Terrance Williams caught 1-of-2 targets for a 60-yard touchdown in Saturday's preseason game.
Williams' score was the play of the game. The third-year wideout caught a simple crossing route in the middle of five defenders, exploding untouched for the score. He finishes the preseason with three grabs for 88 yards and a touchdown. Williams remains a boom-or-bust WR3 for 2015. He's more realistically a WR4. Aug 29 - 9:46 PM

Cowboys WRs coach Derek Dooley said Terrance Williams made a "big jump" this offseason.

With Dez Bryant skipping the offseason, Williams worked at X, Z and slot. "He's expanded his route inventory. ... Every route, every opportunity he had he took advantage of it," Dooley said. Williams' progression as a third-year player and a likely uptick in targets as Dallas' running game regresses make him an interesting pick at his 12th-round ADP.

Terrance Williams left Thursday's minicamp practice with an elbow injury.

He landed awkwardly after getting tripped up by rookie DB Byron Jones. Williams' X-rays came back negative, showing only a bruise. WRs coach Derek Dooley didn't seem overly concerned. "Hopefully he’ll be OK, and we’ll see him in five weeks." With Dez Bryant sitting out because of a contract dispute, Williams has been Tony Romo's top target during offseason workouts.

Tony Romo said WR Terrance Williams "has had one of the best offseasons I've seen in a while."

Franchise tagged Dez Bryant hasn't participated in any workouts, leaving Williams as the No. 1 wideout. He's impressed everyone from Romo to his position coach to head coach Jason Garrett. Williams had an unsustainable eight touchdowns on 64 targets last year, but his opportunities should rise this year as Dallas' run game regresses.
Jun 11 - 7:58 AM

Terrance Williams secured 1-of-2 targets for a 38-yard touchdown in Dallas' Divisional Round loss to Green Bay.

He played a key role on each of Dallas' first two touchdowns. Executing a superb flop, Williams drew a critical pass-interference flag in the first quarter, setting up FB Tyler Clutts' one-yard TD catch. Williams gave Dallas the lead by breaking Packers CB Tramon Williams' tackle on a quick-hitch route midway through the second quarter, then taking it to the house from 38 yards out. Unfortunately, Williams was a non-factor in the second half. Williams wrapped up his first regular season as a full-time starter with a 37-621-8 receiving line. A body catcher with limited separation skills, Williams is a "sell" in Dynasty leagues. He would be best suited as a No. 3 receiver in the NFL.
Jan 11 - 4:28 PM

Terrance Williams secured 3-of-6 targets for 92 yards and two touchdowns in Dallas' Wild Card Round win over Detroit.

After missing his first two targets, Williams caught his first pass late in the second quarter, gaining eight yards. He was also flagged for a first-half offensive pass interference penalty on a critical third-and-short. Williams atoned with a monster 76-yard touchdown at the 1:37 mark in the second quarter, narrowing the Lions' lead to 14-7. After dropping a fourth-quarter fade in the end zone, Williams came back two plays later to secure the game-winning eight-yard touchdown pass from Tony Romo. Williams is a role player in Dallas' offense, but he's had his fair share of "clutch" moments this season.
Jan 4 - 7:51 PM

Terrance Williams caught 3-of-5 targets for 68 yards in the Cowboys' Week 17 win over the Redskins.

Williams also drew a long pass interference penalty on sub-par Redskins CB David Amerson. The yards were Williams' most in nine games. He closes the book on the regular season the owner of a 37/621/8 line. Williams heads into the postseason with just two touchdowns in his past nine games.

Terrance Williams caught both of his targets for 52 yards and two scores Week 16 against the Colts.

Williams was back to his early season ways in this one. He did not see many looks, but he turned every catch into a touchdown. The first was a nine-yard slant to finish off the Cowboys' impressive opening drive, and the second was a 43-yard bomb from Brandon Weeden in the fourth quarter. Williams could see an expanded role next week against Washington if the Cowboys decide to rest their offensive stars.

Terrance Williams had two catches for 19 yards in Week 15 against the Eagles.

Williams was a non-factor after not being targeted last week. He managed to draw a 40-yard pass interference in the third quarter, but continued to be outplayed by Cole Beasley, who finished with four catches for 42 yards. Williams is safe to drop in re-draft leagues.

Terrance Williams wasn't targeted in the Cowboys' Week 14 win over the Bears.

Williams appears to have fallen behind Cole Beasley on the depth chart. Beasley has out-targeted Williams 13-6 over Dallas' past four games, a period in which Williams has caught just three passes. He's safely droppable for the final two weeks of the fantasy playoffs in re-draft leagues.

Terrance Williams had two catches for 39 yards in Thursday's Week 13 loss to the Eagles.

Williams didn't make his first catch until late in the fourth quarter and was targeted on Tony Romo's first interception. He appeared to give up on the play, allowing Eagles CB Cary Williams to make an easy pick. Williams hasn't found the end-zone since Week 7 and remains just a boom-or-bust WR4.

Terrance Williams (broken fingertip) is listed as probable for Thursday's Week 13 game against the Eagles.

Williams was upgraded to full on Wednesday after being limited the last two days. He'll wear a splint on his broken finger, but it was never a major concern. Williams is just a touchdown-dependent WR4 despite a favorable matchup with the Eagles' secondary.
