Dan Ellis wasn't able to withstand the Anaheim onslaught Sunday, as he and the Panthers were on the wrong end of a 6-2 decision.

Ellis allowed six goals on 40 shots in the defeat and was consistently hung out to dry by his subpar supporting cast.
