Radim Vrbata doesn't expect Thursday's game against Arizona to be an easy one.

The Coyotes have dropped 10 straight games and, as bad as they are, they have to end that streak eventually. For Vrbata though, it's more than that as he has played in 428 games with the Coyotes before leaving them in favor of Vancouver. "We only have 19 games left and we have to be winning and getting points," said Vrbata. "From my experience in the Western Conference with Phoenix the last couple of years -- we missed the playoffs by two points last year, we missed by four points the year before that – every point is important. If it’s a shootout loss, or a shootout win, it makes a difference. It doesn't matter who it's against. We have to be ready for the Coyotes. We better be. Those are points that we need."
Mar 5 - 10:24 AM

Radim Vrbata had two assists in a 6-5 shootout win over St. Louis.

Vrbata has 22 goals and 44 points in 59 contests in 2014-15. He's played primarily with the Sedin twins this season, but he skated on a line with Derek Dorsett and Nick Bonino on Sunday. He'll probably end up back on a line with Henrik and Daniel Sedin eventually, but this situation is worth monitoring closely as Vrbata's fantasy worth does take a hit when he's off the top line, even if he had a good game on Sunday.
Mar 2 - 11:07 AM

Radim Vrbata saw his eight game point streak end on Saturday.

Vrbata had been hot with three goals and nine points during the streak. He has 21 goals and 40 points in 52 games this season with eight goals and eight assists coming on the power play.
Feb 15 - 11:06 AM

Radim Vrbata picked up two assists on Saturday including the 500th point in his NHL career.

Vrbata has been moved down to the second line but still sees first power play time with the Sedin twins. Vrbata has 20 goals and 37 points this season in 48 games so he has been a fantasy asset for most.
Feb 8 - 11:52 AM

Radim Vrbata zipped his 20th goal of season in Thursday night's 5-1 loss to San Jose.

Vrbata cut the deficit to 4-1 late in the third period as he put a slapshot just inside the bar on the far side after taking a nice lead-pass from Ryan Stanton. It's Vrbata's fifth career 20+ goal season, and seems poised to come near his career single season high of 35 through just 47 games this season.

Vancouver Canuck Radim Vrbata is honored to be the Canucks lone All-Star this season.

Vrbata was low keyed about the berth as teammates Henrik and Daniel Sedin were not named. "It’s a big honor and even though the game itself is not the Stanley Cup final or anything, I’m sure once you’re done playing hockey, you can look back and said you played in that game," said Vrbata. "That is something special. Growing up, when I got a chance to see something like that, you want to see how the best players carry themselves and prepare themselves. And to be in company like that — there are a lot of other players who could go and didn't get selected. For me, I just feel like I’m the beneficiary of our line with Danny and Hank with the way we've played the first half of the season. If they got selected, nobody could say anything.

Radim Vrbata notched a goal and a power play assist in Vancouver's 3-2 loss to LA on Thursday night.

As per usual this season, Vrbata was a consistent offensive force.
