Packers signed CB Bashaud Breeland.
Breeland has been flirting with many teams the last few months, but he has found a new home. The Packers are deploying a young secondary with rookies Jaire Alexander and Josh Jackson, second year corner Kevin King, and veteran Tramon Williams. Breeland will be a valuable veteran presence, but he has also played well when healthy. The Packers are also sending Davon House (shoulder) to the IR. Sep 25 - 6:23 PM

Free agent CB Bashaud Breeland visited the Buccaneers Tuesday.

Breeland made his rounds as a free agent in early August but hasn't been heard from since. The Dolphins were the last team to reportedly show interest in signing him. Tampa Bay escaped with a victory over the Saints in Week 1 despite being forced to start two backup corners alongside Vernon Hargreaves. The team has already signed Marcus Williams to shore up one of those top two cornerback positions.

The Miami Herald reports there is "legit interest" between the Dolphins and free agent CB Bashaud Breeland.

Breeland has seemingly visited every NFL team over the last month, and most of those visits have ended with reports of "legit interest." It has become clear Breeland is not getting the offers he thinks he deserves. Until a team gets desperate or Breeland lowers his valuation, he will remain in the free-agent pool.

Free agent Bashaud Breeland will visit the Dolphins on Sunday.

It's the latest team connected to Breeland after he visited the Patriots and Ravens. Miami has an open competition at the left corner spot, so Breeland would give them a legitimate starter opposite Xavien Howard. Breeland is healthy after a foot injury voided his Panthers deal. His asking price is the only reason he's still unsigned.
Aug 11 - 9:35 PM

ESPN's Josina Anderson reports the Ravens and Patriots remain interested in free agent Bashaud Breeland.

Breeland left both visits without a deal but expects follow-ups this weekend. The Raiders are also still keeping tabs on Breeland. Money has been holding up Breeland talks to this point, but he looks close to signing.
Aug 10 - 6:02 PM

Free agent Bashaud Breeland worked out for the Patriots on Tuesday.

The Pats have been doing their due diligence on cornerbacks of late. The Pats are always one of the league's most aggressive teams in terms of working out available talent. Breeland visited the Ravens late last month. He has also visited the Colts, Browns, Raiders and Chiefs this summer. So far, the league isn't willing to pay Breeland what he's asking for.
Aug 7 - 3:43 PM

Free agent CB Bashaud Breeland is visiting the Ravens on Saturday.

Breeland was reportedly at Baltimore's facility Saturday for a physical and to meet with team officials. The Ravens have recently become aggressive in their pursuit of Breeland and are looking to sign him immediately. The Jets have also expressed interest.
Jul 28 - 12:22 PM

ESPN's Josina Anderson reports the Ravens are "getting more aggressive" with their interest in free agent CB Bashaud Breeland and want to visit with him Friday.

Anderson adds the Jets have expressed interest all week as well. Breeland is in Cleveland visiting the Browns today, and the Ravens want him to come directly to Baltimore this evening. Breeland has drawn a ton of interest this week and indications had been that he planned to make a decision Saturday.
Jul 27 - 8:45 AM

Free agent CB Bashaud Breeland is visiting the Colts on Thursday.

It is the second time he has visited the Colts. Breeland appeared close to signing with the Chiefs yesterday -- he was spotted watching practice -- but the two sides obviously could not work out a deal. The Colts need as much help in the secondary as anyone.
Jul 26 - 8:36 AM

Free agent CB Bashaud Breeland was seen at Chiefs practice on Wednesday.

ESPN Chiefs reporter Adam Teicher noted that it's unusual for a visiting free agent to attend practice without a deal in place, but apparently Breeland has yet to put pen to paper. Breeland has made the rounds over the last week, checking in with Cleveland, Indianapolis and Oakland, though his presence at Wednesday's practice would suggest he's seriously considering signing with Kansas City. He'd be a good get for the Chiefs, who are looking to replace Marcus Peters (traded) and Terrance Mitchell (left in free agency).
Jul 25 - 10:48 AM

Free agent CB Bashaud Breeland has visits scheduled with the Colts and Browns this week.

That's in addition to his visits with the Raiders and Chiefs the past 2-3 days. This is the second time the Colts have checked in on Breeland; they also had him in for a visit in May. Breeland had a $24 million deal voided by the Panthers in March after he injured his foot. Breeland is a top player left on the market. There's no question he can play. He just needs to prove healthy.
Jul 23 - 9:16 PM

Free agent Bashaud Breeland has visits with the Raiders and Chiefs next week.

Breeland met with the Colts and Arizona after his three-year deal with the Panthers voided, but this is his first interest since May. The Raiders have talked up Gareon Conley as a starter but Breeland would be an upgrade opposite Rashaan Melvin, while the Chiefs have question marks at corner after trading Marcus Peters. Four months removed from foot surgery, Breeland is likely going to have to settle for less than the $8M annually he landed earlier this offseason.
Jul 21 - 4:15 PM

ESPN's Josina Anderson reports the Cardinals could revisit talks with free agent Bashaud Breeland in a "few weeks."

This conflicts a previous report that Arizona was out on Breeland after trading for Jamar Taylor. Breeland would give the Cardinals a legitimate starter opposite Patrick Peterson, but guaranteed money may be a hangup given his injury status. The Colts and Packers have also been linked to Breeland.
Jun 2 - 3:31 PM

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport believes the Cardinals' trade for CB Jamar Taylor takes them out of the running for free agent CB Bashaud Breeland.

Breeland visited Arizona on Thursday but the Cardinals have since filled their cornerback void by adding Taylor in a trade with Cleveland. Rapoport suspects Breeland will land with the Colts, who he visited earlier this week. However, the signing may have to wait until Breeland is fully healthy. The former Redskin is still working back from a foot injury he suffered while on vacation in the Dominican Republic two months ago.
May 18 - 1:25 PM

Free agent CB Bashaud Breeland is visiting the Colts on Wednesday.

He'll visit the Cardinals on Thursday if he makes it out of Indy. Breeland inked a three-year, $24 million deal with the Panthers in March but needed a skin graft after cutting his foot on vacation, and the deal was voided after a failed physical. The Colts are in seriously dire need of corner help.
