Terrance Williams had two catches for 19 yards in Week 15 against the Eagles.
Williams was a non-factor after not being targeted last week. He managed to draw a 40-yard pass interference in the third quarter, but continued to be outplayed by Cole Beasley, who finished with four catches for 42 yards. Williams is safe to drop in re-draft leagues. Dec 15 - 1:21 AM

Date:

Terrance Williams wasn't targeted in the Cowboys' Week 14 win over the Bears.

Williams appears to have fallen behind Cole Beasley on the depth chart. Beasley has out-targeted Williams 13-6 over Dallas' past four games, a period in which Williams has caught just three passes. He's safely droppable for the final two weeks of the fantasy playoffs in re-draft leagues.
Dec 5 - 12:14 AM

Terrance Williams (finger) is practicing in full for Week 14 against the Bears.

Williams broke his fingertip in Week 12, but played on Thanksgiving and will be fine for Thursday night versus Chicago. He's settled in as a WR4 after a hot start.
Dec 2 - 9:25 PM

Terrance Williams had two catches for 39 yards in Thursday's Week 13 loss to the Eagles.

Williams didn't make his first catch until late in the fourth quarter and was targeted on Tony Romo's first interception. He appeared to give up on the play, allowing Eagles CB Cary Williams to make an easy pick. Williams hasn't found the end-zone since Week 7 and remains just a boom-or-bust WR4.
Nov 27 - 9:08 PM

Terrance Williams (broken fingertip) is active for Week 13 against the Eagles.

Williams will be a boom-or-bust WR4 threatening for a zero if he doesn't find the end zone. Inactive for the Cowboys are DT Josh Brent, QB Dustin Vaughan, OT Tony Hills, OT Donald Hawkins, LB Dekoda Watson, CB Tyler Patmon and S Jeff Heath.
Nov 27 - 3:11 PM

Terrance Williams (broken fingertip) is listed as probable for Thursday's Week 13 game against the Eagles.

Williams was upgraded to full on Wednesday after being limited the last two days. He'll wear a splint on his broken finger, but it was never a major concern. Williams is just a touchdown-dependent WR4 despite a favorable matchup with the Eagles' secondary.
Nov 26 - 2:42 PM

Terrance Williams (broken fingertip) was "limited" in Tuesday's practice, but is expected to be active for Thursday's game against the Eagles.

Williams will wear a splint for the Cowboys' annual Thanksgiving classic. Williams got off to a scorching-hot start this season, but has just 12 total catches over his past six games.

Nov 25 - 6:45 PM

Terrance Williams suffered a broken fingertip in Sunday night's win over the Giants.

Williams could be limited in practice this week, but shouldn't miss any time. Averaging just four targets over the last three games, he'll be a touchdown-dependent WR3 against the Eagles.
Nov 25 - 11:31 AM

Terrance Williams was held to one catch for 18 yards in Week 12.

After scoring six touchdowns through the first seven games, Williams has been limited to just 37 yards over the last three weeks. He continues to lose targets to Jason Witten and Cole Beasley on underneath routes. Williams will be a touchdown-dependent WR3 against the Eagles on Thursday.
Nov 24 - 1:34 AM

Terrance Williams held without a catch on two targets Week 10 against the Jaguars.

Williams got deep for what would have been a touchdown in the third quarter, but Romo underthrew him. After scoring six touchdowns through the first seven games, Williams has been held out of the end zone in each of the last three. He will be a WR3 against the Giants Week 12.
Nov 9 - 4:39 PM

Terrance Williams caught 2-of-7 targets for 19 yards in Dallas' Week 9 loss to the Cardinals.

Williams has been regressing for weeks now, but the blame for his quiet afternoon rests squarely on the shoulders of horrific backup quarterback Brandon Weeden. Weeden had zero completions to Williams or Dez Bryant before Dallas' meaningless final drive. Heavily reliant on touchdowns, Williams heads into Dallas' Week 10 trip to London as a boom-or-bust WR3.
Nov 2 - 4:43 PM

Terrance Williams caught six passes for 69 yards in the Cowboys' Week 8 loss to the Redskins.

Williams was targeted seven times on the night, with the missed connection coming on an early-game deep shot. But Williams was draped in rookie CB Bashaud Breeland's coverage. After eight games, Williams is on pace for a 50-814-12 line. We don't envision Williams reaching that touchdown total on his limited targets. He remains a sell-high candidate. Williams will be a WR3 vs. Arizona in Week 9.
Oct 28 - 12:53 AM

Terrance Williams caught one pass for an 18-yard touchdown in Sunday's Week 7 win over the Giants.

Williams worked back to a scrambling Tony Romo in the back of the end zone for his lone catch, his sixth touchdown in seven games. It's clearly not a sustainable scoring rate and his volume (five targets last two weeks) has been sapped because Dallas is not getting into any shootouts. It leaves Williams as a mere WR3, even in plus matchups like the one he'll face in Week 8 -- at Washington.
Oct 19 - 8:45 PM

Terrance Williams caught two passes for 70 yards in Sunday's Week 6 win at Seattle.

Both of Williams' catches were of the highlight-reel variety and the second one converted a huge third down that led the Seahawks on the drive that game them their first lead. He saw just two targets all day as the Cowboys sacrificed him to Richard Sherman some, but now has at least 70 yards in three straight games. Williams has another very difficult matchup against Prince Amukamara and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie in Week 7, making him a weak WR3 candidate. The Cowboys' dominant running game caps some of Williams' weekly yardage upside as they're not getting into the shootouts we expected.
Oct 12 - 8:21 PM

Terrance Williams caught 2-of-6 targets for 71 yards and a touchdown in Dallas' Week 5 win over the Texans.

Amazingly, the score was Williams' fifth in five games. The end-zone dominance has come despite just 26 total targets. Today's touchdown came on a broken play, with Tony Romo evading a J.J. Watt sack before finding Williams 43 yards down the field in the painted area. All the scores have elevated Williams' fantasy profile, but he'll remain a boom-or-bust WR3 until he starts drawing more consistent looks.
