Travis Moen has been the odd-man out for most of the season, while dealing with some injury concerns.

He was in the lineup for Tuesday's game against Columbus, which marked the first time he has played in consecutive games since October. "He has been the consummate pro throughout everything," coach Lindy Ruff said. "I have the best dilemma any coach has. I have a healthy group, and I have a group that is playing well." Moen has played in just eight games this year.

Travis Moen was in the Dallas lineup Friday night against the Oilers.

Why is this news? Well, it was the first time Moen dressed for a game since October 15th. Patrick Eaves sat in the press box to give Moen his opportunity. Needless to say, Moen has no fantasy value.

Forward Travis Moen may be back in the Dallas lineup when the Stars visit the Canucks in Vancouver Saturday night.

Dallas coach Lindy Ruff said either Moen or Ryan Garbutt, or both, will return after he made them healthy scratches Wednesday night for a game against Calgary. Moen was taken off injured reserve Monday. On the season, he has a goal and five assists in 40 games. Garbutt has seven goals and 22 points in 60 games. Ruff would not say who would sit out in Vancouver if Moen and-or Garbutt returned.
