The San Diego Union-Tribune reported Chargers RG D.J. Fluker "barely could walk" after the Week 3 loss to the Vikings.
Fluker was in and out of the game all day after perhaps rushing back from a Week 2 high-ankle sprain. Fluker should miss some practice time this week, but he should play against the Browns. Sep 27 - 8:57 PM

Chargers RG D.J. Fluker (ankle) is active for Week 3 against the Vikings.

Fluker's Week 1 injury appeared to be severe, but ended up costing him only one game. It's a big boost for Melvin Gordon and company.
Sep 27 - 11:42 AM

Chargers RG D.J. Fluker (ankle) remained limited in Friday's practice and is listed as questionable for Week 3 against the Vikings.

Fluker will be a game-time decision after practicing the last two days. His return would be an upgrade for Melvin Gordon and an offensive line that allowed four sacks last week. Chris Hairston will start if Fluker is held out.
Sep 25 - 6:56 PM

Chargers RG D.J. Fluker (ankle) returned to practice on Thursday.

It's the first time he's practiced since getting carted off the field in Week 1. There's an outside chance we'll see him in uniform Sunday against the Vikings. If he can't, Chris Hairston would get another start at right guard.
Sep 24 - 3:08 PM

Chargers declared RG D.J. Fluker (ankle) inactive for Week 2 against the Bengals.

Fluker made the trip the Cincinnati and has a chance to return next week. Chris Hairston will start in his place. San Diego also declared SS Jahleel Addae, WR Jacoby Jones, OLB Tourek Williams, OG Johnnie Troutman, RB Donald Brown and NT Ryan Carrethers inactive.
Sep 20 - 11:37 AM

Chargers RG D.J. Fluker (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Week 2.

Fluker was never expected to play, but the doubtful tag suggests he'll have a chance at returning next week. Chris Hairston will make at least one start in Fluker's place.
Sep 18 - 7:45 PM

Chargers RG D.J. Fluker's ankle injury is only expected to sideline him for "a couple weeks."

Initial fears had Fluker missing 4-6 games with a high ankle sprain. Instead, the Chargers may only have to lean on Chris Hairston at right guard for two weeks. Still, Fluker's absence is a short-term concern for Melvin Gordon.
Sep 16 - 9:15 PM

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Chargers RG D.J. Fluker will be out 4-6 weeks with a high-ankle sprain.

There was some concern initially Fluker could be dealing with a broken ankle. Fluker will have an MRI on Monday to confirm the diagnosis, but it appears he escaped with "just" a sprain. Fluker played extremely well in his first career start at right guard, and losing him for any time will be a blow for the offense. With Johnnie Troutman (broken forearm) out until at least Week 3, Chris Hairston should start at right guard this week.
Sep 14 - 10:18 AM

The San Diego Union-Tribune's Michael Gehlken reported the "belief" is D.J. Fluker did not suffer a broken ankle Week 1 against the Lions.

Fluker had his left leg rolled up at the end of a third-quarter run. He went down immediately in pain and had to be carted off the field. The newly-minted right guard had played well through three quarters, and anything less than a break would be great news for the Chargers' offensive line. Fluker will have an MRI on Monday.
Sep 13 - 8:01 PM

Chargers RG D.J. Fluker exited Week 1 with an apparent left ankle injury.

He is out for the game, and there is some concern he could have broken his ankle. Fluker was rolled up from behind at the end of a third-quarter run by Danny Woodhead. Fluker was in obvious pain after the play, and his teammates immediately waived the trainers onto the field. He had to be carted off. With former RG Johnnie Troutman (broken forearm) out until Week 3, Chris Hairston replaced Fluker at right guard.
Sep 13 - 6:09 PM

D.J. Fluker is still adjusting to playing right guard.

Fluker started 31 games at right tackle the last two years, but the 6-foot-5 mauler always profiled better at guard. When he figures out the position, Fluker and new RT Joseph Barksdale should give the Chargers a very solid right side.
Aug 25 - 10:18 AM

The Chargers have kicked D.J. Fluker inside to guard.

He's been practicing there the last few days, with Joseph Barksdale moving up to the first team at right tackle. This combination gives San Diego its best-possible offensive line, with King Dunlap at left tackle, Orlando Franklin at left guard, Chris Watt at center, and Fluker-Barksdale on the right side.

Chargers RT D.J. Fluker is down to 345 pounds.

Fluker ballooned to 353 pounds late in 2014. Coming off a down season, San Diego is hoping better conditioning will allow Fluker to have a bounce back year.
May 9 - 7:50 PM

The Chargers plan to keep D.J. Fluker at right tackle.

There were reports Fluker could move inside after his pass protection declined in 2014, but GM Tom Telesco said the plan is for him to stay put. The Chargers are hoping Fluker can build on his strong play down the stretch last season. Fluker was PFF's No. 56 tackle among 83 qualifiers.
Feb 18 - 5:38 PM

Chargers RT D.J. Fluker (concussion) returned to practice on Friday.

Fluker still may miss Sunday's bout with New England, but it's a good sign that his concussion wasn't severe. He suffered it in Wednesday's practice.
