Jul 1 - 3:58 PM

Scott Clemmensen has been returned to the minors.

He isn't expected to be back with the Florida organization next year because the team has Roberto Luongo and Dan Ellis under contract.
Apr 12 - 4:52 PM

Scott Clemmensen is back up with the Panthers.

He will suit up on Thursday night against Toronto as Roberto Luongo's backup because Dan Ellis is suffering from an illness.
Apr 10 - 11:44 AM

With Roberto Luongo back to full health, the Panthers re-assigned Scott Clemmensen to San Antonio of the AHL.

In spot duty for the Cats this season, Clemmensen has a 6-7-1 record, a 3.09 GAA and a .896 save percentage. Not rosterable numbers by any strecth.
Apr 6 - 9:29 AM

Scott Clemmensen came to play on Tuesday, facing 40 shots but ultimately allowed four goals and took the loss, 4-2 to the Islanders.

Clemmensen has allowed 14 goals in his past three starts, all losses. The 36 year old is 6-7-1 this season with an .896 save percentage and 3.09 goals against average. Clemmensen is playing himself out of the league, as last season he also had a .874 save percentage and 3.67 goals against average.
Apr 1 - 11:01 PM

Mar 28 - 1:35 PM

Scott Clemmensen will head to the minors for the rest of the 2013-14 season.

He cleared waivers on Wednesday and the Panthers gave their crease a facelift before the trade deadline by acquiring Roberto Luongo from Vancouver and Dan Ellis from Dallas. Clemmensen is eligible for unrestricted free agency this summer, so he's likely going to finish his contract in the AHL.
Mar 6 - 10:22 AM

Scott Clemmensen has successfully cleared waivers.

The Florida Panthers would have probably preferred if he got claimed after they traded for Roberto Luongo on Tuesday. For now Clemmensen is in limbo given that he's now behind both Luongo and Tim Thomas. If Florida doesn't trade Thomas, then the Panthers might exercise their option to send Clemmensen to the minors.
Mar 5 - 12:10 PM

The Florida Panthers have decided to place Scott Clemmensen on waivers.

Hey if the Minnesota Wild don't want to give up a prospect or pick, they could always pick up Clemmensen. His annual $1.2 million cap hit isn't bad and while his 3.02 GAA and .896 save percentage isn't pretty, he can be a half-decent insurance option if the more preferable trade market choices like Buffalo's Jaroslav Halak prove to be too expensive.
Mar 4 - 12:33 PM

Scott Clemmensen allowed four goals on 35 shots in Florida's 6-3 loss to Columbus on Saturday afternoon.

The Blue Jackets added two empty net goals very late in the third period, so the game was much closer than the final score indicates. The Panthers will probably go back to Tim Thomas for Sunday's match-up versus the New York Islanders. Clemmenesen has 6-6-1 record with a .896 save percentage and a 3.02 goals-against average.
Mar 1 - 5:05 PM

Scott Clemmensen will start Saturday for Florida.

It was originally thought that Tim Thomas would be back in goal for the Panthers even though he was blitzed for five goals on 32 shots against Washington on Thursday. The Panthers play against the Islanders on Sunday afternoon, so Thomas will probably play that contest.
Mar 1 - 1:48 PM

Scott Clemmensen was soundly beaten by Toronto in a 6-3 loss on Thursday night.

Clemmensen was victimized for six goals on 32 shots in the outing, which not only hurt his peripheral stats, but dropped his record to 6-5-1. His GAA and save percentage are 3.00 and .894, respectively.
Jan 30 - 10:41 PM

His last appearance came in a 5-1 win over Pittsburgh on Jan. 20 when he stopped 35 of 36 shots. The Panthers backup has a .903 save percentage and a 2.74 goals-against average in 13 appearances this season. Adjust your lineup accordingly.
