98) and receptions (75). Cole Beasley has missed spring practices with hamstring tendinitis.

Beasley revealed the injury has bothered him since last Week 10. He played through it, of course, and said he could play in a game today if need be. Still, the long-term nature of the injury is concerning and perhaps explains why the Cowboys drafted slot prospect Ryan Switzer in the fourth round. "(Doctors) say they've had guys with an injury like this before and it's nagged them for a long time and it just went away," said Beasley. "So it's kind of like a waiting game. If it doesn't go away, I can play through it."

Cole Beasley contributed four catches for 45 yards on six targets Sunday in the Cowboys' Divisional Round loss to the Packers.

Beasley didn’t do anything out of the ordinary on Sunday and mostly took a backseat to Dez Bryant and Jason Witten. Notably, he was the targeted receiver on Dak Prescott’s only interception of the game. That came on a screen pass early in the third quarter. The 27-year-old had by far his best season in 2016, leading the Cowboys with a career-high 75 catches for 833 yards. With that said, Beasley’s production dipped dramatically in the second half and he won’t be worth drafting as anything more than a late-round flyer in fantasy next summer.
Jan 15 - 9:59 PM

Cole Beasley caught 3-of-4 targets for 49 yards Week 17 against the Eagles.

Beasley hauled in Mark Sanchez’s best pass of the game in the third quarter, but those 33 yards were his only real contribution. Beasley has failed to top 75 yards in any game this season and has been held under 60 in every game since Week 4. He will not be an exciting DFS option in the playoffs.
Jan 1 - 4:19 PM

Cole Beasley caught 4-of-5 targets for 25 yards in the Cowboys' Week 16 win over the Lions.

Beasley hasn't scored since Week 11 and has failed to top 48 yards in each of his past four games. He's a reliable source of 4-5 catches per game, but the ceiling isn't very high with him. Beasley could be part of the offensive group that rests next week against the Eagles in a meaningless game.

Cole Beasley caught 4-of-5 targets for 48 yards in Week 15 against the Bucs.

Beasley's only notable play was a 22-yard third-down catch in the first quarter. He finished behind Dez Bryant and Jason Witten in targets. Beasley will take a 68/759/5 line into Week 16.

Cole Beasley caught 4-of-7 targets for 41 yards in Week 14 against the Giants.

Beasley did most of his damage on two catches at the end of the first half. He’s now been held under 60 yards in eight straight games.

Cole Beasley caught 2-of-4 targets for 23 yards in the Cowboys' Week 13 win over the Vikings.

Both the catches and yards were season lows for the dependable slot option. He should bounce back to the 5/50 range in Week 14 against the Giants.

Cole Beasley caught 5-of-6 targets for 56 yards in the Cowboys' Week 12 win over the Redskins.

This is what we've come to expect from Beasley, and anytime he scores a touchdown it's viewed as a bonus. His late catch in the fourth quarter helped the Cowboys salt the clock and secure the 31-26 win. Beasley will do battle with Vikings clot CB Captain Munnerlyn in Week 13 and remain a fine WR3.

Cole Beasley caught 5-of-6 targets for 59 yards and one touchdown in the Cowboys' Week 11 win over the Ravens.

Beasley has caught a touchdown and/or caught five passes in five of his last six games. Beasley's touchdown came from three yards out in the second quarter and was a terrific play on both his and Dak Prescott's parts. Prescott escaped pressure, rolled right, and Beasley was able to get just enough separation from CB Jerraud Powers in the front right corner of the end zone. Beasley has turned himself into a quality WR3 in PPR leagues and will do battle with the Redskins on Thanksgiving with Dez Bryant getting Josh Norman coverage.
Sun, Nov 20, 2016 07:04:00 PM

Cole Beasley turned nine targets into five catches for 33 yards Sunday in the Cowboys' Week 10 win over the Steelers.

For the first time all season, Beasley fell short of 50 receiving yards. That was despite seeing his most targets since Week 1. Beasley has been a favorite of Dak Prescott’s throughout the year but his ceiling remains limited, especially with Dez Bryant beginning to hit his stride. Consider him a WR4 next week against the Ravens.
Sun, Nov 13, 2016 09:32:00 PM

Cole Beasley caught all six of his targets for 56 yards and a touchdown Week 9 against the Browns.

With Dez Bryant being shut down, Dak Prescott peppered Beasley and Jason Witten with targets. Beasley delivered with several big catches including a wide-open touchdown from six yards out in the second quarter. Beasley now has four touchdowns in his last four games, but he has yet to top 60 yards over that span. He remains a WR4 with touchdown upside. At the halfway point, Beasley is on pace for 998 yards and eight touchdowns.

Cole Beasley caught 4-of-7 targets for 53 yards in Week 8 against the Eagles.

Beasley wasn't targeted in the first half. He didn't have a catch until deep in the fourth quarter, with most of his yards not coming until overtime. Beasley should remain the No. 2 option going forward, but doesn't have more than low-end PPR value.
Mon, Oct 31, 2016 01:34:00 AM

Cole Beasley hauled in all six of his targets for 58 yards and two scores Week 6 against the Packers.

Beasley made a couple of big plays between the 20s, but he did all his fantasy damage in the red zone. His first touchdown came on a quick route into the flat in the first quarter, and he was left wide open on a play-action boot for the game-sealing score in the fourth. Unlike Terrance Williams and Brice Butler, Beasley should retain his role even when Dez Bryant returns after the bye. He should be owned in all PPR formats.

Cole Beasley caught 4-of-4 targets for 53 yards and a touchdown in the Cowboys' Week 5 win over the Bengals.

Beasley scored an early red-zone touchdown, saving his fantasy day one week after it was saved by a late-game 47-yard catch and run. Beasley's targets are way down, and they are likely to dip further when Dez Bryant (knee) returns. With that said, Beasley will be in play as a WR3 in PPR leagues if Bryant can't go against the Packers in Week 6.
