Do not expect to see Radim Vrbata back in a Vancouver Canucks uniform next season.
The 34-year-old winger inked a two-year deal with Vancouver two seasons ago and is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. He is struggling this season with only 11 goals and 22 points with a minus-22 rating after a terrific campaign in 2014-15 with 31 goals and 63 points. The difference this season is that he has rarely played with the Sedin twins after spending all of last season with the duo. If the Canucks are out of the playoff race at the trade deadline then Vancouver would likely deal him elsewhere. He has little fantasy value at this time. Jan 31 - 10:55 AM

Radim Vrbata was reunited with Daniel and Henrik Sedin Friday.

The trio were terrific last season and Vrbata had an outstanding season with 31 goals and 63 points. But this year Vrbata has rarely been with the twins and it shows with only 11 goals and 10 assists in 43 games. He had an assist last night and if he continues to play with the Sedins, he should have a big second half of the season. Stay tuned and hope that coach Willie Desjardins keeps the trio together.

Radim Vrbata scored a power play goal in Thursday night's 4-1 loss to the league-leading Washington Capitals.

Vrbata now has 11 goals and 20 points through 42 games this season, which is poised to be his worst offensive output in five years. The 34-year-old also hurts fantasy teams with his -16 rating so far this season.

Radim Vrbata recorded an assist in a 3-2 overtime win over Florida on Monday.

Vrbata snapped a six-game point drought. He now has 10 goals and 19 points in 41 contests. That's not great compared to what he's done in the past and he's also dealing with a minus-14 rating, which is the second worst in Vancouver behind Bo Horvat.

Radim Vrbata had an assist in a 2-1 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning Tuesday night.

Vrbata has 10 goals and 18 points in 34 games this season. He's on pace to record 41 points this season, factoring in the two contests he's missed thus far. That's a very disappointing showing for him and we're still looking for Vrbata to reach the 50-point mark in 2015-16.

Radim Vrbata scored a goal and an assist in Friday's 4-3 shootout win over the Detroit Red Wings.

He also added a goal in the seven-round shootout. Vrbata assisted on Sven Baertschi's second period goal to give Vancouver a 2-0 lead and scored one of his own to put the Canucks ahead 3-2 in the third. The 34-year-old has 10 goals and 17 points in 32 games this season.

Radim Vrbata scored a hat trick in the Canucks 5-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres.

The goals were Vrbata's seventh, eighth and ninth goals of this campaign. Vrbata had a total of six shots on goal in the game. Vrbata now has nine goals and six assists this season for a total of fifteen points in 27 games played. It was Vrbata's sixth career hat trick. Vrbata is a streaky scorer, so ride this wave if he is on your roster or available in your league. Brandon Prust and Henrik Sedin were the other goal scorers in the game for the Canucks.

Radim Vrbata scored two goals in the Vancouver Canucks' 3-2 victory over the Wild in Minnesota Wednesday night.

The Canucks, who lost six times on a seven-game road trip that concluded last week, opened a four-game road trip sluggishly in Minnesota, but Vrbata scored his fifth goal of the season in the final minute and it seemed to kick-start the team. Vrbata followed with a power-play goal at 11:15 of the second period. He now has six goals on the season. Jannik Hansen notched the game winner in the third period with his seventh of the season. Daniel Sedin had two assists for the Canucks, his 14th and 15th of the season.

Radim Vrbata will return to Vancouver's lineup on Sunday against New Jersey.

Vrbata is slotted to skate on the third line to the right of Chris Higgins and Jared McCann. While Vrbata was signed to be a top-line winger, this could be good spark of depth for both Vrbata and the Canucks as a team. He has three goals and eight points in 19 games thus far, and is shooting an unsustainable 4.1% compared to his career 9.4%.

Radim Vrbata will not play against the Blackhawks because of a groin injury.

Vrbata missed Wednesday’s game with the injury, too, though he seems to be inching his way toward a return. He has three goals and eight points this season. It remains to be seen whether he'll be able to rejoin the lineup Sunday against the Devils.

Vrbata was on the ice by himself though. He's still might be able to play on Saturday.

Radim Vrbata has collected a point in each of his last three games.

The 34-year-old had no points in his first six games, but he's accumulated five points in his last five contests. He won't keep producing at a point-per-game pace but he should remain somewhat productive if he stays healthy.

Radim Vrbata finally got on the board Thursday night, unfortunately his Canucks still fell to the Capitals 3-2.

Good things happen when you go to the net, as they say. Vrbata was the beneficiary of a fortuitous bounce off his skate after Braden Holtby made the initial save. Either way, it looks pretty good on your score sheet at home.
