Terrance Williams (questionable, ankle) is expected to play Sunday against the Broncos.
T-Will returned to a limited practice on Friday and should be ready to roll for Sunday's 4:25 PM ET start in Denver. Facing arguably the league's best secondary on the road, fantasy owners shouldn't be pursuing Williams this week. Sep 17 - 8:08 AM

Terrance Williams (ankle) returned to Cowboys practice on a limited basis Friday and is questionable for Week 2 against the Broncos.

He sat out Wednesday and Thursday's sessions. Williams sprained his ankle early in Dallas' Week 1 win over the Giants. He'll be out there in Denver.
Sep 15 - 3:10 PM

Cowboys WR Terrance Williams (ankle) did not practice Thursday.

It is his second missed session in a row, suggesting he is a long shot to play this week. Brice Butler will pick up the slack if Williams is forced to sit.

Terrance Williams (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.

Williams briefly went to the locker room with a sprained ankle Sunday night against the Giants but quickly returned to post a 6-68 line. Consider him day to day for now.
Sep 13 - 2:35 PM

Terrance Williams caught 6-of-7 targets for 68 yards in Week 1 against the Giants.

He led Dallas in receiving, but saw fewer targets than Dez Bryant and Jason Witten. Williams injured his ankle on the first series, but played through it. This will likely go down as one of his best games. Williams isn't a Week 2 waiver pickup.
Sep 11 - 12:24 AM

Terrance Williams went catch-less in the Cowboys' third preseason game.

Williams caught a long ball from Dak Prescott in the second quarter, but the completion was negated by a penalty on RT La’el Collins. Passed by Cole Beasley as Dallas' No. 2 receiver last season, Williams' current function in the Cowboys' offense is to block in the run game and stay out of the other guys' way. He has zero value in any form of fantasy football.
Aug 26 - 10:38 PM

Cowboys re-signed WR Terrance Williams to a four-year, $17 million contract with $9.5 million guaranteed.

The deal includes a $5 million signing bonus. After spending his first four years in Dallas, Williams is back for four more. Williams has always underwhelmed as a low-end No. 2 NFL wide receiver. At best, he'll be the Cowboys' No. 4 receiving option behind Dez Bryant, Cole Beasley and Jason Witten.
Mar 10 - 6:48 PM

Profootballtalk reports the Cowboys expect Terrance Williams to leave in free agency.

ESPN Dallas had a similar report in early February. Williams' expected departure helps explain the Cowboys' interest in free agent Kenny Britt. A 27-year-old chronic body catcher who doesn't do anything particularly well, Williams is nevertheless likely to get overpaid by another team in free agency.
Mar 7 - 1:26 PM

ESPN Dallas doesn't expect the Cowboys to re-sign free agent Terrance Williams.

Williams is unlikely to be back after fighting for targets behind Dez Bryant, Cole Beasley and Jason Witten most of the last two seasons. A three-plus year starter, Williams is a prime candidate to be overpaid in free agency. Dallas could re-sign Brice Butler to replace Williams' outside role.

Feb 3 - 6:42 PM

Cowboys Executive VP Stephen Jones said the team would like to re-sign impending free agents Terrance Williams and Brice Butler.

On a good day, Williams is the Cowboys' No. 4 receiving option behind Dez Bryant, Cole Beasley and Jason Witten. Williams is a candidate to get overpaid this offseason. We would love to see the Cowboys let Williams walk and give superior talent Butler a legitimate chance to nail down the No. 2 wideout role.
Jan 24 - 6:41 PM

Terrance Williams secured four-of-six targets for 68 yards Sunday in the Cowboys' Divisional Round loss to the Packers.

Williams gave the Cowboys a spark by catching a couple deep passes but also committed an inexcusable drop in the first half on a play where he was wide open. Sunday capped a disappointing contract year for the 27-year-old. Even with Dez Bryant injured early in the season, T-Will could only muster 44 catches for a career-low 594 yards and four touchdowns. If he returns to Big D, he’d be no better than the Cowboys’ No. 4 receiving option behind Bryant, Cole Beasley and Jason Witten.
Jan 15 - 10:02 PM

Terrance Williams caught 3-of-5 targets for 33 yards and a touchdown Week 17 against the Eagles.

Williams had almost all of his success with Tony Romo in the game in the second quarter. He hooked up with the veteran quarterback for a third-down conversion on Romo’s first completion since Week 12 of last year, and he caught Romo’s first touchdown pass of the season later on the same drive. Williams has been surprisingly productive over the last four games, but he will be a touchdown-or-bust DFS option in the playoffs.
Jan 1 - 4:18 PM

Terrance Williams caught 4-of-4 targets for 61 yards in the Cowboys' Week 16 win over the Lions.

Williams literally did all of his damage on one second-half series, making a couple tough grabs. The 61 yards marked Williams' second time over 30 yards since the Week 7 bye. Williams could play more snaps in Week 17 against the Eagles if the Cowboys rest Dez Bryant and Cole Beasley some.

Terrance Williams caught 3-of-4 passes for 30 yards in Week 15 against the Bucs.

Williams was a non-factor after leading Dallas in receiving last week. He isn't a fantasy consideration for Week 16 against Detroit.
Mon, Dec 19, 2016 12:18:00 AM

Terrance Williams caught 5-of-6 targets for 76 yards and a touchdown in Week 14 against the Giants.

Williams was left wide open for a 31-yard TD on the Cowboys’ second drive. He managed one of his better games with Dez Bryant getting shut down. Williams had just nine catches over his last six games going into Sunday night. He remains off the fantasy radar.
