Packers agreed to terms with T/G Don Barclay.
Barclay made five spot starts last season, struggling mightily and allowing nine sacks while seeing action at both tackle positions. The Packers are hopeful that Barclay will return to pre-injury form another year removed his 2014 ACL tear. When healthy, Barclay has the ability to play all five positions on the offensive line. Barclay turns 27 years old later this month. Apr 17 - 7:15 PM

Packers placed G/T Don Barclay on injured reserve with a torn ACL, ending his season.

Coming off a season where he started 15 games at right tackle, Barclay is capable of playing anywhere along the line. His loss is a big hit to the Packers' depth. Heading into his age-25 season, Barclay will be a restricted free agent next spring.

Packers G/T Don Barclay reportedly suffered a torn ACL during practice Tuesday.

A super sub that can play anywhere on the line, Barclay's loss will be a hit to the Packers' depth. Derek Sherrod will likely become Green Bay's swing tackle, while Lane Taylor will serve as the primary backup at guard.

Packers G/T Don Barclay was carted off the field Tuesday with a knee injury.

Barclay is being evaluated, but it doesn't sound good for the Packers' super sub. He started 15 games at right tackle last season and can play anywhere along the line. Derek Sherrod and Cory Linsley will be the sixth and seventh linemen if Barclay is to miss extended time. Green Bay can't afford more injuries up front.

ESPN Packers blogger Rob Demovsky believes OL Don Barclay could be the team's top reserve lineman at "several positions."

Barclay filled in for Bryan Bulaga at right tackle last season, but was ineffective. "Donny has the ability to potentially play five positions on the offensive line," coach Mike McCarthy said Tuesday. "I don't know how many guys you can say that about." Barclay has seen time at both guard and tackle this spring, and may even take reps at center.

Don Barclay is expected to open the season as the Packers' starting right tackle.

Green Bay's first-team front five is taking shape, from left to right reading LT David Bakhtiari, LG Josh Sitton, C Evan Dietrich-Smith, RG T.J. Lang, and RT Barclay. Barclay has outplayed Marshall Newhouse in practice and preseason games, and is one of the team's top run blockers. His winning of the job is good news for Eddie Lacy, who is going to be a 2013 offensive focal point.

Packers OT Don Barclay is listed questionable for Week 16 with an illness.

This news comes just one day after the Packers announced they were reshuffling their offensive line with Evan Dietrich-Smith replacing Jeff Saturday at center. If Barclay is unable to go, the Packers may need to swing T.J. Lang back to tackle, Dietrich-Smith back to guard and Saturday back to center. With Barclay at tackle, the Packers have rushed for 152, 140 and 113 yards in three division wins.
