Scottie Upshall will tag in for Ryan Reaves in Sunday's match with Chicago.
As matchups go, this is a logical move by Coach Ken Hitchcock as Reaves essentially has no one to fight on Chicago. Which isn't to say that Upshall is some sort of maven. He's posted just six points with 16 PIMs and 53 hits in 39 games thus far. Jan 24 - 12:38 PM

Scottie Upshall and Robert Bortuzzo will be scratched against Colorado on Friday night.

Unfortunately there isn't much conventional fantasy value between these two veterans. Upshall has posted six points, 16 PIMs, and 53 hits through 39 games. While Bortuzzo has done a bit better with 42 PIMs and 49 PIMs in just 24 games.

Scottie Upshall and Robert Bortuzzo will be scratched against Anaheim on Friday night.

This will be the fourth time in six games Upshall has been scratched, but with four goals and not much else to show for his efforts. Bortuzzo meanwhile has yet to dress this month.

Scottie Upshall, Magnus Paajarvi, and Joel Edmundson will each be scratched from Friay's match with the Islanders.

Unfortunately there isn't much fantasy value to speak of here. Upshall has produced just four goals, 10 PIMs, and 29 hits in 19 games thus far. While Paarjarvi hasn't cracked that much. Edmunson meanwhile has two assists, 20 PIMs, 21 blocks, and 31 hits in 22 games.

Scottie Upshall scored the game-winning goal in Saturday's 3-1 victory over Columbus.

It was Upshall's first game-winning goal as a member of the Blues. "I’ve been shooting the puck a lot lately in practice and feeling good with it," Upshall said. "It was just one of those chances, when you’re in the slot, it’s tough to make plays when you’re a shooter, not much of a play-maker. I just threw it on net, saw it go top corner. I was pretty happy." The 32-year-old has four goals in 18 games this season.

Scottie Upshall will be a healthy scratch in Thursday's game against the Buffalo Sabres.

Upshall has three goals in 15 games this season. The 32-year-old has no points in each of his last five contests. Ryan Reaves will also watch the game from the press box. Reaves has no points and six penalty minutes in 14 games.

Scottie Upshall will be in the Blues lineup Saturday night against Minnesota.

He was a little banged up this week but will play on a line with David Backes and Steve Ott against the Wild Saturday. Upshall doesn't really have a significant amount of fantasy value.

Scottie Upshall (undisclosed) didn't practice Wednesday.

He felt a "little bit sore" after he was hurt late in Tuesday's contest, so he was kept off the ice. Coach Ken Hitchcock said that Upshall would be fine so it sounds like he'll be available to play Thursday night. We will keep him active for now and update his status if that changes.

Scottie Upshall will return to the Blues lineup on Tuesday night against the Lightning.

Upshall is off to a nice start this season through five games with two assists and 16 shots on goal. He'll be skating to the right of Dmitrij Jaskin and David Backes on the Blues' second line, offering a prime opportunity to seal a top-six role.

Scottie Upshall will be scratched against the Islanders on Saturday night.

Upshall is off to a decent start this season with two points and 16 shots in five games, but perhaps Coach Hitchcock was simply looking for a way to jolt the lineup.

Scottie Upshall and Scott Gomez should see more ice time with Paul Stastny (lower-body) injured.

"He’s been a real good player, he’s had a real good start to the year," Hitchcock said of Stastsny. "But you know, this is exactly why we signed up (Scottie) Upshall and (Scott) Gomez. We’re very fortunate that (Blues general manager Doug Armstrong) did that. It allows us to put veteran players who have played these roles their whole career right back into place to have success."

Coach Ken Hitchcock was impressed with Scottie Upshall's season debut on Tuesday night.

"Uppie gave us good energy," Hitchcock said. "He really did a good job of attacking the net and putting pressure on people with his feet. The part I liked more than anything is he went into the hard areas and tried to score." Upshall got his first goal as a member of the Blues against Calgary and he finished with a team-high six shots in 10:55 of ice time

Scottie Upshall will draw into the lineup on Tuesday.

Upshall will help fill the void left by Robby Fabbri, who is out due to a concussion. Look for Upshall to play alongside David Backes and Dmitrij Jaskin.
