Upon further clarification, Marek Zidlicky can earn up to $4 million in 2014-15.
Zidlicky will actually receive a base salary of $3 million based on his recently signed deal with New Jersey. However, he can earn an additional $1 million by playing in at least 25 games. Barring a major injury, Zidlicky should have no trouble fulfilling the obligations of that bonus. Jun 3 - 6:03 PM

Marek Zidlicky has agreed to a one-year, $4 million contract with the New Jersey Devils.

That's pretty good value for New Jersey, considering he had 12 goals and 42 points in 81 games in 2013-14. He'll turn 38 in February, so obviously his age is a factor, but he should still be one of the more productive offensive defensemen next season.
