Ravens hired ex-Bears coach Marc Trestman as offensive coordinator.
Smarting from the loss of Gary Kubiak, the Ravens have found the best possible replacement. Trestman proved overmatched as the Bears' head coach, but has worked magic time and again with quarterbacks, from Rich Gannon to Josh McCown. Trestman fell on his face with a stubborn Jay Cutler, but is inheriting a much more "coachable" quarterback in Joe Flacco. Trestman's arrival should ensure Flacco's 2014 rebound from a rocky 2013 is not a one-year phenomenon. Jan 20 - 3:30 PM

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Raiders will interview ex-Bears coach Marc Trestman for their offensive-coordinator vacancy.

The Raiders join the Browns and Jaguars as clubs interested in Trestman. All three teams have second-year quarterbacks for 2015, but Trestman reportedly "absolutely loves" Derek Carr. Trestman was the Raiders' offensive play-caller from 2001-2003. He and Adam Gase have been linked to the Raiders.

Browns will interview former Bears coach Marc Trestman for their open offensive coordinator position.

Trestman has also interviewed with the Jaguars and Bucs. Tampa Bay has already tabbed Dirk Koetter to run its offense, and it is unclear how seriously the Jaguars are interested in Trestman. Though he struggled somewhat as a head coach, Trestman has all the makings of an excellent coordinator. The Browns will also interview 49ers OC Greg Roman, Raiders offensive assistant Al Saunders, and Raiders QB coach John DeFilippo for the position.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports ex-Bears coach Marc Trestman is expected to interview for the Jaguars' offensive-coordinator vacancy.

The move comes one week after the Florida Times Union pegged Trestman as a name to watch in the hunt to replace Jedd Fisch. Trestman has reportedly "become close" with coach Gus Bradley, though fellow interviewee Greg Roman has longtime ties with GM David Caldwell. Trestman has already interviewed for the same job in Tampa. He'd be a coup for either team.

The Bucs interviewed ex-Bears coach Marc Trestman for their offensive coordinator vacancy.

Trestman replaced Lovie Smith as Bears head coach prior to 2013 and now may join forces with him in Tampa Bay. The fit seems too perfect, especially after Smith appeared to try to copy Trestman's 2013 blueprint with his 2014 Bucs team by signing Josh McCown and drafting Mike Evans to play opposite Vincent Jackson. Trestman should have no shortage of suitors for his services.

Josh McCown lobbied for the Bucs to hire Marc Trestman as their new offensive coordinator.

We haven't seen any credible reports linking Trestman to a team since he was fired by the Bears Monday. But we'd love to see the Bucs and Lovie Smith take a long, hard look. Trestman coaxed a career year out of McCown in 2013 and could do some serious damage with the likes of potential No. 1 overall pick Marcus Mariota, Mike Evans, Vincent Jackson and Austin Seferian-Jenkins.

The Florida Times-Union speculates ex-Bears coach Marc Trestman will be a candidate for the Jaguars' offensive-coordinator vacancy.

According to reporter Ryan O'Halloran, Jaguars coach Gus Bradley has "become close" with Trestman. O'Halloran would put Trestman "at the top of the list" to replace Jedd Fisch, who was fired on Tuesday. Bradley himself commented on Trestman at Tuesday's presser, saying Trestman is a "good person," but that he hasn't "thought that much into it yet." Trestman's hiring would be a boon for a team with a ton of young talent on offense.

Bears fired coach Marc Trestman and GM Phil Emery.

Trestman got just two years in Chicago, going 13-19 while sustaining his reputation as an elite offensive mind that's not NFL head coaching material. Perhaps that's fair, but there aren't many people we'd rather have running our offense. Trestman showed his quarterback guru ways last season when he coaxed a white-hot performance out of career journeyman Josh McCown and his system also made Jimmy Clausen look like a serviceable spot-starter this season. Unfortunately, Jay Cutler couldn't hear Trestman's whispers and the defense was inept again. Trestman will be one of the hottest offensive coordinator candidates available over the next month.

CBS Chicago's Dan Bernstein reports Bears coach Marc Trestman is expected to be fired at season's end.

Per Bernstein, GM Phil Emery's fate remains "undecided." Trestman was an exciting coaching prospect after a promising rookie year, but his offense has gone in the tank while his defense has completely gone off the rails. His offensive coordinator was caught serving as an anonymous source ripping quarterback Jay Cutler. Perhaps Trestman's fate would be different were Cutler playing better, but it's hard to see him getting a third year in the Windy City.
