Ravens DE Kapron Lewis-Moore (knee) has been a full participant at OTAs.
Lewis-Moore is healthy after missing all of 2013 on the NFI list. He's the top backup to Chris Canty at left end, but should compete with rookie Timmy Jernigan and Brandon Williams for a starting role on the right side this summer. May 31 - 5:02 PM

Ravens DE Kapron Lewis-Moore (knee) is participating in minicamp.

Lewis-Moore missed his entire rookie season on the NFI list with a torn ACL. Now that he's finally healthy, he should compete for Arthur Jones' old role in the Ravens' defense. "Kapron looked good, no side effects from the knee that I could see," coach John Harbaugh said. "When he starts to load it with double-teams and things like that, coming off of them, I think we'll see more."

The Ravens plan to give DE Kapron Lewis-Moore a chance to earn significant playing time this season.

Lewis-Moore suffered a torn ACL in 2013 and is in his first full offseason with the Ravens. He's currently the top backup to Chris Canty and could see regular snaps in sub-packages. Lewis-Moore should be a part of the defensive line rotation this year provided he stays healthy.

Ravens sixth-round DE Kapron Lewis-Moore (torn ACL, NFI) returned to practice Wednesday.

It's Lewis-Moore's first action as a pro. He tore his ACL in the BCS National Championship last season with Notre Dame. The Ravens have three weeks to either activate him or send Lewis-Moore to injured reserve.

Ravens agreed to terms with No. 200 overall pick DE Kapron Lewis-Moore on a four-year contract.

Lewis-Moore recorded 12 sacks in four years at Notre Dame, but he tore his ACL in the BCS title game against Alabama and isn't expected to contribute this season. The 6-foot-4, 298-pound lineman will open training camp on the PUP list, but he could become a factor in 2014.

Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome hinted No. 200 overall pick DE Kapron Lewis-Moore (knee surgery) may indeed "redshirt" this season.

The former Golden Domer tore his ACL in the BCS title game. "He's a guy that we're going to bring along and rehab," Newsome said. "If we get something out of him in 2013, it's a plus." Lewis-Moore was a playmaker who pushed the pocket in South Bend. He could be a factor in 2014.

Ravens selected Notre Dame DE Kapron Lewis-Moore with the No. 200 overall pick.

Lewis-Moore (6-foot-4, 298) tore his right ACL in January's BCS title game loss to Alabama and may "redshirt" his first NFL season. He also may prove worth the wait. A highly active lineman, Lewis-Moore registered 22 career tackles for loss in South Bend, with 12 sacks and five forced fumbles. When healthy, he pushes the pocket and stuffs the run. It's another nice luxury pick for the constantly reloading Ravens.
