Jason Pominville doesn't have a point in three games against Chicago in Round 2 of the postseason.

"I feel like we did [generate enough chances]. I feel every line had some looks, every line had some Grade-A scoring chances," Pominville said after Tuesday's 1-0 loss in Game 3. "We got to find a way to put one in and we weren't able to do that tonight. Whether it's us, or their goalie doing a good job, I don't know. But if we keep creating like that, we'll have a better chance to win, and tonight just wasn't one of those nights we were able to find a way." He had two goals and five points in six games versus St. Louis in the opening round.

Jason Pominville (illness) was back on the ice Thursday for practice.

He missed Wednesday's session because he wasn't feeling well. Pominville wasn't expected to be out for very long and he'll be ready to go in Game 1 of the second round against Chicago on Friday night.

He should be ready to go when Round 2 begins against Chicago on Friday. Pominville registered two goals and three assists in six games versus St. Louis in the quarterfinal round of the postseason.

Jason Pominville scored a goal and an assist during Monday's 3-0 Game Three win over St. Louis.

Pominville found himself all alone beside an empty net for perhaps the easiest goal of his career, and recorded the primary assist just 2:05 later on Zach Parise's goal to put the Wild up by two. Pominville also led the team with five shots, had three hits, two takeaways, and a block to boot. He now leads the team with two goals and shares the team lead in points with Parise with four.

Jason Pominville recorded an assist and a power play goal during Thursday's 4-2 Game One win over St. Louis.

Although Pominville's points went into empty nets, he did lead all Wild skaters with five shots, won all of his draws, and skated 17:29 with over four minutes on the power play. Pominville now has 15 goals and 38 career points in 61 playoff games.

Jason Pominville picked up two assists in Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to Detroit.

Pominville was also one of just two Wild players to score in the eight rounds of the shootout. The 32-year-old had a hand in both of Zach Parise's goals in the game. He has 17 goals and 52 points in 78 games this season. The Wild currently hold the first Wild Card spot in the Western Conference.

Jason Pominville scored two late goals to lift the Wild 2-1 over the Capitals on Thursday night.

The goals came 5:10 apart in the third period and were both remarkable. Pominville's first goal came during a scramble in front of the net, the result of his first shot being stopped. Pominville had lost his stick, regained it while on his knees, and swiped it through Holtby. The second was an off-angle slapper through Holtby's left armpit. He now has 15 goals and 44 points this season, good for second on the team.

Pominville hasn't seen that many of his shots find the back of the net, but has still managed to score at a 60-point pace this year. With a few favorable bounces he could be scoring near a point-per-game rate.

Jason Pominville is looking forward to playing in an outdoor game in 2016.

The NHL announced that the Wild will host the Chicago Blackhawks in a Stadium Series game on February 21, 2016. "I'm really pumped to have the chance to play in another outdoor game," Pominville said. "What a great experience it is for all the players and their families and all the fans that will have a chance to attend or watch on TV. It's great that the State of Hockey finally will be hosting one."

He scored what held up as the game winner just passed the midway point of the contest. Despite his dry spell on goals, Pominville has picked up four points in his past five outings.
