Jaron Brown turned his only target into a three-yard touchdown in the Cardinals' Week 9 win over the 49ers.
Brown made the most of his only target, getting open in the end zone during the scramble drill for a three-yard touchdown to get the Cardinals on the board. Despite the score, he is not a fantasy option with Drew Stanton under center. Nov 5 - 8:04 PM

Jaron Brown caught 2-of-5 targets for 37 yards in the Cardinals' Week 7 loss to the Rams.

Brown's 37 yards led the team on a day Carson Palmer broke his arm and was replaced by an inept Drew Stanton. Brown won't be fantasy relevant with Stanton under center. This offense will struggle to score points.
Oct 22 - 5:23 PM

Jaron Brown caught his lone target for a 30-yard gain in the Cardinals' Week 6 win over the Bucs.

He now shares time with J.J. Nelson as Arizona's No. 3 receiver behind Larry Fitzgerald and John Brown. Jaron is just an injury-dependent deep-league stash.
Oct 15 - 7:41 PM

Jaron Brown played 36-of-60 snaps (60 percent) Week 5 against the Eagles.

It is a big step back after he played over 90% of the snaps the previous two games. John Brown saw 48 snaps while J.J. Nelson was in on 32 plays. With John Brown looking healthy, the other two are not fantasy options right now. Of course, John's health cannot be taken for granted.
Oct 9 - 11:04 AM

Jaron Brown snagged three-of-six targets for 39 yards Sunday in the Cardinals’ Week 5 loss to the Eagles.

It was a quiet afternoon for Brown, who was out-targeted by both Andre Ellington and Larry Fitzgerald. More than half his output came on a 20-yard catch to open the second quarter. He’ll look to bounce back against the Buccaneers in Week 6.
Oct 8 - 6:10 PM

Jaron Brown played 82-of-86 snaps (95 percent) Week 4 against the 49ers.

Jaron has now played 90 percent of the snaps in back-to-back games, and it seemed like John Brown (53 snaps) stole work exclusively from J.J. Nelson (25 snaps). Jaron also has double-digit targets in two of the last three games and scored a touchdown in Week 3. Even with John back, Jaron is worth a look in all leagues.
Oct 2 - 8:39 AM

Jaron Brown caught 8-of-12 targets for 105 yards in the Cardinals' Week 4 win over the 49ers.

Brown led all Cardinals' receivers in targets, but Andre Ellington led the offense as a whole with 14 looks. Since his target-less Week 1, Brown has games with 11 and 12 targets sandwiched around a Week 3 where he caught a touchdown. Brown played 94% of the snaps Sunday and is worth an add in deeper leagues because the Cardinals throw so much and Brown is always on the field. He doesn't make many big plays, but there's at least some volume to hold onto here. Brown will be on the WR4/5 map next week in a plus matchup against the Eagles.
Oct 1 - 8:51 PM

Jaron Brown caught 2-of-6 targets for 27 yards and one touchdown in the Cardinals' Week 3 loss to the Cardinals.

Brown looked like he might be headed for a big night, beating Anthony Brown for a 25-yard touchdown in the first quarter. He found the end zone again in the first half, but it was called back on a holding penalty by RT Jared Veldheer. Brown was barely heard from again. Even with John Brown (quad) out, Jaron is nothing more than a last-ditch WR4/5 play.
Sep 26 - 12:29 AM

Jaron Brown caught 4-of-11 targets for 73 yards in the Cardinals' Week 2 win over the Colts.

The Colts focused their defensive attention on Larry Fitzgerald, which opened things up for Brown and J.J. Nelson on the outside. Both ripped off chunk-yardage gains, and Brown led the team in targets. Brown's fantasy outlook is still very much tied to John Brown's (quad) health. If John is out for Week 3 against the Cowboys, Jaron will be worth WR4/flex consideration.
Sep 17 - 4:32 PM

Jaron Brown was not officially targeted in Week 1.

Brown did see a couple passes thrown his way, but they were negated by penalty. On the bright side, he did get the start, and almost all of J.J. Nelson's production came in garbage time. Still, Jaron is unlikely to return fantasy value while John Brown is healthy.
Sep 10 - 5:43 PM

Jaron Brown is listed as the second wide receiver on the Cardinals depth chart for Week 1.

He did get the start in the third preseason game, but coach Bruce Arians continues to rotate guys opposite Larry Fitzgerald in two-wide sets and John Brown did play well to close out the preseason. On top of that, David Johnson is going to take away plenty of targets, so there are a lot of things working against Jaron to make him a desirable fantasy target.
Sep 5 - 5:51 PM

Jaron Brown caught 2-of-4 targets for nine yards in the Cardinals' third preseason game.

Brown started alongside Larry Fitzgerald and J.J. Nelson, but Arizona rotated five receivers with the first-team offense. Brown has been talked up by coach Bruce Arians, but is coming off a torn ACL and is a pedestrian talent. If John Brown is healthy, he should have no trouble leaping Jaron out wide.
Aug 26 - 8:58 PM

Coach Bruce Arians said Jaron Brown is the Cardinals' No. 2 receiver.

Arians added a "right now," but Brown has taken hold of the job while John Brown (quad) has been nursing a quad strain for the past three weeks. A fifth-year possession-type receiver, Brown hasn't gotten many opportunities, but he was pushing at the No. 2 gig last season when Michael Floyd was scuffling. Brown ended up tearing his ACL in October. He's been all systems go in camp.
Aug 16 - 11:03 AM

Cardinals coach Bruce Arians indicated he is optimistic about WR Jaron Brown's (ACL) health.

Brown was poised to assert himself into a bigger 2016 role before tearing his ACL late last October. The Cardinals liked him enough to sign Brown to a one-year extension less than a month later, ensuring he spent another year with the club. "We’re keeping him out of team drills because I don’t want to see him cut, but he’s running routes full speed," Arians said. "He looks great. Actually, his computer numbers are faster than they’ve ever been."
May 25 - 12:31 AM

Cardinals WR Jaron Brown (knee) is participating in individual drills at OTAs.

Brown tore his ACL in October and remains on track in his recovery. He should be ready to roll for the most part once training camp opens. A coaches' pet, Brown will battle for one of the Cardinals' final receiver jobs.
