LaAdrian Waddle is considered the favorite for the Lions starting right tackle job.
Waddle started eight of the final nine games on the right side for Detroit as an undrafted rookie and received positive marks from Pro Football Focus as both a pass and run blocker. He's a big boy at 6-foot-6 and 321 pounds and dominated at times in the run game. Corey Hilliard will likely be the swing tackle. Apr 2 - 2:56 PM

Lions GM Martin Mayhew said he is comfortable with LaAdrian Waddle and Corey Hilliard competing for the right tackle job.

Waddle started eight of the final nine games at right tackle as an undrafted rookie out of Texas Tech and graded out as Pro Football Focus' No. 13 right tackle. Hilliard started seven games at right tackle but struggled badly as a run blocker and lost the job to Waddle midway through the season. Hilliard is best suited for a swing role. Waddle has great size at 6-foot-6, 321 pounds.
