Lions RT LaAdrian Waddle (knee) is not listed on the Week 2 injury report.

Waddle practiced in full the final two sessions of last week and should be a full participant this week as well. The Lions plan to be conservative with their right tackle, so there is still a chance he does not play Week 2. Cornelius Lucas will earn another start if Waddle does not play.
Sep 17 - 9:32 AM

Lions declared RT LaAdrian Waddle, RG Larry Warford, DT Caraun Reid, LB DeAndre Levy, WR TJ Jones, CB Nevin Lawson and TE Tim Wright inactive for Week 1 against the Chargers.

With Waddle and Warford out, the Lions will turn to Manny Ramirez and Cornelius Lucas at right guard and tackle. Josh Bynes will start in the place of Levy.
Sep 13 - 2:38 PM

MLive reported Lions RT LaAdrian Waddle (questionable, knee) is not expected to play Week 1.

Waddle got in full practices on Thursday and Friday, but he is not quite ready to go. Cornelius Lucas will start in his place. With Larry Warford (ankle) also out, the Lions will have a completely new right side of the offensive line to open the season.
Sep 12 - 11:14 AM

Lions activated RT LaAdrian Waddle from the active/PUP list.

Waddle tore his ACL late last season and missed all of camp to this point. He'll resume practicing immediately and try to win back the Lions' starting right tackle job, where Cornelius Lucas and converted TE Michael Williams have been vying for snaps. Waddle will at worst be Detroit's top swing tackle.
Aug 23 - 2:33 PM

Lions RT LaAdrian Waddle (knee) is "weeks away" from being ready for games.

Waddle has been shut down all offseason, leaving Cornelius Lucas and former tight end Michael Williams to compete opposite Riley Reiff. Waddle's Week 1 status remains up in the air, though he is expected to avoid reserve/PUP.
Aug 8 - 3:15 PM

Lions placed RT LaAdrian Waddle (knee) on the active/PUP list.

Waddle missed the entire offseason program with a torn ACL. His Week 1 status remains questionable. The Lions have interest in free agent RT Gosder Cherilus as insurance for Waddle.
Jul 29 - 6:43 PM

Lions RT LaAdrian Waddle (knee) is targeting Week 1 for his return.

Waddle suffered a partially torn ACL in Week 15 and underwent surgery in January. He just started running this week. The Lions failed to draft a tackle, leaving second-year UDFA Cornelius Lucas as Waddle's primary competition.
May 15 - 11:50 AM

The Lions expect OT LaAdrian Waddle (ACL) to remain sidelined "for a bit."

Waddle underwent surgery in mid-January. It's obviously not surprising he'll remain sidelined "for a bit," but it's notable that the Lions aren't putting any sort of a timetable on his return. As it stands right now, the Lions' 2014 right tackle is a strong candidate to begin 2015 on the reserve/PUP list, costing him six games.
Mar 26 - 1:37 PM

Lions RT LaAdrian Waddle underwent surgery to repair his partially torn left ACL on Thursday.

Waddle was injured in Week 15. He should be considered questionable for training camp, and perhaps even Week 1. Waddle was doing a reasonably good job of holding down the right side of Detroit's line before going down, and should return as a 2015 starter as long as his health allows it. Waddle also battled head, ankle and calf issues in 2014.
Jan 15 - 9:00 PM

Lions RT LaAdrian Waddle has been diagnosed with a partially torn left ACL, and is done for the season.

He'll be sent to injured reserve. Waddle had previously battled head, ankle and calf issues this season, but was holding down the fort on Matthew Stafford's right side. Waddle has started 18 games over the past two seasons, and will likely return as a starter in 2015. Undrafted rookie Cornelius Lucas will bookend LT Riley Reiff for the rest of 2014.

Lions RT LaAdrian Waddle is expected to miss the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury in the Week 15 win over the Vikings.

Waddle has missed time with concussions, ankle, and calf injuries this season. He exited in the third quarter of Sunday's game and was carted to the locker room. Waddle has been a top-eight pass-blocking right tackle over at Pro Football Focus in 2014. UDFA Cornelius Lucas will fill in opposite LT Riley Reiff.

Lions RT LaAdrian Waddle left Sunday's Week 10 win over the Dolphins with a knee injury and did not return.

Lions RT LaAdrian Waddle (calf) is expected to return for Sunday's game against the Bills.

Waddle strained his calf Week 1, and has missed the last three games with the injury. Waddle's return should help bolster a struggling offensive front. With Waddle sidelined, Matthew Stafford has been sacked 10 times and hit 23 times in only three games.
