Terrance Williams caught four passes for 88 yards in Week 3 against Chicago.
Williams led Dallas in receiving with Dez Bryant not fully healthy. It's a nice bounce back after he wasn't targeted last week. Williams fell out of the gameplan after losing a fumble on the end of a 47-yard catch. He's still not higher than the No. 3 pass-game option. Sep 26 - 12:14 AM

Date:

Terrance Williams was not targeted in the Cowboys' Week 2 loss to the Redskins.

We will have to check snap counts early this week, but Williams appeared to lose playing time to Cole Beasley and Brice Butler following his game-costing error in Dallas' Week 1 loss. Williams can be dropped in all leagues.

Terrance Williams caught 3-of-4 targets for 34 yards in Dallas' Week 1 loss to the Giants.

Devastatingly, Williams failed to get out of bounds on his final catch, letting the clock expire and preventing the Cowboys from attempting a game-winning field goal. The mistake was Williams' career in a nutshell. He's not a viable WR5.
Sep 11 - 8:24 PM

Terrance Williams caught 1-of-2 targets for 11 yards in the Cowboys' third preseason game against the Seahawks.

Williams played the entire first half in a game Dez Bryant wasn't even active, and he still saw just two looks. He could have had a much bigger night, as Dak Prescott hung up a pretty deep ball down the middle to Williams, but the fourth-year receiver didn't come back to the ball. He waited for it to get to him, and the defensive back was able to knock it away. It's plays like this that make Williams more of a JAG. He'll have a couple big weeks, but they're impossible to predict.

ESPN's Todd Archer said "it does not sound as if" the Cowboys have opened negotiations with contract-year WR Terrance Williams.

Archer believes Williams could be after something close to the four-year, $40 million deal Jaguars WR Allen Hurns landed last week. Best suited as a No. 3 receiver on a good team, Dallas should be happy to let Williams test the market if he thinks he is worth that kind of money. Williams has recorded 2,197 yards and 16 scores through three seasons, but he struggled mightily last year when Dez Bryant's injury thrust him into a bigger role.

Cowboys WR Terrance Williams said he is not worried about a new contract.

Williams is set to earn $1.686 million in the final year of his rookie deal. "I’m just ready to be quiet and work and let my play speak for it, because you can always talk what you’re going to do and then if it doesn’t go as planned, it’s like a slap to your face," Williams said. "So I’m just ready to work and just show my play." Williams has been miscast as a No. 2 receiver, but the Cowboys have not managed to find an upgrade. With little else behind Dez Bryant, Williams should once again play a prominent role.

Terrance Williams will get a raise to $1.686 million in 2016.

According to the CBA established in 2011, players picked between Rounds 3-7 can earn a raise in the last year of their rookie contract if they play 35 percent of the team's offensive or defensive snaps in two of their first three seasons. Williams has played at least 67.9 percent of the Cowboys' snaps in each of his three seasons, which qualifies him for a $978,500 raise. Williams' teammate, S J.J. Wilcox, will also get a raise in 2016.

Terrance Williams caught 8-of-9 targets for 173 yards in Week 17 against Washington.

Williams closes out the season with a 52/840/3 line. He was overmatched when asked to step up as the No. 1 receiver in place of Dez Bryant, and is a low-end secondary option. Despite the big game, the Cowboys should look to upgrade on Williams this offseason.
Jan 3 - 6:55 PM

Terrance Williams caught 4-of-10 targets for 62 yards in the Cowboys Week 16 loss to Buffalo.

Even with Dez Bryant sidelined, Williams didn't have much of an impact. His highlight was a 22-yard catch on third down. Williams won't be a recommended DFS play in Week 17.

Terrance Williams secured 2-of-5 targets for 13 yards in the Cowboys' Week 15 loss to the Jets.

One of the lowest-impact No. 2 wideouts in the league, Williams may be playing his final few games as a Cowboys starter in Weeks 16-17.

Terrance Williams caught 3-of-5 targets for 38 yards in the Cowboys' Week 14 loss to the Packers.

Williams hasn't caught more than four passes in a game since Week 1, and is averaging 46 yards. He's not worth the hassle with Matt Cassel at quarterback.

Terrance Williams caught 2-of-3 targets for 63 yards in the Cowboys' Week 13 win over the Redskins on Monday night.

Williams hasn't had a 100-yard game all season and only remains useful if he scores a touchdown. The targets aren't there, as he's seen fewer than seven looks eight times. Williams' lone big play of the night was a 38-yard grab behind FS Dashon Goldson down the right sideline to set the Cowboys up for their first of four field goals. Williams is a touchdown-dependent WR4/5.

Terrance Williams caught 4-of-7 passes for 39 yards in the Cowboys' Week 12 loss to the Panthers.

Williams has now been held under 50 receiving yards in seven of Dallas' last nine games. With Matt Cassel taking back over as the Cowboys' quarterback following Tony Romo's latest injury, Williams should stay plastered to the waiver wire in fantasy leagues of all sizes.

Terrance Williams caught 4-of-4 targets for 79 yards and a touchdown in Dallas' Week 11 win over the Dolphins.

With Tony Romo back in action, Williams had his best game since Romo's last start in Week 2. The highlight was a 31-yard score where Williams embarrassed CB Jamar Taylor. T-Will clearly has more upside when Romo is in the lineup, but the same zero-catch downside. He'll be a boom-or-bust WR4 against the Panthers' elite defense on Thanksgiving.

Terrance Williams caught 2-of-3 targets for 33 yards in Dallas' Week 10 loss to the Bucs.

It was a normal day at the office for Williams. Although Tony Romo is coming back for Week 11, Williams is the only Cowboys skill player who won't see a big boost. He's a boom-or-bust WR4/5 no matter who is under center.
