Lukas Krajicek was a healthy scratch for Friday night's Game Two against the Devils.

Ryan Parent played in Krajicek's place. Look for Flyer coach Peter Laviolette to continue to rotate Krajicek, Parent and Oskars Bartulis in and out of the lineup.

Lukas Krajicek is playing well on Philadelphia's second defensive pairing with veteran Kimmo Timonen.

While he hasn't collected any points in his first three games with Philadelphia, the team has allowed just three goals during that time. He gives the team extra defensive depth, which will be important down the stretch.

Lukas Krajicek has been playing alongside blueliner Kimmo Timonen.

Philadelphia signed Krajicek after the Tampa Bay Lightning terminated his contract in late January. Coach Peter Laviolette has been pleased with Krajicek so far, calling him "a real good fit." Krajicek has no fantasy value at this time.

The Flyers signed Lukas Krajicek to a contract.

Krajicek was placed on waivers by the Lightning last week and the Flyers needed a depth defender with injures to Ryan Parent and Danny Syvret on their blueline. When he wasn't claimed, the Lighning terminated his contract and he became an unrestricted free agent. He is expected to make his debut Monday. He had just one assist in 23 games with Tampa Bay this year, but had 19 points last season. He should fit in well with the Flyers.

Lukas Krajicek has cleared unconditional waivers and is now a free agent.

The Lightning terminated his contract after he cleared, so he is free to sign wherever he wants. The Bolts freed themselves from Krajicek's $1.475 million contract as a result of the move.

Lukas Krajicek was placed on unconditional waivers on Friday.

Haven't the Bolts been trying to get rid of this guy for forever? Well it seems that if he is not claimed this time, his contract can be terminated and Krajicek will become an unrestricted free agent and will once and for all become a former Lightning. Amen!

Lukas Krajicek will not be placed on re-entry waivers, according to GM Brian Lawton.

That means that Krajicek's tenure with the Lightning is over. Lawton is trying to trade the veteran defenseman. He signed a one-year deal worth $1.475 million in the off season, which he'll be collecting in Norfolk for the foreseeable future. He had one point in 23 games this season. Yet another wasted signing by Tampa. He's on a list now with Vaclav Prospal and Marc Denis, among others.

If he is not claimed by another team by noon Saturday, he will remain the property of the Lightning go back to being a regular healthy scratch.

Lukas Krajicek has played in each of the Lightning's last four games.

Krajicek spent nine of Tampa Bay's first 11 games in the press box, but he's been impressing Rick Tocchet lately. "He's just been more engaged. He's making decisions," Tocchet said. "Luke's only issue is when he plays on his heels. That's when he's in trouble. He's been playing on his toes. You've got to give him credit. He sat out six, seven, eight, whatever games in a row and worked hard and didn't know his fate. But he's been a big help for us." He was on the ice for 19:06 and 20:16 minutes in his last two games, but he currently has no fantasy value.

Lukas Krajicek will suit up for the Lightning on Saturday against Carolina.

David Hale (flu) is not expected to play and Kurtis Foster (lower body) will miss a third consecutive contest, which gives Krajicek his first action of the season. He does not have any fantasy value.

Lukas Krajicek might be on the trading block.

The Lightning are entering the season with a staggering nine defenseman. Barring a rash of injuries, Tampa Bay is probably going to be actively looking to part ways with at least one of those defenseman to make room for a 13th forward, and Krajicek is probably a prime candidate. Lightning coach Rick Tocchet isn't likely to play different blueliners in different games for the sake of giving everyone playing time and Krajicek isn't one of Tampa Bay's top six defenseman. Look for him to be a healthy scratch a fair amount of the time if he's not traded.
