He was hit by a shot from Flyers defenseman Radko Gudas in Tuesday's match and left the game in the second period.

He will move up to play alongside Kyle Turris and Mark Stone, while Mike Hoffman will move down to skate with Jean-Gabriel Pageau and Alex Chiasson. He opened the scoring early in the first period on a power play that went two-for-three in the contest. Ottawa had a 3-1 lead after the first frame, but ended up losing 7-5 after Nashville scored three unanswered goals in the third. Michalek entered the game with two assists in his previous 10 outings.

Michalek has 201 goals and 429 points in his career. He has been derailed by injuries the past few years which has limited his offensive upside. He is currently playing with Jean-Gabriel Pageau and Clarke MacArthur on the third line. Michalek should only be owned in deep leagues.

Milan Michalek scored a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Winnipeg Jets.

The Senators had a 3-2 lead in the final minute of the third period but Jets' forward Andrew Ladd scored with 52 seconds left to force overtime. Michalek opened the scoring at the 11:01 mark of the first period and picked up the primary assist on Zack Smith's goal in the second frame. The 30-year-old will look to have a bounce-back season after he scored just 13 goals and 34 points in 66 games.
