Terrance Williams (back) is on the Week 2 injury report, but practicing in full.

Williams' Week 1 injury was merely a bruise. He'll be a WR3 for Sunday's showdown with the Titans.
Sep 11 - 6:17 PM

Terrance Williams caught 4-of-7 targets for 50 yards and a touchdown in Dallas' Week 1 loss to the 49ers.

Williams' fourth-quarter score was the Cowboys' lone passing touchdown. Williams was wide open for a potential 68-yarder in the first quarter, but Tony Romo didn't see him, instead targeting Dez Bryant in triple coverage for an interception. Williams is going to be an up-and-down fantasy option opposite target hogs Bryant, Jason Witten and DeMarco Murray, but offers enough playmaking ability and red-zone chops to suffice as a WR3.
Sep 7 - 8:04 PM

Terrance Williams (bruised back) is active for Week 1 against the 49ers.

Williams' "injury" was never considered serious. He's a high-upside WR3 for a potential shootout. Inactive for the Cowboys are QB Dustin Vaughan, LB Korey Toomer, DE Jack Crawford, OT Donald Hawkins, OT Darrion Weems, DE Anthony Spencer and NT Terrell McClain. DT Henry Melton will come off the bench as he continues to return to full health.

According to ESPN Dallas, the back injury that forced Terrance Williams to miss Thursday's practice was a "bruise."

Williams fell on his back in Wednesday's workout. He returned to practice Friday and is on track to start Sunday's possible shootout with San Francisco.

Terrance Williams (back) returned to practice Friday.

Williams sat out with a back issue on Thursday. It's not believed to be serious. We'd expect him to be lined up opposite Dez Bryant on the Cowboys' first offensive play Sunday. Williams is our No. 32 receiver for Week 1.

Terrance Williams' back injury isn't considered serious.

Williams was held out of Thursday's practice, but it was purely precautionary. He has a bruise. Williams will be ready to go as a high-upside WR3 for Sunday's potential shootout with the 49ers.

Sep 4 - 5:25 PM

Terrance Williams missed Thursday's practice with a back issue.

Williams wasn't on Wednesday's injury report, so it's apparently a new injury. It's being called a "bruise." Williams should be considered questionable, but likely to play. It's quite possible his Thursday absence was simply precautionary.
Sep 4 - 4:27 PM

Cowboys WR Terrance Williams caught one pass for two yards against the Dolphins Saturday.

His one catch came on a bubble screen. Williams has only three receptions for 21 yards through three preseason games. He has not shown well, but he should be given a big role in a pass-heavy attack. Williams is being drafted at the end of the seventh round.
Aug 23 - 9:59 PM

Terrance Williams has "done everything asked of him" so far at camp.

"There should be no worry about Terrance Williams as the No. 2 receiver," said beat man Todd Archer. In the first preseason game, Williams had two catches for 19 yards on two targets while playing 18 snaps. He's going to see a ton of single coverage this year while playing every snap opposite Dez Bryant.

The Cowboys' coaches reportedly have no reservations about Terrance Williams.

Williams is penned in as a starter opposite Dez Bryant. Although we've seen James Jones-ish talent, ESPN Dallas says Cowboys coaches believe Williams will slide into the role without issue, and don't believe the game is too big for him. It's a monster opportunity for box-score production thanks to the presence of pass-happy Scott Linehan and Dez Bryant's role as a weekly defensive magnet.

Jun 9 - 12:03 PM

Terrance Williams is locked in as a starter following the release of Miles Austin.

Per the Dallas Morning News, the Cowboys were pleased with Williams' production and development last season. He posted a 44-736-5 line despite playing on just 700-of-1025 (68.2 percent) of the snaps. With Dez Bryant and Jason Witten hogging attention from defenses in Scott Linehan's pass-happy scheme, Williams is going to be a no-brainer breakout candidate.
Mar 12 - 11:30 AM

ESPN Dallas believes it's "time" for Terrance Williams to take over as the Cowboys' clear-cut No. 2 receiver opposite Dez Bryant.

Miles Austin and his $5.5 million salary are going to be released, leaving Williams locked into a starting role. Cole Beasley and Dwayne Harris could battle for No. 3 duties, or the Cowboys may look to add a cheap veteran or a late-round pick to the mix. Either way, Williams will offer breakout potential as Tony Romo's No. 3 option in new "OC" Scott Linehan's pass-happy attack.

Feb 4 - 3:29 PM

Terrance Williams caught one pass for 39 yards in Sunday night's Week 17 loss to the Eagles.

He was targeted only two times in the passing game. Williams rotated with Miles Austin in two-wide sets and made an impressive 39-yard catch against tight coverage in the second quarter. He ends his rookie campaign with 44 receptions, 736 yards, and five touchdowns. With Austin widely expected to be released in the offseason, Williams should return as the Cowboys' clear-cut No. 2 receiver.
