Branko Radivojevic will not be back with the Wild next season as he has signed a two-year deal to play with Spartak in the Russian Premiere League.
From a fantasy perspective this is not big news as Radivojevic scored only seven goals and registered a meager 17 points in 73 games in 2007-08. He is currently rehabbing after surgery to repair a torn right ACL. Sun, Jun 8, 2008 10:19:00 AM

Branko Radivojevic will undergo reconstructive surgery on his knee this summer, which will put him out of action for the next four to six months.

This will put his NHL future on hold, as he is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer. Radivojevic said that he played all of Game 2 against the Avalanche with a torn ACL in his right knee. "When you're hurt like this and you don't have a contract, you're nervous," he said.

Branko Radivojevic is currently listed as doubtful for Monday's contest against the Avalanche.

Radivojevic toughed his way through Game 2 after suffering a leg injury and there have been conflicting reports about his status for Game 3; with coach Jacques Lemaire saying he would likely sit out and general manager Doug Risebrough stating he might dress. Radivojevic did not practice on Sunday, but he could have just been resting.
