Daniel Fells' brother, Darren is a 27-year-old former basketball player. The Seahawks liked his 6-foot-7, 280-pound frame, but he lasted less than two months on the roster. He's unlikely to ever crack a regular-season roster.

Darren Fells - TE - Seahawks

The Seahawks initially worked out TE Darren Fells as a defensive end last week.

Seattle wasn't impressed with Fells at the position, so they had him run routes. They obviously liked what they saw out of the 6-foot-7, 280-pound former basketball player, and are reportedly anxious to get Fells in pads. Fells faces long odds, but coach Pete Carroll has never shied from a project.

Seahawks signed TE Darren Fells to a three-year contract.

Daniel Fells' brother, Darren has a basketball background, playing internationally since graduating from UC Irvine in 2008. He checks in at a mountainous 6-foot-7, 280 pounds. It's another unconventional signing for a team that's thrived on them, but Fells will be facing long odds of cracking the Seahawks' roster because of his lack of experience. He hasn't played football since high school.
