Cowboys WR Terrance Williams said he is not worried about a new contract.
Williams is set to earn $1.686 million in the final year of his rookie deal. "I’m just ready to be quiet and work and let my play speak for it, because you can always talk what you’re going to do and then if it doesn’t go as planned, it’s like a slap to your face," Williams said. "So I’m just ready to work and just show my play." Williams has been miscast as a No. 2 receiver, but the Cowboys have not managed to find an upgrade. With little else behind Dez Bryant, Williams should once again play a prominent role. May 19 - 12:25 PM

Terrance Williams will get a raise to $1.686 million in 2016.

According to the CBA established in 2011, players picked between Rounds 3-7 can earn a raise in the last year of their rookie contract if they play 35 percent of the team's offensive or defensive snaps in two of their first three seasons. Williams has played at least 67.9 percent of the Cowboys' snaps in each of his three seasons, which qualifies him for a $978,500 raise. Williams' teammate, S J.J. Wilcox, will also get a raise in 2016.

Terrance Williams caught 8-of-9 targets for 173 yards in Week 17 against Washington.

Williams closes out the season with a 52/840/3 line. He was overmatched when asked to step up as the No. 1 receiver in place of Dez Bryant, and is a low-end secondary option. Despite the big game, the Cowboys should look to upgrade on Williams this offseason.
Jan 3 - 6:55 PM

Terrance Williams caught 4-of-10 targets for 62 yards in the Cowboys Week 16 loss to Buffalo.

Even with Dez Bryant sidelined, Williams didn't have much of an impact. His highlight was a 22-yard catch on third down. Williams won't be a recommended DFS play in Week 17.

Terrance Williams secured 2-of-5 targets for 13 yards in the Cowboys' Week 15 loss to the Jets.

One of the lowest-impact No. 2 wideouts in the league, Williams may be playing his final few games as a Cowboys starter in Weeks 16-17.

Terrance Williams caught 3-of-5 targets for 38 yards in the Cowboys' Week 14 loss to the Packers.

Williams hasn't caught more than four passes in a game since Week 1, and is averaging 46 yards. He's not worth the hassle with Matt Cassel at quarterback.

Terrance Williams caught 2-of-3 targets for 63 yards in the Cowboys' Week 13 win over the Redskins on Monday night.

Williams hasn't had a 100-yard game all season and only remains useful if he scores a touchdown. The targets aren't there, as he's seen fewer than seven looks eight times. Williams' lone big play of the night was a 38-yard grab behind FS Dashon Goldson down the right sideline to set the Cowboys up for their first of four field goals. Williams is a touchdown-dependent WR4/5.

Terrance Williams caught 4-of-7 passes for 39 yards in the Cowboys' Week 12 loss to the Panthers.

Williams has now been held under 50 receiving yards in seven of Dallas' last nine games. With Matt Cassel taking back over as the Cowboys' quarterback following Tony Romo's latest injury, Williams should stay plastered to the waiver wire in fantasy leagues of all sizes.

Terrance Williams caught 4-of-4 targets for 79 yards and a touchdown in Dallas' Week 11 win over the Dolphins.

With Tony Romo back in action, Williams had his best game since Romo's last start in Week 2. The highlight was a 31-yard score where Williams embarrassed CB Jamar Taylor. T-Will clearly has more upside when Romo is in the lineup, but the same zero-catch downside. He'll be a boom-or-bust WR4 against the Panthers' elite defense on Thanksgiving.

Terrance Williams caught 2-of-3 targets for 33 yards in Dallas' Week 10 loss to the Bucs.

It was a normal day at the office for Williams. Although Tony Romo is coming back for Week 11, Williams is the only Cowboys skill player who won't see a big boost. He's a boom-or-bust WR4/5 no matter who is under center.
Sun, Nov 15, 2015 05:09:00 PM

Terrance Williams managed three catches for 27 yards on five targets in Week 9 against the Eagles.

Williams had a drop in the first half and a long touchdown called back for pass interference. He was the No. 4 pass-game option, behind Dez Bryant, Cole Beasley, and Jason Witten. Williams isn't more than a WR4.

Terrance Williams snagged both of his targets for 20 yards in the Cowboys' Week 8 loss to the Seahawks.

Williams didn’t do much even while Dez was out, so with Bryant back in the lineup Sunday, we should have seen this one coming. Williams will fade deep into the WR4 abyss next time out against the Eagles.
Sun, Nov 1, 2015 09:14:00 PM

Terrance Williams caught 4-of-7 targets for 70 yards in Dallas' Week 7 loss to the Giants.

The 70 yards were Williams' most since Week 2. Williams could have had a 40-yard touchdown in the third quarter, but was laughably under-thrown by Matt Cassel. Williams also ran a poor route when Cassel threw a pick six one series before. Williams won't be on the WR3 radar against the Seahawks in Week 8.

Terrance Williams caught 2-of-6 targets for 30 yards in Dallas' Week 5 loss to the Patriots.

Williams could have had a touchdown on Dallas' final play, but a horrendous Brandon Weeden overthrew him in the end zone. Williams hasn't cleared 30 yards since Tony Romo went down, and is getting harder to justify as a WR3.
Sun, Oct 11, 2015 08:09:00 PM

Terrance Williams caught 3-of-10 targets for 49 yards and a touchdown in Sunday night's Week 4 loss to the Saints.

Williams had only one catch before the Cowboys’ final drive. He beat Saints CB Delvin Breaux for a 17-yard fourth-quarter touchdown. Williams was Brandon Weeden’s top option after getting held catchless last week. He’s on track for a 48/772/8 line through four games. Williams will be a low-end WR3 for Week 5.
