Marquise Goodwin hauled in 3-of-6 targets for 26 yards Week 2 against the Seahawks.
Goodwin actually tied for the team lead with Pierre Garcon in both catches and yards, although he dropped what would have been an important catch with the 49ers driving in the second half. Goodwin now has 12 targets through two games, but he is at best a big-play dart throw in fantasy. Sep 17 - 8:31 PM

Marquise Goodwin hauled in 3-of-6 targets for 21 yards in the 49ers' Week 1 loss to the Panthers.

Goodwin had a chance to make a big early play, but he let a great pass from Brian Hoyer go through his hands deep down the field. The two will certainly hook up on a few long plays this year, but Goodwin will likely struggle for consistent production. He is not an option next week in Seattle.
Sep 10 - 8:12 PM

Marquise Goodwin is listed as the second wide receiver against the Panthers for Week 1.

He's been the favorite to start for most of camp and the 49ers letting Jeremy Kerley go sealed the deal. Goodwin's world-class speed should add another wrinkle to Kyle Shanahan's offense, but he likely won't be seeing enough volume to be a reliable fantasy option. The former Bill is more of a deep-league stash and could help once the bye weeks come around.
Sep 5 - 6:48 PM's Joe Fann confirms WR Marquise Goodwin will be a Week 1 starter.

Goodwin has started both of the first two preseason games. He's going to open the year opposite Pierre Garcon, with Jeremy Kerley playing the slot. Goodwin has never been more than a deep threat, but has some upside in the Taylor Gabriel role of Kyle Shanahan's offense.
Aug 26 - 4:21 PM

According to the Sacramento Bee, Pierre Garcon and Marquise Goodwin are "clearly" the 49ers' top-two wideouts at training camp.

Jeremy Kerley will man the slot in three-receiver sets, and Aldrick Robinson is the favorite for No. 4 duties. Rookie slot prospect Trent Taylor has stood out since the spring. Slated for the "Taylor Gabriel Role" in Kyle Shanahan's offense, Goodwin is a 4.2-something speedster who could threaten for a few big plays this season. He's made some big plays early in camp.
Jul 30 - 5:11 PM

49ers agreed to terms with WR Marquise Goodwin, formerly of the Bills, on a two-year, $8 million contract.

A literal Olympian, Goodwin has blazing speed, but just 49 career catches in four years. 29 of those came in 2016, however, while Goodwin has never had an offensive coach like Kyle Shanahan. He could be a Taylor Gabriel-type weapon for a team rebuilding its receiver corps from the ground up.

The Redskins have reportedly shown interest in free agent Marquise Goodwin.

A track star who happens to make his money playing football, Goodwin would be an uninspiring replacement for DeSean Jackson, to say the least. The Redskins seem to be pushing in their chips on Jay Gruden's offensive system while severely downsizing their talent. The Washington Post reports the Skins have also shown interest in free agents DT Terrell McClain and WR Andre Holmes.
Mar 7 - 8:36 PM

The Buffalo News expects the Bills to offer free agent Marquise Goodwin a contract near the veteran minimum.

Goodwin set career highs with Sammy Watkins missing most of 2016, but he has been inconsistent and struggled with injuries. The Bills don't view him as more than a No. 4 receiver. Goodwin should find more money on the open market.
Mar 1 - 7:19 PM

Marquise Goodwin absorbed one-of-five targets for eight yards Sunday in the Bills' Week 17 loss to the Jets.

Goodwin exploded for a career-high 112 yards in Week 2 but only topped 50 yards in one of his next 13 games. He has big-time speed but that’s about all he offers. Goodwin was only fantasy relevant when Sammy Watkins was out with a foot injury earlier this year. The former Olympic long jumper will hit free agency this offseason.
Jan 1 - 4:44 PM

Marquise Goodwin caught 3-of-4 targets for 43 yards in the Bills' Week 15 win over the Browns.

The role player has run out of fantasy value with Sammy Watkins back in action.

Marquise Goodwin failed to catch either of his two targets in the Bills' Week 14 loss to the Steelers.

Goodwin got the start opposite Sammy Watkins, but with Watkins and Robert Woods healthy, Goodwin is back as the lightly-used deep threat. He's no longer on the fantasy radar ahead of Week 15 against the Browns.

Marquise Goodwin caught 4-of-8 targets for 35 yards in the Bills' Week 13 loss to the Raiders.

Goodwin entered this one with a minor wrist issue, but he ended up leading all Bills receivers in snaps with Robert Woods (knee) and Percy Harvin (illness) out. His eight targets were second-most to Sammy Watkins' nine. Goodwin hasn't done much in recent weeks. He'll be a WR4 next week against the Steelers.

Marquise Goodwin (wrist) is active for Week 13 against the Raiders.

Goodwin will probably lead this receiver group in snaps with Sammy Watkins (foot) still not 100 percent and Percy Harvin (illness) and Robert Woods (knee) out. Goodwin is a dart-throw WR4 against a leaky defense.

Marquise Goodwin (wrist, questionable) returned to practice Friday.

Goodwin hurt his wrist in Thursday's practice, but it appears he'll be fine for Sunday against the Raiders. With Robert Woods (knee) and Percy Harvin (illness) sidelined, Goodwin should lead the Bills' receivers in snaps.

Marquise Goodwin injured his wrist in Thursday's practice, and was unable to finish.

Yikes. With Percy Harvin and Robert Woods also likely to miss Sunday's game against the Raiders, Tyrod Taylor could be left with a snap-counted Sammy Watkins. Taylor always offers major upside, but his Week 13 downside is shaping up as considerable. Goodwin's status will be updated no later than Friday.
