There is both good and bad in Gregory Campbell's game so far this season.
If you have Campbell on your squad, you were probably hoping for some contributions in some of the expanded statastics such as faceoff wins and shots. Campbell is certainly doing well in the dot with a 55.3 win percentage. However, his shot total is anemic--29 shots in 30 games. If Campbell is going to be worth rostering he is going to have to direct more shots on the opponents net in the immediate future. Sat, Dec 27, 2014 08:10:00 AM

Gregory Campbell skated on Thursday for the first time at camp, but he's still doubtful to be available for Boston's regular season opener due to a core injury.

Gregory Campbell has stated he's willing to move to the wing this season if it can help the team.

Campbell has played his natural center position in each of the four seasons he has spent with the Bruins, but he acknowledged he may have to move off the position in the future. "I've been a center for the last four years, but I'm not going to [demand anything]. I want to be in a spot where I can complement other guys," Campbell said. "If they throw me with whoever it is and I have to play wing and we're a successful line, then so be it. That's where I want to be. I have played center for a long time, so it may take me a few games, but I'm sure I can do it." Regardless of position, look for Campbell to remain a regular part of Boston's fourth line.
