Dany Heatley (groin) hasn't been activated from the injured reserve list yet.
That needed to be clarified because Heatley completed his conditioning stint on Monday and usually that leads to the player in question being put on the team's active roster. The decision not to activate him yet might not have a ton to do with Heatley's health though. The Ducks are clicking right now, so there might not be a spot for him on their roster at the moment. Date:

Dany Heatley has rejoined the Ducks after an AHL conditioning stint.

Prior to the conditioning stint, Heatley hadn't played since Nov. 9 due to a groin injury. It will be interesting to see how Heatley fits into the lineup. He was projected to serve on the Ducks' top line before the season began, but we don't expect him to serve in that role now that he's healthy.
Dec 15 - 12:44 PM

Dany Heatley played his second minor league game in his career and was a minus-two in a 4-3 win.

Heatley has been plagued by a groin injury all season and the Ducks wanted him to get in a couple of conditioning games before he saw some NHL action. He was slated to play on the top line with Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry when the season began, but that may not be in the cards once Perry returns from a knee injury. We cannot recommend Heatley at this time.
Dec 14 - 5:48 AM

Dany Heatley played in his first minor league game of his professional career on Friday.

Heatley had a couple of shots on goal as he was sent to Norfolk of the AHL on a conditioning stint as he is recovering from a groin injury. Heatley is a former 50 goal scorer in the NHL but the Ducks would be happy if he hit double digits this season in the show.
Dec 13 - 6:26 AM

Dany Heatley's AHL conditioning stint could be brief.

The current plan is for Heatley to play with Norfolk on Friday and Saturday. After that, he'll rejoin the Ducks. Before the season began, Heatley was projected to serve on the Ducks' first line, but we wouldn't count on him serving in that capacity once he's able to return.
Dec 12 - 9:39 AM

Dany Heatley (groin) has been assigned to AHL Norfolk on a long-term injury conditioning loan.

He hasn't played since Nov. 9 because of a groin injury, which required surgery. Heatley has appeared in only four games this season with the Ducks.
Dec 11 - 5:10 PM

Dany Heatley underwent groin surgery weeks ago.

The Ducks only revealed that it happened on Wednesday. Despite this latest revelation, Heatley is making progress. He'll join the Ducks on their upcoming five-game road trip and might return in the not too distant future. Although the original plan was that he would serve on the top line this season, we wouldn't count on that happening at this point.
Dec 11 - 7:52 AM

Dany Heatley (groin) participated in the Ducks' optional practice on Monday.

Heatley is close to returning to the lineup. He's been limited to just four games this season and averaged only 11:50 minutes per contest when he did play.
Dec 9 - 10:02 AM

Dany Heatley has been put on the injured reserve list with a lingering groin problem.

Heatley has played in just four games this season. It's not clear how long he'll be out for or what his role will be when he returns. He's averaged just 11:50 minutes per contest when he has played.
Nov 14 - 4:49 PM

Dany Heatley was put back into the Ducks' lineup on Sunday.

Heatley logged just 10:24 minutes of ice time and didn't fire a shot on goal. He's not worth owning in standard leagues at this time.
Nov 10 - 8:20 AM

Dany Heatley drew back into the Ducks' lineup on Wednesday, but only logged 11:47 minutes of ice time.

Heatley spent Anaheim's previous two games in the press box. Given that the Ducks were missing Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry Wednesday night, it's telling that they still used Heatley sparingly. He has no fantasy value in standard leagues.
Nov 6 - 8:21 AM

Dany Heatley agrees with Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau assessment that he was rusty in his return from a groin injury.

Heatley played in two games before spending the following two contests in the press box. The Ducks original plan was to use Heatley on their top line and while they might stick with that, he's a huge gamble. We can't recommend owning him in standard leagues at this time.
Nov 4 - 10:04 AM

Dany Heatley was a healthy scratch for the second consecutive game.

Heatley missed the start of the season with a groin injury and returned to play two games before coach Bruce Boudreau decided to sit him Friday and Sunday. "There’s rust," Boudreau said. "He'd be the first one to tell you he's not as ready as he'd want to be. That's going to come." Heatley could still see time on the first line with Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry so while we cannot recommend him at this time, he certainly is worth keeping an eye on.
Nov 3 - 4:55 AM

Dany Heatley will be a healthy scratch in Friday's game against Dallas.

Heatley has no points in two games this season. He isn't a factor in fantasy leagues anymore. The decline has been a steep one.
Oct 31 - 8:36 PM

Dany Heatley didn't do much in his Ducks debut Tuesday night.

Heatley missed Anaheim's first nine games due to a groin injury. He had just one shot on goal in 13:26 minutes of ice time. He might just need some time to shake off the rust, but given how unproductive he was in 2013-14, he might not get much better. Still, he's worth monitoring for now.
