Chiefs signed ILB Sio Moore, formerly of the Colts.
Moore was released by the Colts earlier this week when Indy got back from London. Moore started all four games for the Colts, but received terrible marks for his pass coverage from Pro Football Focus. He'll provide depth behind Derrick Johnson and Justin March. Colts waived ILB Sio Moore.

Moore is a sub-replacement level player the Colts had been starting at inside linebacker. His release is surprising in that he's a starter, but completely unsurprising based on his play. Inside linebacker is a massive trouble spot for Indy.

Colts ILB Sio Moore has a "pretty significant" hamstring injury.

Moore is supposedly just week to week, but any time a bit player suffers anything other than a day-to-day injury, they're a candidate for injured reserve. Moore played only 66 snaps in 2015.

Colts ILB Sio Moore has been arrested for reckless driving in Indianapolis.

Per police, Moore was driving "at least" 100 miles per hour, and "weaving in and out of traffic in a reckless manner." Acquired from the Raiders on the eve of Week 1, Moore made 12 appearances, playing 66 snaps at inside linebacker. Going on 26, Moore is signed for $719,170 next season.

Colts acquired LB Sio Moore from the Raiders in exchange for a sixth-round draft pick in 2016.

We're going to go out on a limb and guess this deal works out better than Colts GM Ryan Grigson's Jerry Hughes and Trent Richardson trades. For whatever reason, Moore was immediately disliked by the new Jack Del Rio coaching staff in Oakland despite piling up 7.5 sacks, 140 tackles, and two forced fumbles in his first two NFL seasons. The 66th overall pick in the 2013 draft, Moore turned 25 years old in May. He can play inside and outside linebacker and should become a contributor as the season moves along. The Colts also acquire Moore's contract, which puts him under Indy's control for near-minimum base salaries the next two seasons. The Colts should win this one pretty handily.

Coach Jack Del Rio said LB Sio Moore is "competing to be a role player somewhere."

Moore missed the entire offseason and most of training camp recovering from hip surgery and an undisclosed injury. He’s been passed on the depth chart by Malcolm Smith. Moore started 22 games his first two seasons, but isn’t guaranteed a spot on the 53-man roster.

The San Jose Mercury News speculates Raiders WLB Sio Moore could be on the trade block.

Moore was held out of the first two preseason games with a hip injury and did not appear to play any defensive snaps in the third exhibition contest. Coach Jack Del Rio said Moore was "competing to be a role player" after missing most of the preseason.

Raiders WLB Sio Moore (hip) is practicing on Saturday.

That means his time on the PUP list is done. Moore recorded three sacks in 11 starts last season. Moore is expected to start on the weak side, but Malcolm Smith could push him in camp.

Raiders placed WLB Sio Moore (hip) on active/PUP.

Moore underwent "major" hip surgery in the offseason and needs more time. He was initially expected to be ready for the start of training camp. Moore provided some pass-rush juice opposite Khalil Mack last season, but was bottom-five among 4-3 outside linebackers in missed tackles. The Raiders signed LB Malcolm Smith as insurance and competition for Moore this summer.

Raiders WLB Sio Moore (hip) is expected to be ready for training camp.

Moore will likely miss the majority of OTAs recovering from December hip surgery, but should be close to 100 percent for the start of camp. He had 90 tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble in 11 games prior to going on I.R. Moore will return as a starter in new coach Jack Del Rio's scheme.

Raiders placed ILB Sio Moore on injured reserve with a hip injury, ending his season.

Moore's injury isn't believed to be overly serious, but he wasn't going to be ready for the season's final two games. An 11-game starter, Moore made plays for one of the league's worst defenses, tallying 90 tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble. He graded out negatively in Pro Football Focus' ratings, but made improvements as the year wore on. Regardless of who's calling the shots for Oakland in 2015, Moore will be back as a starter.

Raiders LB Sio Moore (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 3.

Nick Roach (concussion) is questionable for the game after missing the last four weeks. Miles Burris has been filling in at middle linebacker for Roach, but will likely shift outside with Moore down. Kaluka Maiava could start in the middle if Roach is unable to go. The Raiders have given up a league-high 400 rushing yards through the first two games of the season.
