Cole Beasley hauled in 4-of-6 targets for 23 yards and two touchdowns in the Cowboys' Week 5 loss to the Packers.
Scoreless since Week 11 of last season, Beasley was not a good bet to pop up with a multi-touchdown game, but he managed the feat in the first half of this one. He also came up with what looked like a massive third-down conversion late in the game, but he was ruled short on review. Ezekiel Elliott was able to pick up the first down on the next play. Despite the good game, Beasley was still held below 40 yards, as he has in every game this season. He will not be a fantasy option when the Cowboys return from their Week 6 bye. Oct 8 - 8:42 PM

Date:

Cole Beasley caught 3-of-6 targets for 17 yards in the Cowboys' Week 4 loss to the Rams.

A surprisingly small part of the Cowboys' offense so far, Beasley has yet to reach 40 yards in any of Dallas' first four games. He will be a tough sell as a Week 5 fantasy starter, even against the Packers' leaky pass defense.
Oct 1 - 5:38 PM

Cole Beasley caught his lone target for four yards in the Cowboys' Week 3 win over the Cardinals.

He was barely even noticeable Monday night. Dak Prescott only attempted 18 passes and was going deep to Brice Butler at times or hitting Dez Bryant and Terrance Williams over the middle. Beasley is only worth owning in deeper PPR leagues. The good news is the Cowboys' schedule starts to soften.
Sep 26 - 12:36 AM

Cole Beasley caught 4-of-8 targets for 33 yards in the Cowboys' Week 2 loss against the Broncos.

It was a predictably quiet day for Beasley against Denver's pass-erasing defense. He had perhaps the roughest matchup against elite slot man Chris Harris Jr. The Cowboys' passing game has another tough matchup for Week 3 in the Cardinals.
Sep 17 - 11:02 PM

Cole Beasley caught 3-of-5 targets for 32 yards in Week 1 against the Giants.

Beasley had a quiet night outside of a highlight one-handed catch. He isn't a recommended streamer for Week 2 against Denver.
Sep 11 - 12:25 AM

Cole Beasley caught his lone target for ten yards in the Cowboys' third preseason game.

A chain-moving slot receiver in the Cowboys' ball-control offense, Beasley out-targeted "No. 2" Terrance Williams 104 to 67 including the playoffs last season, and will remain a huge part of Dallas' 2017 passing game. Unfortunately, Beasley has topped 75 receiving yards in just 2-of-72 career games. He remains roster worthy in deep PPR leagues, but offers minimal upside.
Aug 26 - 10:46 PM

Cole Beasley (hamstring) has been cleared for Cowboys training camp.

Beasley played through hamstring tendinitis in the second half of last season and missed all spring workouts, but the Cowboys never expressed significant concern with his health. He's now all systems go. Entering his age-28 season, Beasley was quick to establish a chain-moving rapport with Dak Prescott in 2016, drawing career highs in targets (98) and receptions (75).
Jul 24 - 4:14 PM

Cole Beasley has missed spring practices with hamstring tendinitis.

Beasley revealed the injury has bothered him since last Week 10. He played through it, of course, and said he could play in a game today if need be. Still, the long-term nature of the injury is concerning and perhaps explains why the Cowboys drafted slot prospect Ryan Switzer in the fourth round. "(Doctors) say they've had guys with an injury like this before and it's nagged them for a long time and it just went away," said Beasley. "So it's kind of like a waiting game. If it doesn't go away, I can play through it."
Jun 14 - 5:51 PM

Cole Beasley contributed four catches for 45 yards on six targets Sunday in the Cowboys' Divisional Round loss to the Packers.

Beasley didn’t do anything out of the ordinary on Sunday and mostly took a backseat to Dez Bryant and Jason Witten. Notably, he was the targeted receiver on Dak Prescott’s only interception of the game. That came on a screen pass early in the third quarter. The 27-year-old had by far his best season in 2016, leading the Cowboys with a career-high 75 catches for 833 yards. With that said, Beasley’s production dipped dramatically in the second half and he won’t be worth drafting as anything more than a late-round flyer in fantasy next summer.
Jan 15 - 9:59 PM

Cole Beasley caught 3-of-4 targets for 49 yards Week 17 against the Eagles.

Beasley hauled in Mark Sanchez’s best pass of the game in the third quarter, but those 33 yards were his only real contribution. Beasley has failed to top 75 yards in any game this season and has been held under 60 in every game since Week 4. He will not be an exciting DFS option in the playoffs.
Jan 1 - 4:19 PM

Cole Beasley caught 4-of-5 targets for 25 yards in the Cowboys' Week 16 win over the Lions.

Beasley hasn't scored since Week 11 and has failed to top 48 yards in each of his past four games. He's a reliable source of 4-5 catches per game, but the ceiling isn't very high with him. Beasley could be part of the offensive group that rests next week against the Eagles in a meaningless game.
Tue, Dec 27, 2016 12:30:00 AM

Cole Beasley caught 4-of-5 targets for 48 yards in Week 15 against the Bucs.

Beasley's only notable play was a 22-yard third-down catch in the first quarter. He finished behind Dez Bryant and Jason Witten in targets. Beasley will take a 68/759/5 line into Week 16.
Mon, Dec 19, 2016 12:12:00 AM

Cole Beasley caught 4-of-7 targets for 41 yards in Week 14 against the Giants.

Beasley did most of his damage on two catches at the end of the first half. He’s now been held under 60 yards in eight straight games.
Sun, Dec 11, 2016 11:49:00 PM

Cole Beasley caught 2-of-4 targets for 23 yards in the Cowboys' Week 13 win over the Vikings.

Both the catches and yards were season lows for the dependable slot option. He should bounce back to the 5/50 range in Week 14 against the Giants.
Fri, Dec 2, 2016 12:17:00 AM

Cole Beasley caught 5-of-6 targets for 56 yards in the Cowboys' Week 12 win over the Redskins.

This is what we've come to expect from Beasley, and anytime he scores a touchdown it's viewed as a bonus. His late catch in the fourth quarter helped the Cowboys salt the clock and secure the 31-26 win. Beasley will do battle with Vikings clot CB Captain Munnerlyn in Week 13 and remain a fine WR3.
