Seymour is facing a four-game suspension to open the season and did not play well last year anyway.

NFL suspended Browns G/C Ryan Seymour four games for violating the league's policy on performance enhancing substances.

He'll be eligible to return in Week 5. Seymour, 25, appeared in 11 games for Cleveland last year, starting three and getting destroyed as both a run and pass blocker. The suspension will work against his chances at final cuts.

Browns re-signed OL Ryan Seymour.

Seymour had been an exclusive right free agent. He started Weeks 14-16 before missing the season finale with a hamstring injury. All three of Seymour's starts came at center. He'll compete to back up Alex Mack in '15.

49ers signed OG Ryan Seymour.

A seventh-round pick in April's draft, Seymour was signed off the Seahawks' practice squad. Seattle and San Francisco love to steal players from each other. Seymour will provide interior line depth. Whether he's active for Week 15 will depend on LG Mike Iupati's (knee) status.

Seahawks signed seventh-round OG Ryan Seymour to a four-year contract.

A pure guard at 6-foot-5, 300, Seymour showed some athleticism (5.09 forty) and strength (30 bench reps) before the draft, despite receiving little to no buzz. He'll compete for a job behind James Carpenter, J.R. Sweezy, and John Moffitt.

Seahawks selected Vanderbilt G Ryan Seymour with the No. 220 overall pick.

Seymour started 35 games in the SEC, playing at every position along the line. He ran a 5.09 forty at his Pro Day and did 30 reps on the bench press. He'll try to crack the Seahawks' roster as a backup guard, where James Carpenter and John Moffitt are the starters.
