Redskins re-signed OL Jason Fabini.
Fabini wound up drawing only light interest elsewhere. It's a little surprising that the Dolphins and old pal Bill Parcells didn't go after him. Fabini started several games at guard in 2007, but will be a backup in 2008. Mon, Mar 24, 2008 05:12:00 PM

Free agent OL Jason Fabini is reportedly drawing "significant interest" from the Dolphins.

Fabini got his career back on track with Washington in 2007 and has long been a Bill Parcells guy. He's likely being looked at as a reserve by Miami.

The Redskins have expressed interest in retaining free agent OL Jason Fabini.

Fabini, 33, started nearly all of 2007 at RG in place of Randy Thomas (arm) and was surprisingly effective. He had been a tackle most of his career.

Jason Fabini has been penciled in as Washington's starting right guard due to Randy Thomas' torn triceps.

This shouldn't last long. Fabini hasn't been an effective player for two years running and the Redskins are already giving free agent Keydrick Vincent a tryout. Will Whitticker, who was with Washington in camp, is another option.

Redskins signed T Jason Fabini.

The 'Skins must've liked something seen from Fabini on special teams last year, because that's where he played. He'll battle to make the club.

Cowboys released tackle Jason Fabini.

Fabini, 33 in August, signed a three-year, $6 million last year to battle to start and ended as a blocker on special teams. Pat McQuistan is Dallas' swing tackle for now and Leonard Davis also can play the position.

Cowboys declared T Jason Fabini, CB Quincy Butler, S Abram Elam, OLB Junior Glymph, NT Montavious Stanley, OL Joe Berger, OL Cory Procter, and DE Stephen Bowen inactive for Saturday's game.

Fabini, who has fallen behind seventh-rounder Pat McQuistan, will likely only return to Dallas in 2007 if Bill Parcells is back. Butler and Bowen are undrafted rookies. Dime back Jacques Reeves is active.

Newly signed Cowboys T Jason Fabini could be third on the Dallas depth chart at right tackle.

Second-year pro Rob Pettiti is being talked up as the surprise of the offseason, while Chicago import Marc Colombo has also looked good. Perhaps the Jets knew what they were doing getting rid of Fabini.

Cowboys signed T Jason Fabini to a three-year, $6 million contract.

The Jets cap cut reunites with Bill Parcells in Dallas. He's the early leader in the race to start at right tackle. Other candidates are incumbent starter Rob Pettiti and restricted free agent Torrin Tucker.

The Bills entertained former Jets T Jason Fabini and Lions DE Jared DeVries Thursday.

It looks like Tampa will sign either Tom Ashworth or Fabini to add depth at tackle.

The Cowboys could be interested in T Jason Fabini.

Bill Parcells loves "his guys" and coached Fabini in New York. He also needs a right tackle. Along those lines, Parcells could look at fullback Jerald Sowell, also a former favorite.

Jets released T Jason Fabini.

Fabini can still play, but his better days are behind him and he tore his pectoral muscle in 2005. He should find a job fairly quickly, though.

T Jason Fabini is expected to be a cap-cut.

Fabini counts $4.6 million against the salary cap and will only be a reserve next season.
