Josh Hill contributed three catches for 54 yards on six targets Sunday in the Saints’ Divisional Round loss to the Vikings.
His longest gain came in the second quarter on a 22-yard screen pass from Drew Brees. After catching just 16 balls during the regular season, Hill sprung to life with six grabs for 103 yards in his two postseason games. With Coby Fleener coming back from injury, Hill won't be an appealing fantasy option in 2018. Jan 14 - 10:01 PM

Josh Hill hauled in 3-of-4 targets for 49 yards and a touchdown in the Saints' Wild Card win over the Panthers.

Hill caught just 16 passes in the regular season, but he showed up in a big way on Sunday. He was left wide open on play action for a nine-yard score in the second quarter, and he made a great 25-yard catch to help set up another score just before the half. Hill popped up again with a big catch after the Panthers closed the lead in the fourth quarter. Despite the solid game, Hill will be tough to roster next week in Minnesota.

Saints TE Josh Hill exited Week 4 with a possible concussion.

He left in the second quarter to be evaluated. With Hill out, Coby Fleener should see more consistent snaps in the second half.

Saints TE Josh Hill (leg) has passed his physical, and "did well" on his conditioning test.

Hill sat out OTAs, but has gotten healthy after breaking his fibula in December. Hill should be good for his usual 15-18 catches this season.

Saints TE Josh Hill (leg) is expected to resume running soon.

Per Nick Underhill of the New Orleans Advocate, Hill is "progressing well" in his recovery from a broken fibula. Hill probably won't be ready for OTAs but should be fine by training camp. Coby Fleener remains the lead tight end in New Orleans, though Hill was starting to cut into his workload before he got hurt last year.

Saints placed TE Josh Hill on injured reserve with a broken fibula, ending his season.

Coby Fleener will take over as the Saints' No. 1 tight end, although blocker John Phillips has been seeing more action recently and should inherit a big chunk of Hill's running-game snaps. Although the Saints have refused to commit to Hill as a key piece of their offense, he is a terrific athlete who has always excelled when given passing-game opportunities, and made strides as a blocker in 2016. He'll definitely be back at his $1.65 million salary in 2017.

Saints TE Josh Hill suffered a broken fibula Week 13 against the Lions.

Hill also suffered an ankle injury, but it is not believed to be broken. It is a tough turn of events for a player who had been taking over the starting job in the last several weeks. With Hill out for the season, Coby Fleener should have steadier snap and route totals moving forward. In the first year of a three-year, $7.1 million deal, Hill will be back to compete for a role next season.

Saints TE Josh Hill was on crutches and in a walking boot after injuring his right ankle in Sunday's loss to the Lions.

Hill went down early, but was never formally ruled out. Instead he was slapped with a "questionable" tag despite needing crutches. Coach Sean Payton always lies about injuries. Hill has become a bigger part of the Saints' offense in recent weeks, but with just four games left, he could be headed to injured reserve if he has a high-ankle sprain.

Saints TE Josh Hill (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 4.

It's a downgrade from last week, when Hill was listed as questionable. Coby Fleener is locked in as a mid-range TE1.

Saints TE Josh Hill (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday.

It looks like he’ll miss another week. Michael Hoomanawanui will continue backing up Coby Fleener.

Saints TE Josh Hill (ankle) is questionable for Week 3.

Hill made progress this week, but should miss his second straight game. Coby Fleener will continue to have an every-down role on Monday night.

Saints TE Josh Hill (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 2.

Hill is week to week with a high-ankle sprain. His absence increases Coby Fleener's snaps.

Saints TE Josh Hill (ankle) missed practice all week and is not expected to play in Week 2 against the Giants.

He has a high-ankle sprain. Hill isn't a fantasy factor by himself, but his absence ensures Coby Fleener will not be losing any playing time, and will also force the Saints to use more of Michael Thomas as a base three-receiver team, as opposed to one that could employ doses of two-tight end sets.

Saints TE Josh Hill left Sunday's game with an ankle injury and did not return.

It's believed to be a high-ankle sprain, which will cost Hill multiple weeks. Hill went down early, before he was even targeted. Per Profootballtalk, the Saints are preparing to sign Jake Stoneburner, an indication they expect Hill to miss time. He'll undergo further testing and have his status updated Monday.

Saints re-signed restricted free agent TE Josh Hill to a three-year contract.

New Orleans decided to match the Bears' offer sheet. The move is somewhat surprising considering how little cap room the Saints have. Hill carried some sleeper appeal last offseason after the Saints traded Jimmy Graham to Seattle but he was a non-factor in fantasy with just 16 catches for 120 yards and two touchdowns. Just as he was overshadowed by Benjamin Watson in 2015, Hill will take a backseat to former Colt Coby Fleener in 2016.
