Ravens DE Brent Urban exited Week 3 against the Jaguars with a foot sprain.

He is questionable to return. It is the last thing the Ravens need with Brandon Williams already out and the Jaguars dominating early in the game.

Ravens activated DE Brent Urban (biceps) from injured reserve-designated for return.

Urban tore his biceps in early-August and has yet to play a snap this season after missing his entire rookie year with a torn ACL. The second-year pro will slide in as a rotational lineman if he's active on game day.

Ravens DE Brent Urban (torn biceps, IR/recall) will begin practicing Monday.

There was a report Urban had been activated, but that will likely come later in the week. A fourth-round pick last year, Urban has yet to play a snap in the NFL after missing his entire rookie season with a torn ACL.

Ravens placed DE Brent Urban (torn biceps) on injured reserve/designated for return.

Urban was expected to miss the entire season after tearing his biceps in early August. He will be eligible to return following the Ravens' Week 9 bye, but he may be held out longer. RB Terrence Magee was signed in a corresponding move.

Ravens DE Brent Urban has suffered a torn biceps, and is expected to miss all of 2015.

The second-year fourth-rounder was batting Chris Canty for a starting job. This will be Urban's second straight lost season after missing all of 2014 with a torn ACL. Replacing Haloti Ngata just got a little bit harder for the Ravens.

Ravens DC Dean Pees said second-year DE Brent Urban is in the mix to start.

"When you see him out there, it’s not hard to find him," Pees said. "I really think he was poised to be in a position last year to play a lot and be in that rotation, and I see him in the same situation now. He’s going to be a contender for a starting job." Urban is fully healthy after missing his entire rookie season. He's competing at five technique with Chris Canty, who rarely plays on passing downs. At the very least, Urban should see heavy rotational snaps.

Coach John Harbaugh declared second-year DE Brent Urban (knee) "100 percent."

Urban tore his ACL last summer and missed his entire rookie season. The No. 134 overall pick in last year's draft has a chance to carve out a role in the defensive-line rotation that has huge shoes to fill after losing Haloti Ngata.

Ravens fourth-round DE Brent Urban has suffered a torn ACL in his right knee.

Urban, a classic five-technique prospect out of UVA, was expected to provide depth behind Haloti Ngata and Chris Canty. Instead, he'll spend his rookie season on injured reserve.

Ravens signed fourth-round DE Brent Urban to a four-year contract.

A two-year starter at Virginia, Urban had 40 tackles and a sack last season despite playing through a high-ankle sprain. He underwent surgery in February and is expected to be cleared for training camp. The Ravens now have two remaining unsigned draft picks: first-round ILB C.J. Mosley and third-round S Terrence Brooks.

Ravens selected Virginia DT Brent Urban with the No. 134 overall pick in the 2014 draft.

Urban (6-foot-6 5/8, 295) was a two-year starter at UVA, finishing his career with 16.5 tackles for loss and three sacks. He made All-ACC honorable mention as a senior. Urban is a classic five-technique prospect with lengthy 34 1/4-inch arms, but lacks explosive athleticism and will probably never become a high-impact pass rusher. Urban's length, "country" strength, and ability to bat down passes at the line of scrimmage have earned him comparisons to a poor man's J.J. Watt.
