Jaron Brown caught 4-of-11 targets for 73 yards in the Cardinals' Week 2 win over the Colts.
The Colts focused their defensive attention on Larry Fitzgerald, which opened things up for Brown and J.J. Nelson on the outside. Both ripped off chunk-yardage gains, and Brown led the team in targets. Brown's fantasy outlook is still very much tied to John Brown's (quad) health. If John is out for Week 3 against the Cowboys, Jaron will be worth WR4/flex consideration. Sep 17 - 4:32 PM

Jaron Brown was not officially targeted in Week 1.

Brown did see a couple passes thrown his way, but they were negated by penalty. On the bright side, he did get the start, and almost all of J.J. Nelson's production came in garbage time. Still, Jaron is unlikely to return fantasy value while John Brown is healthy.
Sep 10 - 5:43 PM

Jaron Brown is listed as the second wide receiver on the Cardinals depth chart for Week 1.

He did get the start in the third preseason game, but coach Bruce Arians continues to rotate guys opposite Larry Fitzgerald in two-wide sets and John Brown did play well to close out the preseason. On top of that, David Johnson is going to take away plenty of targets, so there are a lot of things working against Jaron to make him a desirable fantasy target.
Sep 5 - 5:51 PM

Jaron Brown caught 2-of-4 targets for nine yards in the Cardinals' third preseason game.

Brown started alongside Larry Fitzgerald and J.J. Nelson, but Arizona rotated five receivers with the first-team offense. Brown has been talked up by coach Bruce Arians, but is coming off a torn ACL and is a pedestrian talent. If John Brown is healthy, he should have no trouble leaping Jaron out wide.
Aug 26 - 8:58 PM

Coach Bruce Arians said Jaron Brown is the Cardinals' No. 2 receiver.

Arians added a "right now," but Brown has taken hold of the job while John Brown (quad) has been nursing a quad strain for the past three weeks. A fifth-year possession-type receiver, Brown hasn't gotten many opportunities, but he was pushing at the No. 2 gig last season when Michael Floyd was scuffling. Brown ended up tearing his ACL in October. He's been all systems go in camp.
Aug 16 - 11:03 AM

Cardinals coach Bruce Arians indicated he is optimistic about WR Jaron Brown's (ACL) health.

Brown was poised to assert himself into a bigger 2016 role before tearing his ACL late last October. The Cardinals liked him enough to sign Brown to a one-year extension less than a month later, ensuring he spent another year with the club. "We’re keeping him out of team drills because I don’t want to see him cut, but he’s running routes full speed," Arians said. "He looks great. Actually, his computer numbers are faster than they’ve ever been."
May 25 - 12:31 AM

Cardinals WR Jaron Brown (knee) is participating in individual drills at OTAs.

Brown tore his ACL in October and remains on track in his recovery. He should be ready to roll for the most part once training camp opens. A coaches' pet, Brown will battle for one of the Cardinals' final receiver jobs.
May 24 - 2:23 PM

Cardinals signed WR Jaron Brown to a one-year extension through 2017.

Brown is on I.R. with a torn ACL he suffered last month. It's a good-faith move on behalf of the Cardinals, who clearly have faith in Brown's recovery. With Michael Floyd set to become a free agent, Brown provides quality depth.

Cardinals WR Jaron Brown suffered an ACL tear Sunday night.

Brown had been playing a bigger role with Michael Floyd struggling and John Brown (hamstrings, sickle-cell) battling through injury. The Cardinals will now rely on J.J. Nelson, who turned seven targets into three catches for 84 yards Sunday night.

Cardinals WR Jaron Brown left Week 7 against Seattle with a knee injury.

It's to the same knee that cost Brown practice time this week. Brown suffered the setback in the second quarter and was ruled out for the game. J.J. Nelson is playing in three-wide sets.

Cardinals WR Jaron Brown (knee) is questionable for Week 7 against Seattle.

Brown got in a limited practice Friday after sitting out the last two days. He'll be a game-time decision on Sunday night. J.J. Nelson will see more snaps if Brown is held out.

Cardinals WR Jaron Brown (knee) didn't practice on Wednesday.

He hurt his knee late in Monday night's win over the Jets. Brown acknowledged that he may have to play with a brace Sunday against the Seahawks. With so many mouths to feed in Arizona, Brown isn't a realistic fantasy option.

Cardinals WR Jaron Brown (knee) is day to day, and will likely play in Week 7 with a brace.

Brown went down late in the fourth quarter on Monday night. Coach Bruce Arians didn't seem overly concerned about his status on Tuesday. Brown has become a steady presence in the Cardinals' receiver rotation behind Larry Fitzgerald.

Jaron Brown caught 4-of-5 targets for 35 yards in the Cardinals' Week 6 win over the Jets.

Brown ran as the No. 3 receiver much of the night. He's more of a catch-and-fall guy as a chain mover. Brown caught his fourth pass late in the fourth quarter and injured his knee on the play. Brown had to be guided off the field. If he misses any time, Michael Floyd will be elevated back to No. 3.

The Arizona Republic's Kent Somers believes WR Jaron Brown needs to "play more" at the expense of Michael Floyd.

Floyd has arguably been the least productive receiver in the league through three weeks. Among receivers with at least 20 targets, Floyd's 39.1 percent catch rate ranks dead last. He was credited with one drop in the Week 3 loss to the Bills, but he could have just as easily been charged with three. Floyd also ran a bad fourth-quarter route, leading to a Carson Palmer interception, when the Cardinals were threatening a comeback. Brown has caught 6-of-11 targets for 145 yards (24.2 YPR) and one score on just 85 snaps, mostly playing in garbage time.
