C.J. Fiedorowicz caught 6-of-9 targets for 44 yards Week 13 against the Packers.
Fiedorowicz easily led the team with five catches at the break after catching three quick passes in the two-minute drill. He was only able to haul in one of his four opportunities after halftime, but he still led the team both in receptions and targets, although he did lose a touchdown and some targets to Ryan Griffin. The only pass catcher Osweiler can find semi-consistently, Fiedorowicz is going to be a big part of the offense the rest of the way. He will be a sure-fire TE1 next week against the Colts. Dec 1 - 7:30 PM

C.J. Fiedorowicz (shoulder) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

He's been nursing a shoulder injury in recent weeks but isn't in danger of missing Sunday's game against Green Bay. Fiedorowicz has drawn at least seven targets in five of his last seven games. That's enough volume to put him in the TE1 discussion, albeit on the back end of it.
Nov 30 - 4:14 PM

C.J. Fiedorowicz caught 4-of-6 targets for 42 yards Week 12 against the Chargers.

It was a disappointing line which was actually inflated by two fourth-quarter catches, but Fiedorowicz does not deserve much of the blame. His first missed chance was an off-target bullet by Brock Osweiler with Fiedorowicz just a couple feet from the line of scrimmage, and the quarterback managed to overthrow his big tight end by at least 10 feet on a second-half interception. A big part of the passing game, Fiedorowicz should bounce back next week against the Packers.
Nov 27 - 5:40 PM

Texans coach Bill O'Brien confirmed Friday that C.J. Fiedorowicz (shoulder) will play in Week 12 against the Chargers.

Emerging as Brock Osweiler's most trusted possession receiver, Fiedorowicz's consistent usage gives him reliable if low-end TE1 value week to week.
Nov 25 - 4:33 PM

C.J. Fiedorowicz (shoulder) was limited in Thursday's practice.

Fiedorowicz should be good to go against the Chargers. Brock Osweiler's favorite target since he's typically only a few yards beyond the line of scrimmage, Fiedorowicz is a top-15 tight end.
Nov 24 - 4:32 PM

C.J. Fiedorowicz (shoulder) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

The Texans limited several of their starters on Wednesday, which is not uncommon after Monday night games. Fiedorowicz has been a dependable target for Brock Osweiler throughout season and has settled in as a back-end TE1. He'll be fine for Sunday's home game against the Chargers.
Nov 23 - 6:04 PM

C.J. Fiedorowicz caught 6-of-10 targets for 82 yards in the Texans' Week 11 loss to the Raiders.

The 10 targets are a new season-high for the third-year tight end. Fiedorowicz has now seen at least six targets in five of the past six games and has quietly turned into Brock Osweiler's most trusted target, as the likes to check down to him over the middle. Fiedorowicz's steady volume has put him on the TE1 map for the rest of the season heading into Week 12 against the Chargers.
Nov 22 - 12:29 AM

C.J. Fiedorowicz caught 3-of-5 targets for 26 yards in the Texans' Week 10 win over the Jaguars.

This was not a good matchup for Fiedorowicz against a Jaguars defense that has effectively covered tight ends all season. He also got vultured near the goal line by No. 2 tight end Ryan Griffin. Fiedorowicz gets a better matchup when the Texans play the Raiders on Monday Night Football in Week 11.
Nov 13 - 5:52 PM

C.J. Fiedorowicz caught 5-of-7 targets for 43 yards and one touchdown in the Texans' Week 8 win over the Lions.

Fiedorowicz tied for the team lead in targets. The Texans attacked the Lions with their tight ends, feeding Fiedorowicz and Ryan Griffin (3-34) a combined 10 targets. Griffin caught two big passes on a first-quarter drive before Fiedorowicz finished it off with a six-yard score. The Lions have ceded the most fantasy points to tight ends this season, and Fiedorowicz continues to have a huge role, seeing at least seven targets in four-straight games. He's put himself on the back end of the TE1 map heading into the bye before facing the Jaguars in Week 10.
Oct 30 - 5:24 PM

C.J. Fiedorowicz returned to Week 8 against the Lions after passing the concussion protocol.

He missed about half the second quarter after getting blown up by S Tavon Wilson.
Oct 30 - 2:06 PM

C.J. Fiedorowicz exited Week 8 against the Lions to be evaluated for a concussion.

Lions S Tavon Wilson was flagged on the play for clearly targeting Fiedorowicz with a hit to the neck and head area on a pass down the seam. Fiedorowicz immediately grabbed his head, but eventually got up and ran to the locker room. Fiedorowicz caught two balls for 11 yards and a TD before leaving.
Oct 30 - 1:45 PM

C.J. Fiedorowicz caught 5-of-7 targets for 35 yards in the Texans' Week 7 loss to the Broncos.

He again out-targeted Ryan Griffin 7-5 and has emerged as the Texans' go-to tight end in the pass game. Fiedorowicz has now caught at least four passes in four-straight games and is averaging 6.25 targets per game in that span. But in an offense that isn't scoring touchdowns, Fiedorowicz is hard to get excited about. He does get a luscious spot at home against the Lions in Week 8. The Lions entered Week 7 having surrendered the most fantasy points to tight ends.
Oct 25 - 12:16 AM

Texans OC George Godsey said TE C.J. Fiedorowicz's pass-game role is expanding.

"He's starting to contribute, coming up big multiple weeks in a row now with some multi-catch games. He's defining his role a little more," said Godsey. Fiedorowicz has went over 60 yards the last two games and caught the game-tying touchdown against the Colts on Sunday night. He's clearly moved ahead of Ryan Griffin as one of Brock Osweiler's preferred checkdowns. Fiedorowicz has some low-end streamer value, but shouldn't be in Week 7 lineups against Denver.
Oct 20 - 5:34 PM

C.J. Fiedorowicz caught 6-of-7 targets for 85 yards and a touchdown in Houston's Week 6 win over the Colts.

Fiedorowicz scored the game-tying touchdown with under a minute in the fourth quarter. He's had at least seven targets the last two weeks and is the clear preferred option over Ryan Griffin. Fiedorowicz will be a low-end steamer for a Week 7 matchup with Denver.
