On the season he has a goal and five assists with 18 penalty minutes in 40 games this year. Garbutt has sat out the last two Stars games but has played in 60 games overall this year, scoring seven goals and 22 points. He appears to have found the dog house. Mar 25 - 5:57 PM

Travis Moen is still not ready to play, and will sit Friday night in Calgary.

Even if he were ready, the once quality rugged lower-six forward simply doesn't score, hit, block, or take enough penalties to be a viable fantasy player.

Newly-acquired Travis Moen will not be in the Dallas lineup Saturday afternoon against the Wild.

The Dallas Stars have acquired Travis Moen from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for Sergei Gonchar.

This is an interesting trade for Dallas given that its blueline was thin to begin with. The Stars have struggled early this season despite high expectations and while Moen is certainly isn't young at 32, this is a somewhat longer term move for Dallas given that Moen is signed through 2015-16. Moen is a bottom-six forward who can help the Stars kill penalties.

Travis Moen will draw back into the Habs' lineup to replace the injured Michael Bournival.

He will play on the Canadiens' fourth line alongside Manny Maholtra and either Dale Weisse or Rene Bourque. As we are sure you are aware, Moen is not worth a fantasy roster spot.
